KK's November Rotation

Good morning!

Yesterday I did the Turbo Jam Cardio Party Mix #1. What a blast. Pretty aerobically tough too. I burned 359 kcals in 50 minutes. yikes.....heart rate was up there and I wasn't going all out (well can never go all out on first time through I'm not that fast on catching on!) It was a lot of kickbox type moves, but simple.

Well, have a great day everyone!

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!:)

That workout sounds tough, Jeanette -- squats off the bike, no less. And all in an hour, too. I agree on that hour time limit -- it fits well into my schedule as well. I've been going a little over an hour lately cause I'm still trying to lose some weight -- but honestly, an hour is best.

I have some Taebo workouts too that I should do now and again. They are good and I like them. Have to consider that.

That Turbo Jam Mix sounds good,Rhea -- and it was 50 minutes. That's great. I can never master these things the first time through, either, but it sounds like a really cool workout.:)

Jeanette, you must be in incredible shape right now. I'm trying to catch back up to where I was before I went on tour and then go from there. Did ME today -- still my favorite -- but couldn't go up as high in weights as I was able to do previously. But I know I'll get back into it. This was the first full all strength workout that I've done since I've been back. The other weeks, I've done shortened versions of them. So at least I'm getting back in the groove.

Now for some lovely info. Talked to my daughter today. She is loving the workouts. Getting her the step made all the difference -- she loves Cathe and isn't bored and said the first day she worked out, she literally had to crawl out of bed and all day long, as she sat or walked around at work, she'd say "ouch! ouch!" To the point where her co-workers were starting to laugh.

She loves it. Absolutely loves it. And I'm thrilled. She's been doing the TimeSaver DVD more than the other one -- though she started with the other. And she's glad to be working out again. I'm really happy, too.:7

Well, tomorrow is a 40 minute steady state run on the Cathe rotation and then some abs (don't have the abs called for, so I'll do some from another workout -- maybe the one from High Step Challenge -- I like that abs section) -- then a stretch. Love the stretches.

Am looking forward to it, although it has been raining all day here -- if it's raining tomorrow, I might substitute another all cardio instead.

The liver cleanse is going well. Am getting so that I really crave fresh fruit and veggies, I've noticed. And some of my sugar craving are going away. Still like the bread, though, and sometimes it's hard to walk by a place where they're making bread. Hmmmm...

Well, have a wonderful day, everyone. And have some incredible workouts.:7

Hi Karen, Rhea and Natalie:

Love this check-in, I so look forward to the whole package, working out, talking to my internet friends, hearing how they are doing, feeling good, eating well. You can tell the endorphins are flowing today (LOL), and I'm on TTOM so guess I'm doing okay!

Rhea, your turbo workout sounds really fun! The calorie burn feature of the HRM is something I wanted too so I ordered one with that. It's the Polar M32. What kind are you using?

Karen, so glad your daughter is loving the workouts. I sure wish my sisters would try something that's effective and FUN, I think then they'd be hooked, but it's just not everyone's thing, is it? I know you will get all of your strength back, as it's already starting to happen. I'm looking forward also to doing my circuit workouts and full body workouts soon. I've had wonderful results from this rotation, but will soon move on, but actually, I'm not in any hurry to do the fat burning as I'm getting enough with this one.

Today was Pyramids Upper Body (up premix only) for chest and back. After doing S&H, you feel like you are really rushing. I then did the abs from PUB also. After that (instead of 30 minute run), I tacked on CTX 10-10-10. Great workout, hadn't done that one in a while. I had moved my step away during the hi/lo and didn't bother to get it back out for the step part so just did the whole routine without a step. It was easy and less impact (not that there is much, it was just different). Good workout today!

Karen, I think I am in better shape, we'll see where my heart rate is when I get the monitor. I don't know if I mentioned it, but during my Spinervals yesterday (Enter The Red Zone), Brenda Frambes from Cathe's videos is in it. Her heart rate got up to 191 during one of the intervals! Wow!!! Also, for sure what has helped has been cycling my calories and watching the fats. I'm at TTOM and didn't gain any weight so am anxious to see if I drop any afterwards. Actually, I'm pretty happy with the weight thing, could just use tightening the legs more, just haven't concentrated on them lately. Just not enough time to do it all, but that's okay.

I lent my Timesaver DVD out to a gal at work, I need to remind her to get it back soon as she has an injury and can't do the workouts. I'd sure hate to lose any of my Cathe's.

Karen, stay away from the bakery :7 Glad you are doing well on the cleanse.

Jeanette

Hello and Good morning to all!

Jeanette, if I remember right,(I've had my HR monitor for about 3 years now) it is a Polar A5, cost between 80-100 which I thought was really expensive, but found out that it is the normal price range. I love the monitor, but do find myself cussin the amount of calories burned sometimes. I do like the measuring of the HR though especially since my aerobic capacity is pretty high and it takes some work for me to maintain above 120 in a fair amount of videos. In any type of circuit, my HR always drops below my low end range during the weights, so I have a very little calorie burn for those types of workouts. I bet you find that you have the same type of HR response because you cycle.

Karen - so glad to see that you are getting back to it! It takes such a while to regain sometimes. I've gone back to just straight aerobics so that I can at least do twenty minutes every day. Haven't really gone back to the weights yet. Just doing push-ups yesterday gave me DOMS in the chest, so I'm sort of chicken to add the weights!

Well, I suppose I should get to work or something. Tomorrow is a holiday for us....yippee. A three day weekend.

Have a great day and wonderful workouts.

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!:)

That is so cool what you posted Jeanette -- I, too, look forward to getting onto the Cathe site every night and seeing how you both did and chatting -- I just love it, too. And thanks for mentioning it, Jeanette.

Looks like both you and Rhea are having fun. That's interesting, Rhea, about your aerobic capacity and your heart rate dropping on circuit workouts -- because I've never monitored my heart rate, I've never really checked. Although I don't have a monitor, I think it might be easy to check. Does this happen even on workouts like Bootcamp?

I've never had the problem of getting the heartrate up -- sometimes, I have the opposite problem -- so I've just never checked. I tend to judge the workouts by how much I sweat...:+

It's true, Jeanette, wouldn't you like all your loved ones to find the wonderful world of exercise -- and to at least try Cathe? But you're right -- everyone has their own thing -- and maybe some other form of exercise would be just the right thing for your sisters.

That's really interesting about Brenda being on that spinerval -- was it sort of like "old home week" seeing her there? Actually, my heart rate gets up to around that range (a little lower) pretty easily -- as I mentioned above. I tend to workout in the higher end of my heartrate zone almost continually. As I've gotten more in shape, that range lowers a bit and I have to increase the exercise load to get it back up. Long ago -- or maybe not all that long ago -- when I realized I needed to start exercising (I was in my early thirties), I went to my first aerobics class and my heart rate was up there over 200... Like I said, though, as I got more and more in shape, that range falls pretty quickly...thank goodness.

Interesting how different we all are, isn't it?

Rhea, that's exciting about doing all that cardio -- cardio is almost always my favorite -- and you'll know when to add in the weights again -- had to laugh at what you said about the push-ups.

Oh, Jeanette, I'm like that with my Cathe's too. It's a real act of love that I gave my TimeSaver DVD to my daughter.;-)

Well, here I am going on and on.

Anyway, tomorrow is High Step Advanced. Haven't done this one in a while so it should be interesting.

Today was a 40 minute steady state run, then supposed to do abs and then stretch. I did the run -- it was actually a walk/run -- and the stretch -- didn't do the abs.x( But it felt good to get out there -- it was sprinkling just a little, which made it kind of fun.

A three day weekend! Wow! Have fun and happy workouts everyone.:7

Good morning ladies!

Received my new Polar M32 HRM yesterday in the mail so of course, I was excited to try it out. The rotation called for Body Max today, which I subbed with The Gauntlet.

Before starting the workout, I set my HRM for Ownzone and did the little test that determines your limits. Mine is 147 as high and 112 as low. I realize this is a circuit workout so my heart rate would drop below my zone for some of the weight sections. During the cardio sections, I never got above 143 and that was during plyos in the Bootcamp sections and the fast foot repeaters of Imax2. Actually my average for the workout was 118 and In the Zone for only 30 minutes, with a calorie burn of 202. Hmmm. One thing that kept happening was my heart rate wouldn't register at times during the weight work, it would just go to zero. I would fiddle with the strap and then it would start working again. Maybe I need to tighten the strap or wet the transmitter some more with gel? Where do you wear the strap? Under your breasts I assumed, but the transmitter doesn't necessarily always lay flat against my skin there.

Also, dumb question, if I go above 147, does that mean I am anaerobic?

Rhea, did you go thru an adjustment period also?

Anyway, my workout was somewhat distracted (knew it would be), but that's okay. I will travel to Reno this afternoon and spend the night with Cass and Jess (our son). They bought a house a couple weeks ago so I'll stay the night with them and tomorrow Cass and I will go shopping and do a short bike ride as she hasn't had time to ride lately, been concentrating on the purchase of their new house, etc.

Have a bike ride around Lake Almanor on Sunday with our bike club. Should be a great ride too.

Karen, yes, it was neat to see Brenda on Spinervals. I am in awe over the high heart rates on the DVD!!! Don't think I will be anywhere near there at all. Probably more like down in the 140's/150's I'm thinking. We'll see. For kicks, checked my resting heart rate this morning. It was 51 bpm as the lowest.

Well, lots to do today.

Jeanette

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!:)

Since I don't use a heart rate monitor, I can't answer your questions, Jeanette, but hopefully Rhea will come on and help you out with it. Sorry, wish I could help.

I'm going to monitor my heart rate with my workout tomorrow -- didn't get a workout in today, cause I remembered last minute that I was to meet a friend at noon and so I had to rush and get dressed and out the door. So I have High Step Advanced to do tomorrow and I'm going to see where my heart range is -- usually don't pay any attention to it -- but I think mine tends to range high -- it always has for as long as I've been exercising. And what's interesting is that when I'm more fit, the heart rate decreases -- not increases -- although that might have changed nowadays -- I just haven't been monitoring it.

But what fun -- to have a new gadget to play with.;-)

And I'm so thrilled. My daughter called me tonight after her workout -- she is so excited about these workouts -- and I'm really excited, too. Says she feels so good doing them. This is so cool. And guess what she wants for Christmas? That's right -- more workouts. I asked for the same thing from her...

Well, I'm off for the rest of the night, just wanted to check in and see how you all are doing. Have fun tomorrow, Jeanette with Cass and tell her I said "hi" -- okay? It sounds like fun -- biking with your son's girlfriend.

And they're buying a house -- wow!:D That's really something.

Have fun on the ride on Sunday, too. I'll be thinking about you. I have outside intervals (sprinting) planned for Sunday.

The diet is going well -- still have a few pounds to lose, but it's going well -- no complaints.

Have a great weekend, everybody.:7

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!:)

Am posting again, as I need to review next week's rotation. Although I'm doing Cathe's rotation, I need to change it a bit to fit my schedule -- and I notice I'll need to insert something between two workouts since I don't take my day off on Wednesday.

So this is what I'm planning:

Mon: Circuit Max

Tues: Legs & Glutes (I don't have Hard Core Legs)

Wednesday: Don't have Step, Jump & Pump, so am going to substitute Cardio & Weights

Thursday: IMAX 2

Friday: 40 min. steady state run/abs from High Step Challenge/Stretchmax

Sat: Don't have Step Blast, so will substitute some other step from one of the other DVD's or videos that I have

Sun: Off

Didn't exercise today, realized it's just too difficult to exercise on this day -- since this is traditionally mine and my husband's time to be together -- and to clean, as well...

Oh, something else exciting is happening -- I'm up for contract and have an offer on the table, which I'm very happy about -- Ah! Love it.:7

Happy Monday and Happy workouts everybody! :7

Good morning everyone!

Good to be back, been a busy weekend. Went to Reno and spent the night on Friday night with Cass and Jesse. Their house is nice. Cass and I rode bikes on the bike path along the Truckee River on Saturday a.m. Had a great time, just spun easy for 14 miles. Did some shopping afterwards and came back to Susanville in the afternoon.

Yesterday was a bike ride with 5 others at Lake Almanor. We did a fast 45 miles with hills. I felt good and was pleased with my average speed when it was thru.

Today, I am starting a fat loss rotation. I did a shortened version of KPC with abs. I'm still messing with the HRM. Had the problem of the display going to "0" while working out a couple of times. The disconcerting thing is that my heart rate will stay the same on the display for a minute, then change up or down about 10 or 20 beats (all in one jump). Don't think this is right, could be interference with the TV. I've emailed their tech support so hopefully will get a response today. If it's an interference thing, I'll send the HRM back as I'll be using it in the house with the TV, no getting around that. Also, once it jumped from 135 up to 193 in one jump (I know that's not right). It took me a long time to get my heart rate up into the 130's. Final workout stats were: In Zone 23 minutes. Calories burned A WHOPPING 136!!! Average heart rate: 120. When I did the workout on Friday, I was in the zone for 30 minutes, with 202 calorie burn. I'm just having a hard time with these numbers. Like I said, I hope the Polar tech emails me back today.

Anyway, despite this problem, I had a great workout!

Tomorrow, I may do something light upper body and when I get home from work (before DH does), I plan on doing one of my new Spinervals, then try to get back onto the fat loss rotation someway.

Good workouts to all. Karen, so good to hear about the contract. Hope it's a good one.

Jeanette

Hi Jeanette, Rhea & Natalie!:)

Am signing on to the forums a little earlier today. Am trying to find out a bit more about the new Low Impact and Sculpting DVD. Have asked on the Cathe forum and the DVD forum about the sculpting -- want to get this DVD for my daughter, but I noticed that the sculpting section uses almost entirely the Stability Ball -- and my daughter lives in too small an apartment to keep a stability ball -- so am trying to get more info.

Anyway, that's so cool that you had a good time with Cass and Jessie. I remember the beauty of the Truckee River very well. What fun that you two got to ride by it.

That heart rate monitor really doesn't sound right -- hope you do hear from their tech support today. Interesting that it takes you alot to get up to 130 heartrate. I checked mine on Saturday, just to see -- and mine was easily in the 180 range (of course this was after having just done one of the intervals that's supposed to get your heart rate way up there). But then, like I said, that's been the way of it with me -- heart rate gets up there rather easily. But it's also only when it's in that range that I begin to sweat...

Well, I haven't exercised yet today -- am reading so much lately about food and cooking and fermenting vegetables and grains and such -- so spent the early part of the morning in the kitchen -- house sure smells good -- have chicken broth brewing (for 24 hours) and spelt grains which were fermented -- drying in the dehydrator. Did you know that for thousands of years, man usually soaked overnight or fermented his grains -- it gets rid of the outer coating of the seed, which inhibits enzymes and interferes with calcium absorption in the body apparently. It's sort of one of these lost arts -- or a lost knowledge. Anyway, it sure is interesting.

Today is Circuit Max and I'm looking forward to it -- haven't done that workout in a while.

Woke up in the middle of the night with what I now am coming to recognize as low blood sugar problems -- incredible hunger -- so I think that one of the fruits I ate last night did not agree with me -- I've been eating alot of fruit and vegetables on this liver cleanse, and so far no problem, but I think it was the orange I had -- oranges and I don't normally get along -- they tend to upset my stomach -- so I'm thinking that it was probably that. We'll see... I'll just keep it out of the diet today. Other than that the liver cleanse is going well.

Okay, so I'm going on and on again.

Have a terrific day, everyone.:7

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!:)

Just another post after exercising. Did Circuit Max today -- haven't done it for a while and it exhausted me. Can't believe it exhausted me. I feel so out of shape. I had to modify so many moves -- but then again, I think I'm still recovering from the tour and from a schedule before the tour that was non-stop.

Tomorrow is Legs & Glutes and I can't wait to do it -- it'll be my first time doing this one.

Cathe answered my question in her forum -- and I copied her answer for my daughter and I'll go ahead and get her those new Lo Impact DVD's. I'm excited about it -- because she's so excited about the exercise now.

Believe it or not, I'll be going to Florida soon -- but it's for rest and relaxation. Probably will spend Christmas there -- the first time I've been away from home over Christmas for a very long time. I'm going to try to get all my shopping done and wrapping ahead of time. We'll see...

Anyway, have a great day tomorrow -- and happy workouts everyone.:7

Good morning Karen, Rhea and Natalie!

It was PUB (up only premix) for me today. Should have been Lowmax, but I'm planning on doing a Spinerval after work today so decided to do upper body only this morning. Good workout, only 30 minutes if you do the premix (up only). Have a nice burn going. After doing S&H, really seems like we're flying!

Tomorrow we're having a potluck at work and I'm bringing a creamy yam casserole so have to make that tonite. I just love yams and have been having them regularly, baked in microwave, with fake butter, cinnamon and Splenda on top. A real dessert for me :p

Karen, hope you enjoy Legs and Glutes. It's a toughie, don't think I've done the whole thing very often. The floor work is a killer at the end, especially with ankle weights! It'll get you, but in a good way. I don't have Circuit Max.

I talked to the tech support at Polar yesterday on the phone. The person told me to not use the gel, but to use water instead on the electrode patches. She thought that would take care of it. I'll use my HRM tonite for Spinervals and see if that helps.

Karen, Florida sounds very relaxing, unless of course, there's a hurricane. Hopefully, that season is coming to an end soon. Oh my, I haven't really thought much about Christmas yet and the whole family will be coming here this year! Guess I'd better get my mind right. Have the carpet cleaning guy coming on Friday a.m., then the horseshoer later on at noon. Guess it will be one of those days.

Good workouts to everyone, hope Rhea and Natalie can check in too!

Jeanette

Good morning!

Haven't been around the computer to be able to post. Jeanette, my HR monitor, I['m only supposed to get it wet to make it work. If you are too close to the tv or electronic equipment for long, the HR does mess up because of the interference. I once had the vacuum on and my HR was 238 or something ridiculous. Also, sometimes when you bend over, the strap will lift off your chest enough so that it doesn't register. I've learned to make sure that it is tight and tuck it right under your breasts. It doesn't need much water to activate either. I still get strange readings every once in a while but have learned to ignore.

Yes, my HR barely gets up there in Boot Camp. The one minute cardios are just not enough to sustain a higher HR.

Have a great day!

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!:)

Well, news first. I'm offically under contract again. We're just working out the details now. Whew! Nice to know I'm still employed.

Today was great on one front, but frustrating on another front as I was trying to load a new program on my computer and couldn't do it. I should know better than to try to do this on my own -- I'm not computer lit enough to do it and I end up frustrated. My husband finally handled the whole thing tonight when he got home -- but it took him a while, too.;)

Rhea & Jeanette -- I think the two of you must be in really terrific shape -- it takes almost nothing for me to get my heart rate way up there -- it's gotten better as I've become more and more in shape -- I have noticed, however, that the one minute intervals in Bootcamp weren't (prior to tour) getting my heart rate way up there, either. Might prove differently now, however.

That dessert with yams sounds wonderful,Jeanette -- I make a cookie with yams, but I use stevia as a sweetner. Oh, the liver cleanse is still going well, which is really good.

It might take getting used to on the heart monitor, Jeanette -- Rhea, it's so cool to read about your experience with this -- I've been sort of in the dark with it.:+

Eek! Christmas -- I'm really going to try to get all my shopping done this week...that's really saying something for me -- can't believe that tomorrow is already the middle of November.

Tomorrow is cardio and weights for me, although talking about bootcamp makes me want to jump in and do it instead. I really liked Legs & Glutes -- tough workout, but fun. And my legs were fried by the end of it.

Oh, just got the cover for my next book -- it's a beauty. The most beautiful cover I've had so far. Hopefully I'll have it up on my website in a few weeks.

Anyway, happy workouts everyone -- and have a terrific day.:7

Good morning Karen, Rhea and Natalie:

Yesterday, I did Pyramids Upper Body (up only premix) and when I got home from work, I popped in my Spinerval DVD "Lean & Mean". It was a great workout and talk about intensity! My HRM worked perfectly (no "0" readings, stuck heart rate, etc.) My top HR was 152 and I was feeling it at that, burning legs (lactic coming in). Average HR was 136, though I forgot to actually start the HRM until 20 minutes into the workout so it only captured the last 30 minutes.

This morning was High Step Challenge (timesaver of 53 minutes). Interesting stats and I won't bore you guys with stats much longer, still experimenting. For this workout, I was only in my zone (147/112)for 9 minutes out of 50 some minutes, with a calorie burn of a whopping 75. My average HR was 98. Also, I think I'm getting interference from the TV as it did stop about 4 or 5 times and got "stuck". When I'd turn away from the TV or walk towards the door, it would start up again. Where I put the bike to spin is closer to the door so I didn't get any interference, and I could see my HR change quite often. I'm going to contact Polar again and see if there is another model that doesn't react so much to the TV, maybe there won't be, but I'll check anyway. Also, don't think I'll wear it for circuit workouts like HSC or weight work. Hopefully, it'll work for the all cardio workouts. My step is less than 3' from the TV and this won't change. Mostly, I got the HRM for the spin workouts as you are doing lots of intervals and have to train at certain intensities.

Karen, glad you still have a job! Bet the cover is pretty, maybe you can post a picture? Wow, Christmas shopping, I am starting to get some ideas, but usually I'm a procrastinator.

Today is our potluck at work. I'm going to try to not eat too too much. Made my yam casserole last night. Will put it in the microwave at work and put the marshmallows on top then. Don't know how it will go over, but I sure love it (don't need it though).

Must run,

Good workouts, my friends!

Jeanette

Hi Jeanette, Rhea & Natalie!;)

Am logging on again early today, as I forgot what my schedule was for the rest of the week. Okay, so it's Cardio & Weights for me today and then tomorrow will be IMAX2 (IMAX2 again because I still don't feel quite "up to" IMAX1 or 3 yet.

That casserole sounds so yummy, Jeanette. I bet it will be an instant hit.

Well, the liver cleanse is going very well. I'm really happy with the results -- am feeling more and more refreshed as time passes -- still fighting exhaustion a bit -- but I'm getting over it (I hope).:)

Yes, it is nice to still be employed and the cover is truly a beaut. I'll try to get it up pretty soon -- don't have a scanner or anything, so will have to send to my webmistress to have her post it.

It does sound as if you have some interference with the heart monitor. I know my step is probably about 3 feet away from the TV, as well, and I don't think I could put it back farther. Sounds like the spinerval was great though.

Well, gearing up for Thanksgiving, plus hope to get some holiday shopping done today -- again, I must be early this year.

Have a terrific day, everyone -- and great workouts.:7

Good morning!

3' away would interefere a bit with the monitor. Shouldn't that much though. I don't wear the monitor for the circuit workouts anymore either because of the low stats. The monitor doesn't count burned calories until your HR is above 100, so it gets really depressing on the circuit workouts when the average HR is below 100.

Okay, yesterday I did Turbo Jam #2 and then the entire Cardio Crunch Dance Blast. Burned 618 calories; total time was 1:26; was in the target zone for 1:10; and average HR was 124. Great workout.

Well, got to get some work done before class.

Hi everyone,

I'm still working through the November rotation but doing things a bit out of order this week and the weather was so unseasonably warm today that I just had to do the 40 minute run for Thursday, week 2.

Otherwise, I've been having a problem with my right rotator cuff for about 4 weeks now but I think I am close to getting it back to normal. It will be so great when I don't have to modify my workouts to accomodate my right shoulder.

Anyway, hope no one else is nursing any orthopedic injuries.

Natalie

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!;)

My second post for the day.

Rhea, I'm so impressed with you. An hour and a half workout. That's so very, very cool -- and look at all those calories you burned. Go, girl.

And Natalie, it's really good to hear from you. I'm doing the November rotation, too, although, like you I'm doing things a little out of order. Today was supposed to be Cardio and Weights for me but I was a little upset over something, so I did IMAX2 instead and worked off some of my frustration that way.}( The workout was great and so I plan on doing Cardio and Weights tomorrow. Am really enjoying the November rotation, though.

So Natalie, how did you injure your shoulder? The rotation cuff no less... Hope you are well soon and can exercise without having to accomodate the injury.

And Jeanette, you'll have to let us know how your day was today -- did the casserole go over well? I'm sure it did.

Well, anyway, am very busy with life and things -- and doing well on this liver cleanse. Am really loving it, actually.

It's a little late now and time for bed, so happy workouts everyone.:7

Good morning Karen, Rhea and Natalie:

So good to hear from everyone!

Natalie, glad you've been able to exercise and good you can modify. My DH's shoulder is injured and it's very painful for him, especially at night. How did you injure it? Is surgery needed on it?

Rhea, your workout sounded tough but good, wow that's a ton of calories to burn! Glad you are able to get the workouts in and accomplish taking classes too.

Karen, hope your workout (C&W) was good yesterday. I did Imax2 today also. Great workout and I did it on an 8" step, which got my HR up higher, much better for me. I did get interference from the TV off and on, but it does tell me where my heart rate is during the blasts. For Imax2 today I was in my zone for 36 minutes, with a 122 average and 217 calories burned. That's a drop in the bucket of calories I consumed yesterday LOL! It was a great potluck, but we were way heavy on desserts. I work in a mostly "guy" department and guess it's easiest for them to pick up a dessert at the store than to make something or ask their wives to make something. My yam casserole went over very well. Today I'm back on the clean eating wagon. I'm heading off to fitday right now!

Good workouts all!

Jeanette
