KK's November Rotation

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!;)

Wow, Jeanette, you did IMAX2 on and 8" step? I'm impressed. What shape you are in. I loved both IMAX2 and Cardio & Weights -- it's been a good few days these past few days. My weight was a little up this morning -- don't like the looks of that -- I'll be really happy when my weight is back to where I want it to be and I can eat more normally again -- although after this cleanse, normal might become something entirely different.

Am reading a book (am always reading a book on something or other) called Nurishing Traditions -- it's a politically incorrect cookbook -- very interesting stuff -- interesting book.

Anyway, tomorrow is a 40 minute run, abs and a stretch -- sometimes, I don't do the abs because my time is short and I do want the stretch.

But anyway, hope you have a wonderful day and terrific workouts, everyone.:7

Good morning Karen, Rhea and Natalie:

Today was 20 min. steady state run and PLB, but as I have a lot to do today, I did about 25 minutes of one of the Cardio Classics and then did PLB (up premix) standing work only. I will probably be biking tomorrow (light bike ride with Cass in Reno) and Sunday a longer, harder ride so didn't want to tax my legs too much. Anyways, it was about 1 hour long.

Tomorrow will be a rest day, but will do a bike ride on the path in Reno with Cass. My DH and I will be going to Reno tonite to stay with the kids. There's a big gun show at the Hilton that DH wants to attend. Cass and I will probably do a ride on the bike path (fairly leisurely) and then I need to go to a bike shop and find a warm pair of booties to wear. When the weather gets cold up here, you have to have good foot protection for hands and feet. Noticed I had lost one of my booties so need to get another pair.

Carpet cleaning guy coming at 8:00 a.m. today and horseshoer at 12, then off to Reno so will be a busy day.

Karen, glad you are feeling good in your workouts. There's nothing like feeling strong, is there? Glad the liver cleanse is going well. Will you still be doing it at Thanksgiving?

Must run,
Jeanette

Good morning all!

Wow, I thought I had posted yesterday, but must have read and then got interrupted at work. Oh well. Yesterday was a day in heck at the office. I was here until 7:00, yuck. I did manage to do a workout at lunch though. For some reason, I thought that IMAX3 would be fun. It was, just wiped me out and helped tighten up my back, darn it. (I guess I used my arms a lot more than normal with up and down type moves) Today is massage in the afternoon, but I think I might do a quick and easy cardio just to move around. Otherwise I might never wake up today!

Have a great weekend everyone. I'm taking next week off of work, so posting will be minimal (computer at home seems to take forever to post lately)

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!;-)

Been a bit of a tough weekend for me. Sigh... But had fun on Saturday -- was my birthday -- and we went to a pow-wow -- something I haven't been to in a long time -- and I danced my little heart out. Plus, I got to see some friends that I haven't seen in a while -- so was very, very good.

Jeanette -- how was your bike ride on Saturday with Cass? Bet it was fun and relaxing. I love the sound of booties, also -- makes me feel like I'm a new mom again -- that's my definition of booties. I can imagine how important they are, though, in the cold weather.

A gun show, huh? It sounds like fun and the wild, wild West -- and again, reminds me of the sort of stories that I write about.

Rhea, am so glad you have the whole week off -- do hope to hear from you now and again, but I can understand those slow computers -- hmmm, I'm on one...:+

IMAX3 is one I only do if I'm feeling strong -- although when I was on tour I did it without a step a few times, and it wasn't as hard without a step.

Have fun on your week off, Rhea. I'll be thinking about you -- as I sit here pondering my new contract. Seems accounting at many of the pub houses has gotten a bit creative.x(

Okay, on Saturday, I did interval sprints -- the sprint 8 -- and then went to a pow-wow and danced all afternoon and evening. Boy, am I sore today -- used muscles I don't normally use.

Sunday was my day off.

So here's the schedule for next week:

Mon: Don't have supersets so will substitute with ME

Tues: IMAX1 -- this is a bit harder than IMAX2, I think and not quite as much fun -- but a good workout, nonetheless

Wednesday: Just did Legs & Glutes last week, so will substitute Pyramid Premix workout for both lower and upper Body, plus a 20 minute run.

Thursday: Sprint 8 outside (interval running) plus stretch -- TURKEY DAY -- plus, we plan to put the turkey in the over and get out of the house to go see Harry Potter.

Friday: 40 minute run (just did anaerobics the day before so will leave out the KickMax drills) and stretch

Saturday: Bootcamp

Sunday: Off

It's sort of Cathe's schedule, with substitutions and a few changes here and there to accomodate my schedule.

Have a very, very wonderful day and happy workouts everybody.

:7

Good morning Karen, Natalie & Rhea:

Forgot to mention that I'm off work this week. Couldn't resist asking for M, T, W off, giving me 10 days off in a row for the price of 3 8-hour days! The other girls hadn't asked for it off, so I did. I have a few projects I want to get done this week too.

Friday nite DH and I drove to son's new house in Reno. Stayed the nite and the next day DH and son went to gun show, while Cass and I did a little shopping and did a nice ride on the bike path (19 miles). It was a beautiful day, everyone had a great time.

Yesterday, 4 of us did a bike ride out to the coffee shop (32 miles round trip). Very nice ride, some nice sprints up hills, good company, great weather!

I'm doing week #2 of the November rotation so I did Kickmax. I did all of it except for the leg conditioning drills and I modified the tuck jumps in the blast section. Good workout. I've only done this DVD once before I think. For some reason, I haven't enjoyed it that much, but today was good and I felt better about modifying the impact. Tomorrow will be a Spinerval workout.

Rhea, I hope your back has loosened up. I woke up the other day with a tight shoulder (back of shoulder) for some reason. It's better now, but sometimes you wonder how it happens.

Karen, the pow-wow sounds fun. Glad you had a good time dancing, and bet you burned some calories too! Your rotation for the week looks fun. Have you gotten any results with this rotation? I'm in my second week of it and do feel leaner/flatter in my mid-section. I did catch a glance of myself in a full length mirror in REI on Saturday (Reno). I was in my black bicycling tights with a jacket over the top. For the first time, I was actually somewhat pleased with how my legs/hips looked. Maybe it was one of those trick mirrors LOL! I haven't lost any more weight and my bf% (digital scale) stays consistently in the 25% range. Still haven't gone down to 24 yet, but that is a short term goal. Will eat my 1300-1500 calories M,T,W and then more (of course) on Thursday.

Have shopping to do today for paint, sponge, etc. for my bedroom/bathroom project. Also need to completely clean this computer/junk room. Yesterday, I cleaned out my linen closet. DH got a bunch of new rags.

Good workouts all,

Jeanette

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!;-)

Wow! The entire week off. That is so cool. Look at all the stuff you'll get done around the house? You'll have to keep us informed -- isn't your bathroom fairly well finished now? But painting it sounds fun.

The 32 mile ride sounds like great family fun, actually -- an entire family affair -- terrific thing to do with each other. It sure has been pretty down this way, as well -- another beautiful day today, too.

Well, I modified the workout today -- I'm still sore from the pow-wow dancing and couldn't envision doing ME. Also, we were still in the middle of negotiating the new contract and so I went for a very long walk -- into the foothills and right up close to the mountains -- and entire hour -- was a good, brisk walk and felt good afterwards -- but now I need to modify my schedule.:+

Rhea, I, too, hope that your back is better soon.

We finally got all the particulars ironed out today for the next few books -- whew! Was some toughing going there, actually...x(

By the way, Jeanette, I have noticed a difference since I started this rotation -- my weight did decrease, and I'm feeling better and better each day. I'm anxious to see what Cathe will do next month since we have the same problem -- holiday eating... My weight has at least returned to where it was before I went on tour -- I still have about 2-3 pounds left to lose to get down to where I should be -- but I'm happy about it all -- and the diet is still going well. When I'm done, I'll probably keep up some of the raw food eating. Makes you feel good.

Anyway, I need to modify the rotation -- so here goes:

Monday: Long walk

Tuesday: IMAX1

Wednesday: ME (this is a substitue for Supersets)

Thursday: Sprint 8 & stretch

Friday: Pyramid premix of upper and lower body plus 20 minute run

Saturday: 20 minute run, drills from KPC, abs from KPC & stretch

Sunday: off

Well, hope you had a wonderful day today, Jeanette. I'm off to the kitchen to start preparing things for the holiday. Can't wait to see the Harry Potter movie, too. We're planning on seeing it on Thanksgiving day.

Great workouts everyone.:7

Hi Karen, Rhea and Natalie:

Did my aero base Spinerval today. This one keeps you in your fat burning range for most of it, no anaerobic efforts. Figured I needed it to go along with the rotation and Thursday's feast! Got 2 phone calls while on the bike. It was 2 of my kids calling to wish me Happy Birthday. They are so sweet! Tomorrow will be Muscle Max. It's been a long time since I've done a full body workout and I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm going to start painting here shortly. Karen, you're right, I did refinish the cabinets in our bathroom, but I never got around to painting the walls/ceiling to go along with the new countertop, so that's what I have to do. I'm also going to do one wall with a sponge effect. However, while I was on the bike this morning, the dogs found the sea sponge (must smell like a sea critter) and they pretty well demolished it so I have to pick one of those up today. I plan on being ready to do the sponging tomorrow.

Karen, so good you've lost those few pounds you put on. Boy, this liver cleanse has been good for you, hasn't it? I just made an appointment for a physical (exam, pap) and will have to make an appoint for mammo and blood draw too. I'm absolutely the worst when it comes to giving blood. My veins collapse, I about pass out, the blood barely trickles into the vial and then completely stops. I've always been like this since high school. Not looking forward to it, but who knows, maybe it'll go better than I think.

Must get going on the painting now.

Oh yes, for Thanksgiving, my 2 dishes to bring are a raspberry-cranberry jello with sour cream swirled in it and a pumpkin dessert that's really good. I'll make those tomorrow night. I've also decided to have my DH let me out of the car for the last 12 miles before my sister's house and I'll ride my road bike the rest of the way. I've always wanted to do the ride up to her house as it's a nice uphill with a decent shoulder for most of it. I'll also burn some calories on the way. I'll bring other clothes to change in once I get there.

Good workouts to all

Jeanette:7

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!;-)

Good grief, Jeanette, was it your birthday today? Wow!:7  :7 Hope it was a really good one. Our birthdays are close together -- can you believe it? Mine was on the 19th -- my brother-in-law's is on the 20th and my favorite cousin in the whole world's birthday is on the 20th, also. My ex's birthday is on the 30th and his wife's birthday is around the 23rd or 24th, I believe. My kids say that November is a tough month for them, with all the birthdays...;)

Happy birthday!

That workout sounds like a really good one, keeping you in the fat burning zone for so long. And it's ME for me tomorrow -- it was IMAX1 for me today -- a workout that I find a little tougher than IMAX2, but nothing like IMAX3. Oh, I got the new videos for my daughter -- I can hardly stand it -- I want to open them so badly and peek at them...}(

Yes, this liver cleanse has really been a good thing -- as a matter of fact, once it's done, I'll probably never go back to the way I was eating before -- plus I'm reading this incredible cook book that's just loaded with all kinds of information.

You have reminded me that I need to go to the doctor for my pap, as well. Never like going to the doctor either, but that would be disconcerting to say the least to have all that happen when blood is drawn. Hope the appointment goes well and you stay alert all through the appointment.:)

Well, I'll be fixing the entire Thanksgiving dinner -- something I almost always do -- that's why I have to start so early -- getting the cranberry sauce ready, then the pies -- then getting everything cut up for the veggies and dressing. And then finally on THE day, the turkey -- but the pay off is that we usually slip off to a movie while the turkey is a-baking. It's going to be hard making pie and keeping my hand out of things.:9 The liver cleanse officially ends on Thanksgiving day.

Well, it sounds like you've got your work cut out for you -- painting and all -- but kinda fun, too -- oh, and I think that's so cool that your hubby is going to let you ride those 12 miles -- it should help to cool down the appetite, hopefully.

Well, have a terrific day and wonderful workouts, everyone.:7

Hi Karen, Rhea & Natalie:

Yes, it was my birthday yesterday, actually won't be celebrating until Thanksgiving when all the family can get together. I told them not to make a cake beings we will have lots of other desserts there. Guess I will have to change my body fat scale as you input your age when you set it up. Interesting about all the November birthdays in your family. I'm the only one in our family.

I've only done Imax1 once before, will have to give it a shot again some time. Don't remember it being as fun as Imax2 and I don't own Imax3 and probably won't ever own it as I really don't like high impact (tuck jumps - yuk)!

Today I did Muscle Max. Really like that workout, but boy I could tell I haven't been doing a lot of leg work lately, but after I got into it, it went okay. Tomorrow I plan on doing the short bike ride up the hill to my sister's house so won't do a workout in the morning. Maybe I'm just lazy, but I just don't like to work out for longer than 1 hour. I read some of these other ladies workouts and I'm amazed at how much time is spent. To each his own, but for now, 1 hour works for me and with the clean eating, it's enough for me to maintain and even drop a bit. I just don't want to burn out. I have to admit, it is nice to do a workout and not have to worry about getting done in time to get ready for work. Have enjoyed my time off this week.

Yesterday, I painted our bathroom and the outer dressing area. Today will paint our bedroom, which I should be able to finish. After I clean up here in a few, I have to go to Walmart and get another gallon of paint as I think I may run out. Also heard that wadded up cheesecloth will work in place of the sponge (and maybe the dogs won't eat it). Tonite will be making my dessert and salad for Thanksgiving. Well, have the day already planned, just need to get in action.

Karen, have a great day and enjoy the preparations, just not too much ;)

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Rhea and Natalie,

Jeanette

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!;-)

Today was a good day. Took my car in to be fixed and it came back all fixed -- though we're a little lighter in the pocketbook. Then worked out to ME -- Jeanette, I found, too, that my legs weren't quite in shape -- I always find ME kicks my butt, but boy I was really pushing it to keep up this time. Oh, well, I keep thinking that I'll get back into shape soon. Even all the arm stuff was kicking me in the #@#%.:) I love that workout, though.

That should be fun, celebrating your birthday at Thanksgiving -- oh, spent my afternoon in the kitchen -- making cranberry sauce and then the pies -- pumpkin and pecan -- the crusts take me forever to make, but at least they're done. I also managed to make a relish, as well as get supper fixed.x( But now I figure all I have left tomorrow is getting the turkey ready, the stuffing, the vegetable dishes and the zucchini bread that I'm making. That's all...

I'm with you, Jeanette, on the 1 hour workouts -- I can barely get those in and even when it goes over 5 or 10 minutes, I'm counting down... My day is filled with so much to do, I really don't have time to do more.

I'm impressed that you got the bathroom done and are centering on the bedroom -- you must work like a little whirlwind. I'm not sure, if it were me, that I'd have all that done -- and certainly not without complaining...

Have fun on your ride to your sister's house tomorrow, Jeanette. I plan to be up early and get in a sprint 8 workout before hitting the kitchen -- gotta get that turkey all fixed up and in the oven so we can scoot out and see Harry Potter.

Have a wonderful holiday Jeanette and Rhea and Natalie -- and anyone else reading this post. Happy Holiday!:7

Good morning Karen, Rhea and Natalie:
Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was good. Our's surely was!!! My plan to ride my bike up the hill to my sister's didn't work out because I thought we were running short on time and I didn't want to sacrifice time with all the family for me to burn some calories. Turns out, I could have and had plenty of time to visit as dinner was about 2 hours late. On the way over (by Lake Almanor), got to stop and do a little geocaching. My grandson (age 6 1/2) found the treasure and was sooo excited!!! After we ate Thanksgiving dinner, 2 of my nephews and the grandson again went out and found another treasure close to my sister's house that I'd printed out and had the coordinates set for in my GPS. They had a great time, this time my nephew (age 5th grade) found the treasure and he was really excited. I'm planning on taking them out for more geocaching around here.

I ate pretty decently for the Thanksgiving meal, but really enjoyed myself waaaay to much on dessert, but no regrets. Also, when I got on the scale this morning, only up 1 pound and body fat was down (go figure). Anyway, back on the clean eating wagon again and did a Spinerval workout (interval training) this morning. Feeling great!

I didn't quite finish my painting, so after going into town to buy a tarp this morning, I will continue on. Should finish this afternoon. It's rainy and gloomy here today. Hopefully, Sunday will be clear as that's our normal bike ride day.

Karen, how was Harry Potter?

Good workouts :7

Jeanette

Good morning all:
Today was High Step Challenge, but I did the HSC timesaver premix (51 minutes) as I kind of overslept and my DH and I need to go to Sears this morning to hit a sale that lasts until 10 a.m. We are buying a new stove and I looked at them yesterday. Kind of exciting, will also be getting a new range hood too.

Still haven't finished painting, just one wall and a little bit of ceiling and some moulding to go. Should finish today, but also will be helping DH put some more metal trim on his shop.

Watched March of the Penguins last night, very good and amazing what they go thru to raise a young one. Also watched The Village. Kind of left me flat at the end.

Hope everyone has a good day today. Sun is out some more today, hopefully won't rain too much. Looking forward to our club bike ride tomorrow morning.

Jeanette

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!;-)

Sorry I've been so long in posting -- I've been thinking about you, though and wondering how your Thanksgiving went. Mine was hectic. There were only four of us here -- me and hubby and brother-in-law and George (grandfather) -- he's not really my grandfather, but in Indian tradition, I call him that. I cooked and cooked and cooked -- my pecan pie (made of barley malt and maple syrup -- instead of processed sugar and corn syrup -- didn't turn out like I expected -- and I'm afraid that after 4 days -- I'm the one who eventually polished it off.;( But the rest of the meal went well -- considering that it took me most of the day to fix it.

Harry Potter was good -- the book is so big (about 800 and so pages) -- that I really couldn't see how they could fit it all in -- but they did a good job -- it's a bit of a "dark" movie -- but it was good -- very much worth seeing.

Then Friday was a shopping day for me -- and I didn't exercise like I should have -- oh, on Thanksgiving I did my Sprint 8 outside -- but I got most of my shopping done on Friday -- pant...pant...

Saturday was Bootcamp for me and today was a walk/jog outside and then spent the day with hubbie -- so it's been a good holiday all in all, but I'll be glad to get back to work tomorrow. I ate way too much dessert (even though I didn't use any processed sugar) -- and went up 2 pounds x(

Okay, so it was great to come here and read your posts Jeanette. What is geocoaching? Is it sort of like a Treasure hunt? It sounds like a lot of fun. I'm so glad that Thanksgiving was a good thing for you, too -- and truth to tell, I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who ate too much dessert -- I also overdid it on carbs, I'm afraid.

I think I saw previews, by the way, for the penguin movie -- it's a movie you're talking about, right? Not sure what The Village is.

Do you have any interest in Pride and Prejudice? The latest version out in theatres is really pretty good -- have you seen the 6 tapes set version, with Colin Firth as Darcy? There's just no beating Colin Firth as Darcy -- but this version was very good and very entertaining.

Other than that, am in the midst of getting Christmas cards done -- and presents wrapped and sent to family out of state and such. Christmas is such a busy time of year -- I'm hoping to get the majority of shopping and wrapping and sending done early this year.

Anyway, I'm sort of lost on the rotation, so while I'm awaiting Cathe's December rotation (to see if I'm going to do it or not), I think I'll just start at the beginning of the November rotation again -- since I now need to lose 2 pounds...if I haven't put on more today...I haven't been exactly great about my eating habits this holiday season...at least not so far...:9

So, let's see that means that tomorrow, Monday, will do KPC

then Tuesday: LowMax (has been a while since I've done LowMax)

Wednesday: HSC -- by then, we'll probably have the next rotation and I'll see if it's one I'll be doing, or if I'll just repeat this rotation, since it really did work well for me.

Have a wonderful day, everyone, and terrific workouts.:7

Good morning Karen, Rhea and Natalie:
Karen, really good to hear you had a good Thanksgiving. Ours was very good too. Sorry the pie didn't turn out like you'd hoped. To tell you the truth, I still have a Raspberry/cranberry/sour cream jello I'm working on. I really like it and only have 1 piece a day. It's almost gone.

I was supposed to do Circuit Max today, but don't own it so I subbed with Cardio & Weights. Also did the step section on 8" step, which does make for a harder workout for me. Yesterday I did a bike ride (34 miles) and it was pretty chilly. Only 1 other person showed but we had a good time and moved along pretty well. When I got back home at 12:30, the temperature was at 38 degrees, but with the right clothes (my new booties, my lobster gloves and balaclava) you can stay comfortable for a while.

I finished painting my bedroom on Saturday. It looks nice. The faux painting on the one wall is pretty subtle. I might add a darker color to it to make it stand out more. Now I need to get some more pictures and decorations. I need to clean out my refrigerator as I have another one given to us waiting to go in. It's newer and has an ice maker. My new stove will come in on Friday so I need to move the old one out and clean underneath it (yuk).

Glad you enjoyed Harry Potter. I'm waiting for the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Think it comes in a couple of weeks. The March of the Penguins is a movie and so is The Village. Pride and Prejudice I haven't heard of (except for the book, never have read it).

You're so good about shopping already, I haven't started at all yet, but that's normal for me. Must start making lists anyway. We may go out and cut a tree next week if the weather isn't prohibitive or snow too deep. Think we may have a gloomy week of weather here.

As far as a rotation, think I will stick with the fat loss one for a while more. Will see if Cathe puts a December one out. Karen, don't worry about the 2 pounds. I always call that turkey fat, comes on fast, and leaves fast too!

Good workouts all! I'm back to work today after a 10 day break from it. :(

Jeanette
:7

Good morning!

So glad to see that everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Mine was just fine. Ate too much as usual, but not all bad stuff, mainly too much cheese before the dinner and just wasn't hungry when dinner was ready. I spent the entire week cooking and cleaning. Didn't get any workouts in until yesterday because of time and my darn cold.

Well, gotta run, boss just came in...

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!;)

It's really nice to see that everyone had a good Thanksgiving. And great to hear from you again, Rhea! Sorry to hear you've got a cold going, but I'm sure you'll get over it soon.

Jeanette, I can't wait to see The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe either. I've read both that book and the Magician's Nephew. Probably The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe will be our Christmas movie.

Oh, if you've never seen any of The Pride and Prejudice movies, this is a good one -- there's a long PBS version with Colin Firth, but this movie is a really good one. Bet you'd enjoy the book, too. My older daughter loves those stories.

Well, at least the pecan pie is gone and I was able to have a fairly sugar free day today -- there was some ketchup on the meatloaf tonight... Oh, by the way, what is balaclava? I'm not familiar with what that is.

34 mile bike ride -- I'm continually in awe of these rides that you do, Jeanette. They really do sound like fun, as well as good exercise. And you did Cardio and Weights on an 8" step? Wow! I've only done that a few times -- I'm still -- believe it or not -- getting my strength back -- and gradually it's getting better.

Did KPC today. I really like that workout -- and have LowMax scheduled for tomorrow -- I haven't done that one in a while, so this will be good. You know, I may stay with the fat-burning rotation, as well. It really has been a good one for me.

A new refrig and stove? These are exciting things -- except cleaning out under the stove:eek: -- that can't be all that exciting -- actually I think it might take a bit of confront...;-)

So glad that you got the bathroom completed -- I bet it's pretty -- well, I need to get some things done around my house, as well.

I'm usually last-minute-shopper, too -- but this year, it's possible that we might not be home for Christmas -- and if that's true, I will need to get all my Christmas things done ahead of time -- it's really the only reason why I'm getting it done so early.

Well, again, tomorrow is LowMax -- but I may not do it on the 8" step -- we'll see -- I might opt for the 6" step -- and work up to 8".

Wow, the end of the month is creeping up on me and reminds me that I need to pay attention to bills.x( Sigh...

Okay, so it's off to bed for me. Happy workouts, everybody -- and have a terrific day.:7

Hi Karen, Rhea and Natalie (hope you're out there!):

Today was GS Legs Timesaver (49 minutes). Good workout. I love the bandwork on the floor for this one.

Cleaning out under the stove was very scary, but it's done. The new one should be here on Friday. Also cleaned the new (used) refrigerator so that's done.

Thursday I scheduled a mammogram and a blood draw  . I'm really curious as to how my blood is since I eat more proteins and cheeses now than I used to. I had my blood checked about 5 years ago and the cholesterol levels were so good, they weren't even on the chart for normal. They told me keep doing what I was doing. All that was before I was exercising regularly and watching what I eat.

Karen, the bathrooms aren't that pretty as they have no decorations in them. I'm waiting for the right things to put in them.

Fat burning rotation, I think I will stay there too, unless something else comes up, but with Christmas get togethers coming up...

Have good workouts today.

Jeanette

Good morning!

Hmm, nothing spectacular here but running around. I had to find someplace to put on my studded tires yesterday because of the lovely snow. I couldn't get it done here in Susanville. I would have just skipped going to Reno, but had to take DH to the airport, so didn't have a choice. I ended up leaving work early and popping over at a Les Swab in Reno. Boy were they fast, only took 15 minutes (I was on the list and got there just as my name came up) Was great and a much safer drive on the way home.

I'm goint to try and get a workout in this eveing. No DH at home, so I can do what I want. However, my house is a complete disaster. DH tries to help with the laundry, but I have discovered that his brand of helping isn't really help. I keep finding clean piles of clothing to fold, and more to iron since they've been sitting!

I really want to see the Chronicles of Narnia too. I hope that they show it here when it opens. I really like the HP4 movie. Since I re-read the book just before, I could see why they tweaked a few things to be able to make the main part of the movie fit in 150 minutes. Very enjoyable and I can't wait to have it on DVD.

Well, gotta run and try to catch up here at work. Talk to y'all later and have a wonderful day.

Hi Jeanette & Rhea & Natalie!;-)

You both seem so productive -- this is good. Had a good laugh, Rhea, over your husband's idea of "help." That's so cute. Glad that you're able to get a workout in this evening -- I notice the new rotation is a TimeSaver rotation -- what a good idea with Christmas just around the corner. I think I'll stay with the Fat Burning rotation and do a TimeSaver on those days when I just can't fit in anything else.

Yes, I'm really anxiously awaiting the Chronicles of Narnia, as well. And I loved the HP4 movie, as well, though I didn't read the book before -- really did think they did a good job getting it all in there. Has anyone seen the Chicken Little movie -- believe it or not, that looks like it might be cute.

Again, I'm in awe, Jeanette, over what you accomplish at home. It probably would have taken me 2 days to clean out under the stove, let alone clean out the old refrigerator. Your workout sounded like a good one. Oh, and at least you have the basics down for the bathroom, now you have the fun part -- decorating it...

Well, did LowMax today and realized that I've only done that workout once before -- also realized why I only use the 6" step -- I'd forgotten that for whatever reason, some muscle in my upper back gets strained whenever I work out on the 8" step x( -- I remembered this about 1/3 of the way through the workout:eek:

Sort of forget what's on the agenda for tomorrow -- but I think I'm going to make it a workout that's not more than 60 minutes long -- so rarely do I have time for anything over that 60 minute time clock.

Well, I think that I had HSC on the agenda for tomorrow, but seeing as how it's a 70 minute workout, more of less, I think I might switch the workout to either HSTA or Bootcamp. Or maybe I'll do the shortened version of HSC -- I think that's only about 51 minutes or so.

Anyway, hope you both have a tremendous day tomorrow and terrific workouts.

Hi Karen and Rhea:

Rhea, glad you got the tires. My DH went to Big O (new store, where Sears was) and was going to get tires. Well the owner knows DH is pretty handy and asked him to look at the compressor and see if he could fix it. He did and the owner gave DH a great deal on very slightly used studded tires ($150 for all 4, mounted and balanced) so we were happy.

Yeah, my DH tries to do laundry but he doesn't fold, just piles them up and it drives me nuts so I'd rather he not do laundry.

Looks like we're all looking forward to the Narnia movie!

Karen, I thought of you during my workout today. It was supposed to be Step, Jump & Pump, but I don't have it so subbed it with the Viper from the Terminator DVD. You would really like it as you do 1 C&W, 1 interval & blast from Imax2 and then Upper Body work from ME, repeat 4 times. I wasn't able to finish due to time, but I got the gist of it and did most of the upper body work. It was really fun and the time flew by. Aren't DVD's wonderful for skipping ahead so we can finish the workout in our time?

Karen, I hope your back is okay. You know, I've been fighting an upper back pull for a couple of weeks now, getting better and better. Hardly noticable now. Enjoy HSC or whatever you decide on.

Must go now. I was able to pretty much just come home and relax last night, just did dishes, fed animals, read paper, etc. Was nice.

Good workouts!

Jeanette
