Okay, yesterday I was in Reno, so rest day. Today was a massage, so another rest day since I don't want to bungle up a perfectly good massage.

Tomorrow will depend on what type of time I end up with.....probably Jillian Michael's no more trouble zones; she's such a bully. But it is a good sweaty workout for the short time that it is.

Hope all is well with everyone.

When is that Insanity workout coming Janie? I've been a little intrigued by it, but I have so many workouts and I'm building a house soon, so i shouldn't spend the moulah.
 
Darn it, no workout today. Got back from court way too late and then I had a meeting at 7 p.m., plus I had to get a cake baked for tomorrow. I'll have to work extra hard tomorrow. I might even do Step, Jump and pump again or Cardio Collectibles or Step Blast, hmm, so many to chose from.....:eek::p

Hope you are all doing well.

Yesterday I got very demanding and made the time to do Totally Hot Cardio before all the company came over. I really needed it, it felt great. Not sure what today has in store. I'm thinking Step, Jump and Pump again or Cardio and Weights.

Thank you for starting a November thread.

I just got the Insanity today. I'll be reviewing it all day. Today is a rest day for me so, I can spend a lot of time drooling or "YIKES" What did I do? Any hoo, going to enjoy the day.

Don't you just love it, when there are so many great workouts to choose from? Never heard of Totally Hot Cardio. Will look it up.

My GERD is giving me HAVOC, and made an appt. to see the doc Monday. I think it is an ulcer. Looked it up on the internet, and it sure sounds like I do. Let you know how it goes.

Sorry for not posting regularly, just haven't been feeling well.

Good Afternoon!

Am back from Florida -- actually I arrived on Sunday after an all night drive -- over 24 hours -- trying to get home for a memorial for a friend -- I didn't make it -- was 3 hours late -- but I tried. Did go and visit his wife and daughter, however, so that was good.

Am unpacked and have been exercising except on the drive home -- just on the road so much -- but now am back to exercising regularly.

Rhea, don't have a lot of extra cash right now, but I've been looking at those Jillian Michaels videos longingly. I like short, sweaty workouts. It's all I can do right now -- are the short ones. And thanks for starting the thread and keeping it going.

Janie, sure hope you're feeling better. I notice today you were working out, so hopefully all is okay.

Today for me was Total Body Sculpting -- 27 min workout that gets the job done in a short time -- and if you go a little heavy, it's quite a workout. Then at night I get a workout walking the dogs.;)

Publishing isn't going real great for me right now -- with all I've been doing, I haven't promoted the last 2 books like I usually do and my stats are down -- and stats are everything in this business. So we'll see...

I'm so glad you are back safe and sound KK. Sorry to hear about your stats, the economy really is in the tank.

However, those Jillian Michaels are at Walmart for 9.99. I was surprised to see them there.

How's that GERD Janie? I've been having some issues lately too, but mine is more lower.:eek: Darn system. I'm back to trying and getting different types of probiotics in me.

Did only half of a workout today. My mood got spoiled during it, so I went to the Casino and watched the 49er game (wasn't on our cable here, so I went and had an indian taco and a glass of wine)

I will make up for the workout tomorrow (I did get in about 30 minutes and burned 252 calories, so not a real slug today)

Janie has Insanity made you insane yet? I still have not done my preview copy. I really should try it, but I get scared off of it when I start it up...

KK - bet you are glad to be home.

Well, still working out pretty much every day. I guess I won't be able to budge much of this excess weight before Mexico (since we leave this Friday!) Oh well, I'll get control of it for the summer then. In the meantime, I'm just continuing to workout and get that eating under control.

Good Morning!

Busy, busy weekend for me -- mostly helping my husband with his business. No workout for me -- just amazingly busy. Will have to change that, however. My weight is up -- due to my snacking on potato chips on the drive back. And once it's up, it's a bear to get it to come down again.

Wow, Rhea, this is so great that you're working out everyday. I'm going to get back into that.

You know, I'd go to WalMart to pick up that thing if it weren't for the fact that I so dislike WalMart and pretty much most of its practices -- about 80% imports and some quite tainted from China -- while Americans go without, etc. When I lived in Vermont, the city of Williston tried and tried and tried to keep WalMart out of their area -- but WalMart was so persistent and had so much money to throw around, heaven forbid -- that eventually it was built. And it did exactly what it has done in the past -- put the Ma and Pa stores out of business.

But thanks for telling me about it -- you know, I should go and purchase it anyway -- just to have those short, intense workouts -- I'm afraid the short ones are still on my agenda.

Hi all,

Today Joey and I did Meso 3 week 1 disc 27 Shoulders, Biceps & Triceps. I love doing this one, seems I grow and use heavier weight every time. Love that!

Rhea, I love Insanity so far. I can see how people would get Insane if they did it 6 days out of the week. But fortunatly I'm doing them 3 times a week instead. Love the The STS Series and Insanity together. And can't wait to do STS again but this time using the STS Cardio. My body is going think "What Is Going On?" LOL:eek: Don't be scared, just do what you can and be careful at it. My middle name is modification, or did you know that already.:rolleyes:

Have a great time in Mexico. I love that place. When you leave on Friday, think of us on your warm Sunny days. LOL

KK, Glad you are home safe. Will you be going to Miami periodically, or is this the last visit?

What does your hubby do? I forgot.:eek: You are so sweet to help him. Yes, you will catch up on your exercises, you always do. Good for you.

Today was Total Body Sculpting -- you know it's a short workout and so it works in well with my schedule -- but it really does work you out pretty good if you go a little heavy. But the time is so perfect.:D

Janie, is the Insanity series cardio or anaerobics that it fits so well with STS -- just wondering -- and how long are the workouts?

My husband is a contractor -- I'm helping him with mailings and such. Yes,I'll be going back to Florida periodically, but only twice a year or so. And never for so long.:)\

It's so cool that you and your DH workout together. Wow!

Rhea, Goodness! Mexico this Friday. Sounds a little like heaven. Have a wonderful and a safe trip -- and have fun!

I did Step Blast today. Whew, I'm a bit pooped. My feet were hurting towards the end darn it. And I have new shoes? I guess New Balances are just not for me, I'll have to go back to Rykas, they last longer then one workout!

Janie - I can't wait for the STS Cardio to come out either. I'm going to start up STS after Thanksgiving. I'm even thinking of doing the Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle challenge that Tom Venuto put out there. I need something to energize and push my attitude right out the door.

Well, I'm off to figure out something good for us for dinner. Don't want to cook too much as I don't want leftovers in the fridge.
 
Workout today was Insanity Cardio Recovery. It was like a cardio yoga. Loved it, but man it was hard work. Yes!

KK, I do that one a lot too. It is a great workout when using heavy weight. The Insanity series is a lot of stuff. There are days like today, when it's like an aerobic yoga, and others that just knock your socks off. Great way to workout challenging the body and confusing it all at the same time. Oh, the workouts in the first 2 weeks are about 30-35ish min. and the last two weeks are almost an hour long, 50is min.

Enjoy Florida when you go. I would.

Rhea, Step blast is hard! Good for you. As soon as I get STS Cardio, I will start up STS series again, but will use Meso 3 again. I want definition.

Love Tom Venuto, I have his Ebook. Very informative.

Haven't worked out yet today,but plan to do cardio only from IMAX3 today -- love the music in that workout -- especially interval 10.

Rhea, I agree with Janie. Step Blast is not an easy workout -- I've tried the NB,but went back to Ryka's also -- the Ryka's just fit my feet so much better. They've never hurt, which is interesting. And they last a good long while, also.

Do you leave tomorrow? Gee, have fun.

Janie, wow, sounds like an insanity seris, all right. I can't wait for STS cardio either. I tend to do more cardio than weights and I particularly like anaerobics -- not only cause it's so good for the heart, but also cause it is supposed to stimulate the good ole HGH inthe body naturally -- and at my age nowadays, this is a plus.

Did Insanity Core Cardio & Balance. Finished it with no modifications. It was so hard. I was slower than the people following Shaun but I did it. YES!

Have a good time doing IMax 3. You go girl! LOL That is also a hard DVD.

Today was the blasts only of IMAX3 -- minus blast number 5 & 7 -- my least favorite of the blasts -- good workout -- tough but only about 30 minutes or so. So that kinda goes along with the step only part of IMAX3 that I did yesterday.

Janie, your workout schedule looks tough, tough, tough -- but really good -- looks like your hitting all the different kinds of muscle fibers with your workouts, which is so good for you, so I've been told (or have read).

Well, today is my birthday -- not that I'm excited about it -- don't look forward to birthdays anymore, I must admit. But one thing is good -- I should get extra time with the DH tonight.:D:eek: Am really looking forward to that.

Getting ready for Thanksgiving, then need to think about Christmas, since our family and their children, will have it at our house this year. It's been years since I put up the tree. It will be nice.
