KK, March Check-In

Hi all,
Yesterday was a rest day for me, today was STS Disk 7B. Good workout, plus my 2nd time doing it so it's easier. After work was a bike ride around the loop, then sewing at Mom's.

Rhea, did you have a nice time in the city? How's your DH liking his job? Any job prospects for you? I purchased fabric for a couple more small quilting projects. Having a great time with it. Tomorrow will be golf in the afternoon. Friday I went to Mt. Huff golf course in Crescent Mills. It was nice.

Janie, are you enjoying the Meso 2 workouts? I hear they are very tough. Do they have a fun factor?

Karen, I don't have Total Body Sculpting, but nice to know a person can use heavier weights for it. Keep plugging along, you are almost done!

Tomorrow will be a cardio and abs.

Good Evening!

Yesterday was a rest day for me, too. Just too busy, so the rest of the week I'll just have to get the workouts done. Was hoping to do another workout tonight, but no go -- I really have too much to do before bed and I have to get those 8 hours in order to finish up here. Am starting to have fun now.:D

Janie, well, I ordered some of that toothsoap. Once I start on it I'll let you know -- I was interested because when I was sick I was popping these sugar-coated cough drops and my gums really were aversely affected, and so I'm looking for something that might help it heal. Your workouts look great.

Jeanette, love how you and Rhea are so creative with your sewing. Love seeing your products -- and your workouts look terrific. I'm almost done now. It's getting to be fun now.

Rhea, so glad you're back all well and rested and ready to go again. Hope you DH loves his new job and hope your sewing goes well, also.

Good evening!

Ended up taking a rest day yesterday. Just got too busy and was home late and was pooped. Today was LC#2 at lunchtime. I love being able to workout at lunch time. That is the best time for working out for me. I have great energy and my blood sugar is always good. The only drawback is that sometimes my energy goes away around late afternoon or if I sit still too long and get stiff.

Tomorrow is Friday! whoo hoo. Looks like more weather coming though. Darn it. Nice during the week and snow on the weekend? That is just not fair. At least I'll be able to get the house clean if I am not too lazy. Might have some trial prep to do to, but after starting it today, there is not really a whole lot of prep in this one since the police reports are so sparse. Hard to ask pointed, yes or no answers when you really don't have a complete picture of what the witness saw. Darn it. I'll be winging it in trial, all dependent on what the person says on that day.

Well, back to whatever I need to finish up this evening. Might just have to veg. Have a great rest of the evening everyone!

Eck!:eek: Winging it in court doesn't sound easy, but you've probably got so much experience that you'll do wonderfully, Rhea.

I like working out at lunch, also, but mornings are still my most favorite time. It's done and I can then concentrate on whatever else I have to do that day. Otherwise, I go through the day worrying I'll not get a workout in or planning it all day long.:confused:

Today was 1/2 of HSC -- a really challenging workout considering I'm only doing 1/2 hour shifts right now. I so wanted to get in a workout tonight, but it didn't work out. So much to do!

Janie and Jeanette, hope you are both doing really well.

Tomorrow, the plan is the last 1/2 of HSC and then on Saturday, I plan cardio only from Bootcamp 4DS and probably the 40 minute circuit from one of the easier workouts -- don't remember right off hand the name of it.

I've been busy sewing and such in the evenings, not gotten on the computer much. I'll post more tomorrow night.

I'm fine and continuing with STS, on Disk 8B right now.

Good Morning,

Did Vol.2, 30 min. of Cardio Coach. I sweated like a pig. It was great. Burned about 150+ calories.

I'll come back later for what I did in STS. In the meantime I need to do some personals.

Jeanette, I'm so glad you are enjoying STS. I am too, and truly believe it's working. How can it not? Right?

KK, You are doing great workouts. At least you are doing them. I probably wouldn't. I kinda find any excuse not to. Well, sometimes I do. Proud of you. I'm looking forward to what you think about the soap toothpaste. It sounds like the only scientific input was his own. Let me know how it goes. I'm always skeptical until I get more info. Hope you don't mind.

Rhea, Hope you enjoyed your rest day. I love mine when it's available to me. You are doing very well on your workouts, I see. My workouts are in-between morning and lunch. Sounds like your prep work is the best you can do. You'll be fine in trial. Do what you do best.

Talk with you all later today, and will report what I did with STS.

Good evening!

Wow Janie you are doing so great on those STSs! Don't you feel strong after doing an awesome weight workout? I do, well, at least for about 30 minutes until the fatigue sets in and I can't lift my arms or stand up! LOL

Just finished doing the Lean Intervals and a ab workout called "i've got abs". Boy if after mastering the moves on that ab workout and doing them in good form all the way through, you don't have a six pack, then forget it! That was a tough ab workout.

Karen - you look like you are working hard on your workouts too. Squeezing in any time is important, even if it is just for a mental break. As Chalene says....I find that if I don't make time to workout...I'm just in a bad moooood.. I guess it is hard to put down how she sounds... she say the word mood like a moo from a cow with a d on the end.

Jeanette - you are the sewing goddess now huh? I've been frustrated with my king size duvet cover, so I have not been sewing a whole lot. I am going to tackle it tonight though.

Well, off to dinner and sewing with some sort of entertainment on the boob tube.

I keep forgetting to record my ab work the same day I do the STS series. Shoot I've done them, it was hard work and should be, and will be, from now on, recorded. Thanks for reminding me.

You are right, I feel fantastic after doing the workouts. The fatigue is a great way to know you did a good job for yourself. Love to get your ab workout, sounds like what Joey and I need.

I'm still awed and inspired by you, you have done remarkably well this year.

Hi ladies,
Just thought I'd catch up before doing some sewing. DH and I took the dogs out to the desert and we had a nice time relaxing. I fell asleep on a blanket out there, he said for about an hour. Guess I was tired.

This morning was KPC Cardio Conditioning with abs. Yesterday was STS Disk 8B. I'm looking forward to Disk 9B tomorrow. Love it when I have plenty of time to work out. Oh well, only another 4 years until retirement (hopefully).

Rhea, you are doing well with CLX. How much longer on that rotation? I've been busy having to remove puckers from the back of my quilt. I'm doing it different next tim

Janie, is Meso 2 less fun for you? I'm looking forward to longer rests:D. I think I need a rest week soon too. I've had 2 comments now on me losing weight, but I don't weigh myself so I don't know. Maybe it's cuz I'm growing my hair a little longer and my face looks thinner? Oh well, the compliments are nice.

Karen, do you just have one more week left in Florida? You are one driven woman! You must be a whirlwind all day long. How's Georgie? I'm so glad you left that other apartment. I was worried about you.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. We're supposed to get some more cold, wet weather in the next couple days, then back to nice weather for the upcoming week/weekend. I have 5 days in a row off so need to plan something fun!

It looks like all of you are really doing well on your workouts. Janie, I'm awed by what you're doing. Geez, I can't believe -- I just typed a bunch of stuff and it was all deleted somehow. Goodness!

Today was 4DS cardio only -- it's a 35 minute workout and almost entirely anaerobics -- really like it. Hope that Cathe does more of these, also. Hope to do SJP 40 minute workout tomorrow -- some cardio and weights. Then onto another week.

Jeanette, there's so much data to get through and I keep under estimating how long it's going to take. I thought I'd be done by now, but I'm not. I'm really trying hard to get through this -- and it will be soon,but I just don't really know how long. I would love for it to be no more than 30 minutes. Georgie's doing great!

Janie, you are awesome. Inspired by you, Janie. I ordered the tooth soap and here's what I'll tell you so far. I've only used it one day. I got it because my gums were not doing well after I'd had a week of illness and had a sugar-coated cough drop in my mouth all the time during that week. Suddenly, I had nerves popping up when I was chewing and it was painful and so I got the toothsoap to see if it might help. I've only used it one day, but already, I had no pain from the exposed nerves at all today while I was eating, so I think it is a good thing.

The other thing is that my teeth are squeeky clean. They look squeeky clean. We'll see what happens as I continue to use it. But so far the results are incredible.

Rhea, I so love Chalene -- and I so agree with her. A day without exercise just doesn't sit right with me. Your workouts look great too.

Okay, time for me to get to bed. Have a super rest of the weekend.:D

Just polished off the second week of the Lean Phase. Two more weeks and then I can start STS. I can't wait. I love CLX, so I don't know how I'm going to be doing this. I think I'll be mixing it up some for a while and then maybe straight STS for a while with different cardio between. I am missing some of my other workouts.

Oh, Rhea, I just saw that STS cardio and it looks like something I'd really like -- the price again puts me off. But it really does look like something I'd really use and really enjoy. I don't know how I can manage it -- I've gone through so much money here being away from home that I will probably find it hard to justify. But I would so love to have it -- at least it's not as cost inhibitive as the STS weights. At least for me.

So glad you'll be starting the STS series soon -- it looks incredible.

Okay, so let's see...again, I have to double up on workouts and do 30 minutes a day until I finish up here.

Today I did SJP hi/lo weights -- it was a 45 minute workout which was really too long for me -- but I figure in the future I can double that up.

My plan is to alternate anaerobics, weights and cardio all week long with some circuit workouts in there, as well. 30 minutes is about all I can do right now, unfortunately. But am hoping to be done soon.

I'm on the practical side of this now -- putting to use what I've learned. So that's what I'm doing. Hope to be done soon.

Good evening! Just finished the Lean Circuit #1. Nice and fried arms. That one is so tough on the biceps. But at least I'm using even 10 lbs at the end. I might see some definition one of these days.

Hope everyone else is doing great. Got to go stack wood. Fingers are crossed that I don't drop any of those logs on my foot (more arm work you know:eek:)

That cardio workout does look good. It's one I'd use alot -- you know the 20-30 minute workouts at night before I go to bed -- that would be great.

Tomorrow, I'm planning more of the Total Body Sculpting with heavy weight. The time is so right. Today was blasts only from IMAX3.

Hi Guys,

Had a busy couple of days. Went to the dentist and had teeth cleaned, shopping at Costco for clean food, getting ready for my grandson to come into this world. Any day now! Didn't even have time for exercising.

Tuesday will be Disk 19, will let you know how it goes.

I'm so excited about the STS Cardio Series coming up. It's a dream come true.

KK, I'm fine, just really busy for some reason. It's OK now. Have lots of time for my normal stuff now. But, anytime now, I'll be busy again, except this time will stay a week with my new grandson and help his new mommy and daddy get settled in. Good exercising routines.

Rhea, hope you will be safe with that wood stacking. Your workouts are great too. Can't belief how well we all are doing on them.

Jeanette, How ya doing girl? Hope everything is good.

Today I did Fat Burn Challenge. Tough 30 minute workout. Now I'm starving for dinner! lol

Karen - I should be done with this rotation in two weeks. Then I can add the STS to it. I really like these workouts, so I'm going to be subbing in things along the way. I'll probably love STS too and have tough choices to make.

Well, off to dinner, stomach is growling!
