KK April Check-In

Good Afternoon!

I forgot to post last night.

Anyway, yesterday was SJP step only and weights and then today was CTX Power Circuits cardio & abs only. about 45 minutes each.

Sorry that I've been absent so long. After I finish this deadline I'll be able to post more. :D

Did Burn Intervals today. Started up the CLX series again. Just the right amount of time for me and I'll probably add some other workouts during one of the rest days.

KK, It's OK not to post everyday. Sometimes it just can't be helped. I shouldn't complain about where everyone is. You all are off doing important things, there is life outside of these forums. LOL:p I'm just glad I don't have any deadlines like you. Having said that, I know you must enjoy the books you wright.

Rhea, Can't beat the CLX series. Good for you. Sounds like a good plan to me.

Did Disc 27 Shoulders, biceps and triceps. Great workout and improved yet again. I know I'll to hit a plateau soon, I can feel it. But will continue enjoying the ride so far.

Janie, I have them! I was able to get to my box today and there was this wonderful package waiting for me. Do you have a timeline on them?

I'm only a month from deadline. Would you mind if i were to do this after the deadline? If you have a timeline on it, I understand and I'll try to get to it sooner.

Rhea, glad you found those are the right time. My workouts are running about 40 minutes now -- 10 minutes more than they were in Florida -- but I might put them back as I really have to get this book done.

Anyway, today was ... what was it? Oh, yeah. Anaerobics only from Bootcamp 4DS -- 34 minutes -- a good time for me.

Well I'm off to bed -- am going to try to get up at 5 to work. My life seems to be going from one crisis to another -- and the only way I can visualize getting time to write is to go away -- which of course I'm not going to do -- but perhaps if I get up early before life starts hammering away at me -- that might work.

KK, So glad the soap found you. No time limit. I don't expect my book to be finished for awhile yet. Take your time, I would never interfere with your time schedule. Anaerobics for 34 min. is great. You know that, right? Hope things calm down in your life soon.

Did The Wedding Video for 25 min. That's all I could do. Shoot. Oh well.

Karen - hope you are doing good today. You will make your deadline, I know you will.....

Janie - great job on STS. I just was not able to get into it this time. I might try again at a later time, but I'm actually thinking of selling them if I don't get into them next time. I might enjoy them during the winter when I have time to hike out all that equipment. I think that is the biggest drawback for me, set up time.

Did Burn #3 today. It was quite fun even though it is muggy with the swamp cooler going. The thunder has started up outside. I sure hope we finally get some rain with it.

Have a great weekend everyone! I'll try to pop in and at least bump us up. And Monday between Janie and I, maybe we could start a "june" thread since this one is getting long in the tooth. If I remember Sunday, I'll start it up.

It was Push & Pull today -- about 44 minutes, which is a good time and then tonight I did step only from IMAX3 -- about 30 minutes or so. Have to do something to get rid of these extra 2 lbs that are over the highest weight I can tolerate.:confused:

Worked from morning till evening on the book but didn't accomplish as much as I had hoped so tomorrow instead of touring the different bookstores, I'm going to work straight on the book. Have a busy weekend planned with a friend of mine leaving town to go home to the reservation and one of the people who work with my husband has a birthday -- for both things I'm committed to making cakes -- from scratch -- so it'll be a busy weekend for me.

Rhea, I understand about the equipment and all. It's hard for me, too, to drag out so much equipment. I do think the STS Cardio is going to be fun though. Yes, I was thinking the same thing about starting a new thread on this. :)

Janie, I can't wait to get into the package and see what it is you would like me to do -- so busy on this deadline. But I will do it -- you have a terrific product.

Well, am off to bed -- a new schedule for me -- to bed somewhat early and up early to work. Have a super weekend, everyone!:D

Rhea, I think STS seems to help me, but it is not for everyone. Do try to give it another whirl though, as you say. For me I use setting up the equipment as part of the routine. Just makes it easier on my mind. Also, I have two rooms dedicated for exercising, so most of it is already done. I know, I'm very lucky. Since it's only Joey and I here and no children, we can set up house however we want. We use the family room as our exercise room (weights, bands...) and theater and the extra bedroom for the Smith machine, treadmill, stairclimber and store our extras stuff there for later routines. Our living room has our computers in it with one lounging chair because the computers take up so much room. Also have book shleves and closet for coats and jackets. So it's full. I love how we can set up the house so that it is convenient for us. What is a swampcooler? Is it like an air conditioner? I love it when it thunders outside and it is warm.:rolleyes:

KK, Great workouts. I know how it is to lose those last few pounds. You'll do it though. Hate when I work so hard and don't get a lot accomplish. Hang in there kido. Enjoy your weekend at the reservation. Wish I could be there just to enjoy a different kind of weekend. Watch out for those cakes!LOL!:eek:

I'll be doing back and chest today. And possible use the Smith machine for extra exercises.

Good evening!

No workout for me today since I slaved in the yard most of it. Too yucky and dirty to workout before a shower and I was not going to shower and then workout.

So I'll have to squeeze a short one in tomorrow.

Looks like everyone is doing great.

Janie - swamp cooler is like an air conditioner...uses water and air blown on the water to cool the house. Humidity is great in the house in the summer up here in the high desert country.
