Hi Janie! Hi Rhea!

Today was my day off -- yesterday I did the Total Body Sculpting with heavy weight -- the time on that workout is perfect for me nowadays. I'm back to 30 minute workouts if I can.

Janie, I'll email you my address again. I know how that goes.

Rhea, hope you got a lot done with the nice weather. It's nice here -- I'm assuming it's nice where you are, too

Hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was okay, a little disappointing, but it was okay. Hope to get back into things tomorrow. Did my 10 pages today so I'm happy with that.

Don't know what my workout schedule will be for next week. I need to do only 30 minute workouts this next week. Hopefully after that I can settle in and do more. Have a super day everyone!:D

Wow, today was a rest day from exercise but not a rest day -- I've been going since 7 AM this morning -- not enough sleep last night -- promo and more promo and more promo. Goodness!

I think I'm about done with promo for now -- I have another blog day coming on Wednesday and then that's it -- except for weekends when I have to go to bookstores. Again, Goodness!

Tomorrow is my DH's B-day and so I made a cake tonight so as to not have to make it tomorrow.:confused: Really want to get some writing done. And exercise.

Anyway, it's short workouts for me until this promo stuff is done and then it's write like the wind. I'll look for your package, Janie!

Hi Rhea! Hope all is well with you. I've noticed a Low Carbers post -- is this from the old FitPrime site by any chance. I've thought about looking at it, just don't have the time right now -- plus, I don't really eat very lo carb any more -- sort of, but not like I use to.

Yep, Karen - we had to move the low carb forum over here since the Fitness site was having difficulties.

Still not back at workouts yet. I had an attack of either allergies or a cold or both. Not too bad, but just enough where I was exhausted and mainly wanted to sleep. So I did and now I'm getting back. I can feel the flubber in my belly though, I really want to get back tomorrow. Today was golf and it was good start.

Wow! Lost my entire post once again. Don't know why that happens. Goodness! In a nutshell today was anaerobics only from 4DS Bootcamp -- tomorrow is sculpting and each night I jump around on the rebounder. Ate way too much birthday cake tonight -- it was very rich -- made the icing with nothing but pure butter.

Janie, thanks for telling me it is coming cause I'll look for it in my box -- otherwise I don't always check it. How are your workouts going?

Rhea, I was wondering about that lo carb posting -- it's the original reason I came to Cathe, also, was that my posts there kept getting lost -- or I couldn't post at all. I might look at it here and there if I can ever get time to think of anything else but work.

Rhea, So sorry to here you are having problems with allergies or a cold or both. I here what you mean in wanting to get back to exercising, but do take care not to do it to soon. You don't want it to come back in full force. Just listen to your body, I know you know that. I bet golfing was fun for you. Take care, OK?

KK, Oh, I hate that when it happens to me. Why does it do that anyway? You are doing great on your workouts. Good for you. I ate too much too the last couple of day. I think I've gained weight, but I don't want to weigh myself.

Will be doing 4DS Biceps and Triceps and the cardio that goes along with it. I forgot which one it is at the moment.

Jumped back into workouts today with a new short one...Level one of Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. It was fun and just the right amount for the heat and my energy level. Had a bit of trouble with the blood sugar today. Did not have my normal breakfast, so lacked the proper protein along with the carbs. That combined with the caffeine did a BIG number on me. I have not have that type of crash for a long, long, time. Better now, but still a little wobbly. Probably need water too.

Well, I'm off to hit a bucket of balls. Hope it is not too hot out there.

Oh, Rhea, I hear you on that blood sugar thing. Mine can go low, also. Are you okay now? If you were off to hit a bucket of balls, I'm hoping that things are better. By the way, you might look into cinnamon -- as well as chromium and vanadyl sulfate -- you can do some searches on them and see what you come up with. Might help. Not recommending here -- just throwing something out there to possibly look into.

How did you like the Jillian workout -- I looked and looked and looked at that and almost bought it -- but money is tight and so I bought something else instead. But the time on those seemed perfect for me -- what do you think?

Karen - 30 day shred was pretty good. Level one was easy, but my calves are sore today! I don't know if it was from the Shred or a combination with the golfing. I'm going to stick to it for a while since it is only 20 minutes.

Well, off to workout before it gets too hot in the living room.

Hi Janie! No no diabetes, but just have problems when I eat too many carbs and no protein and too much caffeine. DOMS is nice, but it is hard to walk...lol. It was from the workout; I did Level 1 again and about died with the calves. They are a bit better now, but I'm going to bump it up to level two tomorrow, so hopefully they will behave better and not "talk" at me so much.

Rhea, thanks for the info on the shread and Jillian -- I looked at it hard cause of the time factor, but with limited finance, decided to keep doing Cathe and shorten up the workouts by doing it in halves. So far it's been working.

Like you, I can have trouble with my blood sugar levels though I'm not diabetic -- don't have it much anymore -- I guess cause i know that I can and can't eat, but I do understand what you're talking about.

Janie, the STS sounds great to me. BYW, can't wait for the STS cardio -- I bet it's going to be a honey. I'll be checking my box this weekend, Janie, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Well, am off to bed -- hopefully I'll get more production done tomorrow -- only 2 pages today. Deep sigh.

Probably will have to take today as a rest day. Every time I sit, my calves tighten up so much I almost cannot walk!! I look rather funny until they loosen back up. So, just golf today with a lot of walking around.

Hope you can get some more pages in Karen.

KK, I bet the rebounder is a lot of fun. Doing half an exercise is better than none. Good for you. I can't wait for the STS Cardio tool It's going to be something.

Warm up; Flat Bench Press 35# barbell (2 sets) 12 reps

Flat Bench Press 55#'s (4 sets) 8 reps
Barbell Rows 60#'s (4 sets) 8 reps
Chest Flies, flat bench 25#'s dumbbells in ea. hand (4 sets) 8 reps
One Arm Row, 30#'s dumbell (4 sets) 8 reps
Incline Bench Press (barbell) 55#'s (4 sets) 8 reps
Deadlifts (barbell) 55#'s (4 sets) 8 reps
Incline Chest Flies 25#'s dumbells in ea. hand (4 sets) 8 reps

Hi Guys,

Seems I've been talking to myself these days. I know there are only two of us left, but I'm missing you all.

Will be sitting with one of my grandsons for a few days, will be back Wed. night. Had another grandson over for his 13 birthday this weekend. Had lots of fun and saw the movies Star TreK. Great movie. He had me coming and going.

Plan on doing Meso 3 Disc 37 legs. Got to go now, see ya Wed.

Good evening!

Had a busy weekend with lots of gardening, i.e., weeding, and some golf and some movies (Star Trek was great!)

Started another round of CLX today. Did not try level two of Shred since my calves were so darn tight. After working out the second day, they got tighter, so no workouts for me until I could get rid of the tightness. Finally got out of bed this morning and walked normally.

Tomorrow is my upper GI, so I won't be around. Hope everyone is doing great and had a wonderful three day weekend.

Wow! My head is in a spin right now. Only 1 month left to write this book and the promotion has been taking up most of my time this past week. Then my husband had to move my BIL's things out of storage this weekend and so our yard is cluttered with all this stuff. Goodness!;

Plus, a good friend of mine is moving and I have to see her. It's all these things all at once -- no gradient -- gradual thing to it -- it's all here right now have to do it all fast. Pant...pant...

Anyway, Janie, I've been wanting to get on the forum and tell you that I didn't make it to my box on Sat -- was off doing touring with this book. But i will get there sometime this week. And it will probably be there sitting there for me.

Sorry you've been here by yourself this week -- as you can see, have had my hands full a bit.

Anyway...

Rhea, yes, you are so right to let those muscles rest. Glad that you're getting into it, though.

Janie, your workouts look incredible. Wow! Really impressive.

Today was IMAX3 blasts only -- good workout. I'm still doing the 30 minutes a day workouts. This is going to be one heck of a month for me. I have to concentrate and the world seems to be knocking at my door. Goodness!
