I read your post yesterday and although I did not reply your family and Ivy were in my thoughts last night. I'm so sorry for your loss but I'm pleased that you did not have to go through putting her to sleep. It sounds like she had a very peaceful passing surrounded by her favorite things and people. I have 4 cats myself and I hope that they pass peacefully at home with me by their side. You gave her a good life, took care of her through her aliments and provided much needed love and comfort in her last days. What a lucky gal she was and lucky mommy you are to have had her company for so long!
