Kindle Fire

Does anyone have any thought on this new device? It seems like a good price. Can you use it like an Ipad? I was thinking about getting one. The ipad is pretty expensive. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. I am so technology stupid!

I think the Kindle is just reading books, no internet access unless that was changed with the Fire. I have a Nook and love it. I have the original, I've got my eye on the Nook Touchpad next!
