Kids say the funniest things

Ok, so to tell you about something funny my 4 year old son last night I have to give you a little bit of info first. So my son has this thing where he always asks when he can see his friends. By friends I mean cartoon characters. Lately, he has been watching Jungle Book 2, so he keeps asking when he can play with Mowgli. I keep telling him that those are just cartoons and they aren't real people. Now on to last night. I was telling my husband that I got an e-mail from Cathe. Now my son knows who Cathe is because he always sees me working out with her. Well as I was talking to my husband, my son asks who Cathe is. I said she's my "friend". So then he says, "Cathe is not your friend. She is not real. She's only on the movies." Gosh, when I type it, it doesn't sound that funny, but if you could see his face and hear the way he said it, we were laughing hysterically.

You just got to love what they say, My son said something so funny but had to leave the parking lot to laugh, we were just coming out of the store and there was a car parked right next to mine and they had the window down and they were smoking and he says out loud "Smoking can kill you" I blushed and said I was sorry and got in the van and left and then laughed

That is too cute! Hey, at least he knows at an early age that smoking is bad for you right. Oh man, I get ambushed with both kids when we are at stores. They pick up on something and when they make a comment (even a bad one) it is so hard not to laugh. It is just funny what kids come up with in those little brains of theirs. I swear, it is even more funny to listen to them talk with their friends on our street. Little 4 and 5 year olds all talking like they are adults. I could listen to their conversations for hours. Plus, if only their parents knew the stuff they say. I know so many embarrasing things about the neighbors just listening to the kids talk!!! OH man, better than watching TV!!!
