I did Kickbox for the first time today. What a great change from Classics! It was fun not to mention intense (for me). I really had a hard time with the constant jumping portions (the side-to-side)...very hard on the knees, but I recovered nicely. I'm sore even now and wonder if I'll be able to move tomorrow. I'm feeling it in my shoulders and biceps (of all places) and was actually hoping to feel more in the ab and leg areas. I was wondering if anyone else felt this way?
I took up the padding under the area rug and realized that wasn't the best thing to do for the knees with all of the jumping. I did figure a fix, expensive fix though. While at Toys R Us tonight I saw those squares that link together...$20 for four....it'd probably take three or four sets to make it the size I'd want. Any ideas for something with cushion (but not carpet)?
Sorry to ramble here...
TIA
