Kick Max is killing my lats!

In a good way, but jeesh, they're sore! I did KM yesterday and when I woke up this morning, my lats were on fire! I've been putting a lot more explosive power into the moves lately and have been a lot more conscious of where my punches land and I think that's helping it be a much more effective workout for me. The combo where you do the block, block, hammer punch....well, ouch. :)

Is anyone else having the same KM experience?
 
Yep, the last time I did Kickmax, I felt it in the lats and back the next day. I just did this one this morning so I am guessing I will be feeling it later or tomorrow. I like that feeling, makes me want to pull out the kickboxing vids and do a rotation of them.

I'm with you there. After the two month HC challenge, I may do one whole week of kickboxing. It seems the only way I can even feel my lats is when they're sore!
 
Yes, that happens to me too, plus my shoulders are always sore the next day. I'm going to try to do KM twice a week for a while. I love the low block move, it feels great in my triceps!
