Kathryn-the concealer

Does it really stay on? I have tried ones that claim to stay on but melt off way too soon. If you say it works, then I am definately going to get it. Thank you!

It stays on for me. It takes a bit of getting used to , and it's easy to get too much at first (it's very dense, so I kind of pat it in).

It's funny: it came in a kit with an undereye concealer: some thinner liquidy stuff that made no visible difference to me!

If you can, get it from QVC (I don't know if they have it in right now, but they often do). Then, if it doesn't work for you, you can send it back. (What works for one person might not work for another--different skin types, etc.).

Let me know how you like it.

Thank you Kathryn, I am going to order some of it the first of next month. I get so annoyed with people telling me I look tired when I am not tired. I must put a stop to this!

I might try that and see if I like it better.
I've seen Dermablend demoed by that 70+-year-old woman who has horrible purple veiny legs without it. It did seem to look a bit thick on the legs, though.

I love Dermablend as a spot concealer (not the body one). It hides a multitude of sins and stays put.

I have tried Dermablend and the stick stuff comes off. The stuff in the small jars is too thick to put under the eyes.

The Dermablend in the jar works wonderfully if applied with a "nylon" make-up brush. I only use it for small areas (in the outside corners of my eyes which tend to be dark)....if you are concealing a large area I would probably go with Bobbi Brown's Foundation Stick (listed 2 years in a row in Style magazine as "tops" for concealers). Laura Mercier's is also a wonderful option and made the list as well. They are both great choices, but don't stay on as long as the Dermablend. All three blend very well with make-up.

Robin :)

Ooops sorry. I didn't mean to hijack the thread ;-) . I just thought I would make suggestions for those of you (like me) who break out or who are sensitive to mineral make-up.

Where can one get this nylon make-up brush? I have never seen Bobbi Brown makeup. This isn't the same person who is married to Whitney Houston, is it?

Prescriptives sells a really good nylon make-up brush...you can even buy it on line from Neiman Marcus. Bobbi Brown make-up can be purchased at Neiman Marcus, Nordstroms as well as on line at http://www.bobbibrowncosmetics.com/. I love her concealer, but use Laura Mercier foundation because it is "flawless" and it is the best I've ever used.
