Just Lifting Weights

I was just wondering if you just lift for about three weeks is that a good workout to get muscles more defined. I only want to work out about three times a week, so I was going to try just doing the slow and heavy series. Would that work to build muscle.
 
Hi Breezer! If you do the slow heavy series for three weeks you will definitely feel a difference in your muscles. But in order to continue to see progress you will need to lift on a steady basis (vs just three weeks) for more than JUST three weeks. You mentioned working 3 days per week. If you did this on a steady basis this would be great. Even 2 days per week on a steady basis would be okay if you hit every major muscle group in your body. Good Luck!
