June Rock Bottoms Rotation

Okay guys,

I need a little moral (or booty support which is why I am doing this rotation!);-)

I really want to target my butt before summer and have decided to try this rotation, I never use the rotations, I prefer to use my own, but this looks like a winner. Has anyone tried it?

I cannot do walking lunges because of my hip, so do you think standing stationary lunges would work? I can do those without too much painx(
Anyway, wish me luck, the lower body is always such a painful area (but my fave to work!) My right butt cheek because of my arthritic hip has gotten softer than my left, which is sooo frustrating, so maybe this hardcore rotation will make it stand at attention again!!

Can you do low pulse lunges?
 
Yep, I just got done doing Hardcore Extreme-the low impact/high impact
intervalworkout--I do not have the Imax tape--good grief!!x(
It practically wiped me out, it is sooo hard, I thought I was in good shape, but geez I have alot of work to do!!:) I have to modify some of the higher impact stuff, but it still kicked my rear end!

I did the low pulse lunges, thanks! And tonight will do my Fluidity workout which really works your booty.
I find that if I write down my workouts for the week I am the most disciplined about following them, so I am excited about this rotation!
Oh, and I just finished a very "clean" meal of fresh summer squash, a can of tuna, hummus (I like to dip veggies in this!) and a cup of coffee-I need the energy for heavens' sake!So far so good....
 
I have been doing this for the past 2 months. Between going out of town and breaks, it's lasted that long. It's awesome. I love the walking lunges, they really target the right spots but any type of lunges will work. Sounds like you might start and finish this one before me!!! I'm off to doing the Bodymax entire workout. Wish me luck. I have about a week and a half left of this rotation, thank heavens. I think you will be pleased with the results if you stick with it.;-)
 
I have to admit, even though I am only on day 4, I wish this rotation included the newer tapes too. But it's fun doing Cardio Kicks, love the men in the workout, I always follow them before the gals, their nice bods must motivate me!:)
I am also a little concerened I have had to modify the BBW workout because of the hip, but hey, it's worth a shot and to quote Mr. Tony Horton, "Do your best and forget the rest!"
I am off to do the CTX upper body split--whooeee.:*
 
I finished week 1 today--yippeee!!:7 Is my butt standing at attention yet??
Well,its gonna look better after week 4 I am sure of it! So far, so good.
 
You are doing good! I just finished body max yesterday and am trying to get motivated to do step fit after I sign off. What mix are you thinking of doing after this one? I was looking at sept. butts and guts or doing the november 06' new dvds one. I agree, I wish the newer DVD's were in this rotation. I am sure you could sub. for similiar workouts. Great job!
 
Well, again, so far so good!:)
My hip has been really bugging me, so I tried substituting the floorwork on Butts and Gutts for the BBW (the extra butt workout Cathe gives in this rotation)for this week. Squats, lunges etc...are off limits when I hurt, so the floorwork I can do without too much grief!!:) I also do my Fluidity bar workout for the lower body, to sub for the 300 lunges, which again, have proven to be too painful to do with proper form.
I love upper body pyramid, which is on the menu twice this week, I really push myself during this workout, it goes by real fast, so my upper body is getting two solid workouts per week--great!
I have added a little extra mild cardio on those days that you work your upper body, as that is the only workout listed for that day--well, that and the extra butt workout.
Cardio in the AM loosens me up and gives me energy for the day, then in the evening, I do the upper body workouts, plus the extra butt workout.

I was thinking the same thing, the Sept. rotation?? Or maybe one that includes Drill Max, and some of the circuit workouts, which I miss...I will see how I feel! There are so many great rotations to choose from, and my favorite workouts have to be the Gym Styles!:) I like the discipline of knowing which workout I am doing everyday, and how each rotation has a "goal". It helps to keep me focused!
 
End of week 2 today!!! Just did LBP and am looking forward to my rest day tomorrow!!I have stuck with it, very cool.
 
Wow. Time seems to be flying by for you. Are you seeing results? I love this rotation. I am starting the Nov 06 shock your body rotation then next month I think I will do Butts and Guts. In the middle of Body Max 2, my little girl woke up from her nap early so I have to stop but I will return. Don't you hate that. Well, somethings better than nothing.
Don't you love the Pyramid lower body combined with the BBW. It really works great. :)Awesome job sticking with it.
P.S. I noticed that you live in Salt lake city. I grew up in South Ogden (45 minutes north of SLC). Have you been to Gardners village? I miss it there. All of our family is there.
 
Oh wow,another Salt Lake City gal! Cool. I actually moved to Las Vegas last summer, but our company is still in Salt Lake City.
I miss the cool winters though, no snow here!x( I have not been to Gardners Village, although I really wanted to during the Christmas season.

Yeah, I am officially on week 3, I do not know if I can tell a big difference, especially today, my pants felt tighter around my thighs, which means I am retaining water or I need to crack the diet whip!!:)
So ask me after week 4 and hopefully I will have good news!:) Love the rotation because it has you doing older workouts, something I have never done. I did not like this at first, but now I understand that the variety is great, keeps you interested. PLB is my favorite lower body workout, it just feels like you hit all the right places, plus it goes by so fast!:7
 
So how is your 4th week going? Are you through it yet? I love PLB. You are right. It does hit all the right spots and when you add the BBW to it, it really works. My husband even noticed my butt looks higher! That's a good thing!
 
Whoops!! My parents are in from out of town, I try to squeeze a 30 minute workout in the AM this week, so will have to start with week 4 on Monday.
That is okay though, I am learning to just pick up where I left off, and not feel too bad about missing a few workouts. It is hard when you are entertaining and you live in Vegas! Everyone wants to go up to the srip, shop, etc....:) So here is to a better week starting to tomorrow!
Oh, I did notice last week, my jeans seemed to look better:7
 
All done! I am in the middle of my PMS week, so don't ask about results as I look and feel like a beached whale! I am going to start Cathe's Nov 6 rotation 'Shock your body". I am going to add some more butt workouts, specifically the PLB and the Butts and Gutts floorwork into this rotation for added booty work and see how it goes! I have all the DVD's in this rotation so it will be great!

In truth, in the 3rd week of Rock Bottoms I started to see a better looking butt, really. This is a good rotation.:)
