Cathlete
I thought I'd start this today to give everyone a chance to think about it for a day.:)

Mine are:

1. No sweets for the month
2. Lose an inch off my hips (that one is carried over from May as I did not achieve it)
3. Be able to do three pullups (right now I can't do ANY)
4. Add 2 km to my run route (also carried over from May...:p )
5. Lose my last 2 lbs.

He Shelley, you're awful quick with this one :)

OK, here goes.
1. no sweets for a month (except my son's birthday)
2. loose 1/2 cm of my waist (67cm to 66.5cm)
3. loose 2 pounds (123 to 121 pounds: am having a really hard time with the weight loss though)
4. stick to my 20.5K long run on Sunday (total weekly mileage 25miles) and no jumping in bushes :p
5. try out all my new Yogazone workouts and do all of my old Yogazone workouts (one a day)
6. 30 days straight working out (no excuses this month)

I'll take all measurements tomorrow.

Dutchie :)

Okay, I'm going to have to be hard on myself this month. I cannot give up all sweets. But here is what I WILL do:

1. Give up all baked sweets for the month (ie, cookies, brownies, donuts, etc). I'm crying already... this one is going to kill me.
2. Lose 5 pounds.
3. Be able to do 1 pullup. Well, I don't know if I can't do any, as I haven't tried yet. But I'm guessing I probably can't. So if I can do just one by the end of the month, I will be impressed with myself. ;)
4. Do 10 pushups from my toes.

(1) Less Propel and more H2O
(2) Cardio everyday: 30 mins Aerobics or running including HIIT
(3) Do 10 push ups from my toes
(4) Increase Strength: go longer with curling 50lbs and benching 60lbs

Okay, you've inspired me. Maybe if I see it in writing...

1. Stick to my "sensible" diet.(I know what works for me)

2. Lose 5 pounds

3. Exercise of some sort 6 days/week

4. STOP WORRYING about every little thing (Can I include this behavioral goal, as well as the physical ones?)

alright, I'm ready too! for the month of june, i'll try to:

1. do 5 push ups on toes (only 2-3 right now)
2. lose 5 pounds
3. give up baked sweets and icecream/candy (ohhhhhh boy.... )
4. keep my eye on the prize: a healthier, fitter version of ME :)

I am going to print this out now!!! lol -Tina

Shelly hahaha yeah you're definitely ahead of me on the monthy check in thing. I'll post my goals along with any inch loss tomorrow. By the way I don't know if I'm going to be able to do the no sweets challenge. It's hard right now to try the "50g of sugar or less a day" thing.

My goals for the month.

1. STICK TO MY ROTATION. (Sorry, I just keep quitting in the middle).

2. Eat clean 6 out of 7 days.

3. Lose 8 pounds

4. Increase my cardio endurance to 40 minutes per session.

5. Start using my 15's for heavy upper body again.

these are all GREAT!

i aspire to to lose more weight! 20 more lbs. total, but obviously, i cannot do that in a month, so i will try for 7.

Ok here we go! I have to say that I won't take any measurements this week because I just found out that this is going to be TTOM week and I know I gain water weight so I'll do it some time next week.

My goals for June:

1. Keep losing inches all over, but mostly my lower body.
2. Keep working on those planks.
3. Finally add hardcore workouts to my monthly rotation. This month I'll do Kick Max, Muscle Max and Low Max once a week along with other Cathe workouts.
4. Oh goodness I can't believe I'm typing this!!!!...yep! make good on my "no sweets for a month" challenge and I promise to confess online when I cheat.
5. Keep working on my arms. I really want to see shoulder definition (although my triceps are looking good).
6. Try to finish my push up sets without resting in between.
7. Try to keep my rest days to one day a week and only on Sundays. (If I take an unplanned rest day I usually do it in the middle of the week then I have to change my rotation order and it makes a mess, I get frustrated and I end up having more rest days during the week).

So that's it. Those are enough for a month I think. Take care everybody. We have to work hard this month.

Thanks for getting this started, Shelley! I feel so honored to be part of this forum, lots of inspiration and motivation to be found around here. ;)

June Goals
1. Lose 3 pounds.
2. No sweets for the entire month. }(
3. At least 1 Yoga workout a week.
4. Concentrate on maintaining good forum and a mind/body connection while doing weight work.

Connie :D

Here's mine:

1. No sweets for the month
2. Lose 5 lbs.
3. Fit into my skinny jeans (see #1 and #2)

Tammy

1. I need to lose 20 pounds, but will settle for 5 or so for June.

2. No sweets for the entire month...I hope!

3. I am running 1.5 miles per day (since Thursday, not much, but it is my first time running!!). I want to continue at least this, with no days off (unless I feel any pain/discomfort). I want to find out if running will help me with my weight loss.

4. Incorporate upper body 2x per week and

5. work abs hard at least 2x per week.

I feel like if I can do this I will lose more like 30 pounds, because I swear that I eat sooo much junk. Why does it go on quickly and then come off so slowly?

I'll give up most sweets too. I must have chocolate cake with white frosting at Sam's birthday party on Saturday. A bite of this, a taste of that has always worked for me. But I am back on the sugar police patrol, reading labels and avoiding all but the purest forms of carbohydrate most of the time. I'm writing an ode to those lovely complex carbs with lots of fiber. I will eat at regular intervals and balance my menu at home. I'll eat out less as well. That's something we've done too often of late and, unless we hit one of my favorite absolutely fabulous resturants, I tend to pick apart a plate of sub-standard food I really find disgusting and then feel guilty for that. That's another one right there. I'll practicing saying "No!" when they suggest the places they know I hate because they are fat fests unfit for fit folk. We've been to two recently because I quit arguing about that because I have so many people who never go away clamoring for too many things for one mother to take on at once. They have worn me down. :) My most important goal is being very consistant with exercise, which I have not been doing, and not running myself ragged keeping the chickens happy at my expense. Not that I'm unhappy. I'm happy. Yard work alone lately has been very hardcore but now it's time to get a CTX rotation going with some nice yoga. I intend to relax more and get a massage or two too. :) I could use one right now but the closest I've gotten was sitting in the Shiatsu Massage Chair at the Discovery Store yesterday waiting for the kids after 3 and half hours of shopping. It was really very nice. It kneaded me while no one needed me for five minutes until they found something they couldn't live without and made me get up to look at it and lose my massage chair to some guy who didn't deserve it. Maybe I'll get one for Rich for Father's Day.

OK, here goes:

1. Loose a couple of pounds.
2. Firm up around the hips and rib cage.
3. Run with my kids at least 2 days a week.

1. No sweets for the month (staying out of the dreaded candy dish at work!)

2. Follow my rotation without skipping over the muscle groups I do not enjoy working, putting them off untill the end of the week and then if I do not get to them oh well

3. Lose Five pounds

4. Run 3 times a week

Here are my goals for June

1, Make good choices at mealtime
2, Limit sweets and starchy foods
3, Stick with the rotation that was recommended by Cathe on the "Ask Cathe" forum / cardio 5-6 times/week + two bodyparts/ day 4-5 times/ week. She recommends this rotation for 3 month.
4, Lose weight and inches

Happy fat burning to everybody!

Krisztina

So far I am on target for all of my goals. I am even exceeding the running one. I am doing 2-4 miles instead.

How is everyone else doing?

Goals for June:

1. Adhere to the "no sweet" challenge.
2. Lose that stubborn 1/2 inch off my hips that won't come
off. I've been down there before so I know it's possible.
3. Maintain weight and don't binge eat during PMS time (this will
hit at the end of the month).
4. Master knee rolls on that dreaded session #2 of CoreMax (pikes
will have to be another month).
5. Do 10 pushups on toes - I am up to 5.
6. Get back up to my previous runs of 5.5 to 6 miles.... currently
at 3.5 to 3.75. - lost strength, endurance, and stamina
during RA flare and just now getting back up to par.
7. Going to try getting up earlier in the morning and getting
in a workout. Not sure if I can do this, usually not an early
exerciser.
