Jump Rope

I have been doing the Aero Jump/Sculpt workout by Michael Olajide Jr. I just love it! It would be cool if Cathe did a jumprope workout too. In the Aero Jump workout Michael tells you at the beginning that the rope is OPTIONAL. I'm an advanced exerciser but still a beginner at jump rope. I have done this workout 4 times now, and I can use the rope for about half the workout (NOT at all the first time I did it). I can even do crossovers now.
Anyhow, boxers use jump rope for cardio conditioning all the time. It would be cool to have a workout that incorporates intervals with the rope and other MINIMAL equipment.
I do the AERO JUMP workout with one set of light hand weights and a good, leather, swivel-handled rope.

I recently tried out Cardio Knockout with Kathy Smith and Michael Olajide Jr. I haven't jumped rope in years, and I see I need to practice. I didn't realize how fast they were spinning those ropes. I can do it with the rope in one hand, but when I switch to both hands, my mind shuts down.

Also, I am impressed by the speed that Michael Olajide Jr has in the sticking sequences. I'll need to practice that too!!!

The jump rope sequence was definitely a good cardio and calf workout.
