July 23, 2015 high Intensity Aerobic Weight Training (w/step)

Attention Cathe Live Subscribers: This Thursday, July 23rd at 9:15am EST, we will be doing "High Intensity Aerobic Weight Training (with Step)" Live! This class is all about total body conditioning through high intensity movement. Expect to move randomly & efficiently with moderate to heavy weights. Some moves are cardio, some moves are lower body, some moves are upper body and some moves are compound. Are you ready to burn fat, burn calories & define muscles?!?!? I'll see you in the morning!


Equipment needed:

A standard sized step at either 8 or 10 inches in height (that means two risers or three risers under each side).

A set of 8, 10, 12 & 15 pound Dumbbells

A fitness mat (optional for push-ups)

Sleep Well My Pretties!!!! Heeee he he he heeee
 
Just previewed this one and am excited to give it a whirl next week! I'm already gasping for air just thinking about doing the cardio on a 10 inch step height.

By the way, loved the funky green neon shorts, Cathe! Reminded me of all the cool bright 80's styles we used to see in Magnum P.I. and Miami Vice. :cool:

Did this one this am and OMG!!!! I was huffing and puffing by the end. I even lowered my weight to 8lbs for the side lunge,one arm press at the end. I used the same weight as Cathe for most. I thought about going heavier for some but thought I would try the workout using Cathe's weight first and I'm glad I did. I will be doing this one often. What a great workout.:)
 
I did this on Thursday night after FINALLY signing up on Thursday as well. It was terrific. I really love AWT because I believe it is most effective for my body type. I don't know why I hesitated signing up for so long! I really appreciate your commitment to continue to put good workout material out there. It is a great service.

I dragged my feet for a bit before signing up also, but I've been a subscriber for about 7 months now, and I am SO thrilled with Cathe LIVE! You are going to LOVE it. :D Glad to know you enjoyed this particular workout. I think my body responds well to AWT also.
