Jogglers November!!!

Hi ladies,
My workout today was a three hour ride with my mom and a couple of dog walks. Have a happy Thanksgiving!
Lisa

Alisha - Hope you had a good joggle! We did 3.93 miles this afternoon, then I came home and put the turkey in. We never eat before 5 p.m. even on holidays! Don't sweat the ice cream! We're having molten chocolate cake that was baked in a muffin pan so they're perfectly small servings along with some Breyer's Rocky Road ice cream for dessert!

Lisa - Nice ride!

I've lost track of what the date actually is, but Happy Thanksgiving!

I skipped my workout yesterday. I was tired. I will go for a joggle this afternoon. I like to wait until its warm.:D

Happy Buying Friday!

Alisha

Hi ladies,
Today was ride number 4. We're having a great time. My hips are tired that's for sure. Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving.
Lisa

Alisha - That's okay! I skipped today! I'm sore from my run yesterday in my obliques and inner thighs, of all places! I'm also tired cause of staying up so late last night! Have a good joggle!

Lisa - Glad you're getting a lot of riding in!

We had a nice Thanksgiving yesterday, but I'm sad that my vacation is winding down. It'll be back to the old grind on Monday. I'm going to try to make the best of this weekend!

Hello Jane and Cindi!

Tricia- Inner thigh:confused: go figure.

Lisa- 4th ride? I think my hips are sore in sympathy:p

I went on a long hike instead of a joggle. I forgot to wash the right bra again:eek: Tomorrow will be a step workout. I just don't know which one.

Alisha

Day #5, Ride #5, done.

Hips are hanging on based on the promise that they will be done tomorrow. Chip's probably working on the same premise.

Yesterday I dusted off an extreme oldie Buns of Steel 6 which is a step workout. What a blast from the past. 1990. Whoa:eek: Then I did 25 min. of Yoga Today for beginners. It was great but I guess I'm beyond 'novice' now so after I was done, I deleted it. I plan to go for a hike later.

Lisa- Cool pic!

Tricia-Ever watch the movie "The Never Ending Summer"? Would you like to make one called, "The Never Ending Vacation"? We could travel the world looking for obscure holidays. Sounds like a documentary.

Jane-Hi!

Cindi- Hi, how was your holiday?

Alisha - You sound like me! What I do depends on what's clean sometimes! I remember Buns of Steel! I think I even had a few of those! Yes, The Endless Vacation would be fabulous! Travel the world, experience holidays never before encountered! Ahhhh, what a life that would be! Or, at least, a great tv special!

Lisa - Please don't lose any parts! LOL! Glad you've had a wonderful holiday week!

Jane and Cindi - I hope your holiday has been wonderful! Welcome back to the real world everyone! : (

Tricia- This Holiday season I'm in the real world the whole time:( I didn't even make any pies!!!! But, I did figure out some DVD Authoring stuff, which in the 1970s vernacular, is quite gnarley! :D

duuuuude! I didn't even know it could do thaaaat:eek: Check out my alpha channels.

ok enough geek talk.

Today is CTX combination of kick box and hi/lo segments. My own little mish mosh. And, I'm trying the Yoga Today workout for ttotm. I had always thought you weren't supposed to do yoga during ttotm but if Sarah Kline says so, I'm in. Its really cold. Out there. I have been sleeping in sweaters and sox.

Hi everybody!!!!

Hi there Jogglers! I'm back from Iowa - the weather was COLD this week but better today thankfully.

Just planning out my December now - thinking about running and K'bells. I have some new workouts I want to try. Plus all the Christmas preparation - I did pull all the recipes this weekend and the decorations are up except for the ornaments on the tree - which I'm letting the kids do.

Watched Elf last night - love that movie!

Hi ladies,
Yesterday I ran on the beach and drove home. Today I did Bum Bum, Bum Bum Rapido and Namaste yoga.

Tricia - A little desitin is a cowgirl's best friend ;) so no parts lost. Hips are a little creaky though....

Lisa

Alisha - Let out that inner geek! :p It's been pretty chilly here, but at least I haven't had to put any extra blankets on yet! That usually doesn't happen until January!

I like that mish mosh of yours!

Cindi - Welcome back! Hope you had a great time in Iowa! Running and KBs sound good! I'm still working on Insanity. One more week of month 1!

Lisa - I can hear those hips from here! ;)

I'm not feeling like Insanity is burning enough calories for me! :( The HIIT workouts are doing great things for my endurance and speed, but I think as far as fat burning goes and calorie burn, I do better with Cathe's cardio. I'm going to start working in some Cathe in addition to the Insanity and see what happens.

Hi Jane!

This morning I did Sculpt.

Tricia - I'm not surprised. I sound like a bowl of Rice Crispies. Have fun with Cathe + Insanity.

Lisa

Hi ladies!

ha ha Lisa - I'm very crunchy sounding too. My knees, back, hip - doesn't hurt though.

Tricia - here's my thing with intense short workouts - maybe you can figure this out. At my age (44 - soon to be 45), the HIIT workouts don't burn a ton of calories but they exhaust me so if I try to add on, I'm totally beat up. I find it very hard to get the right balance. If I had unlimited time, I would do an easy/moderate walk each morning to burn a couple hundred and then do an intense workout after work. But since I like to sleep - I don't get to do the walking. My gut tells me that will be the key to longevity for me - more easy movement with small bursts of intensity.

Just something that's been mulling around in my aging head. :)

Did Shred it with weights last night - Jillian M. Kettlebell. A really good 30 minute, intense but not insane workout. Nice way to ease into my Kettlebell month. Spin class tonight although I may do a short jog beforehand.

Lisa- I used to use Desitin when I lived in FL and worked at Disney World. The avg. cast member (someone who works in the park.) is expected to walk over 20 miles a day.

Tricia- No blankets yet? Thats ok, more for me.

Hi Cindi and Jane!

I have another CTX mish/mosh for today. Its all the step segments put together. The rest of the day will be spent on the computer exporting/compressing files. I also have to adjust my graphics, they aren't spectacular yet. I'm looking thinner, I will weigh in on Saturday. I hope it shows on the scale too.

Alisha

Lisa - Thanks! We'll see what happens. I'd also like to get back to working out in the mornings, but I'm not sure that's going to happen before the end of this semester with Stephen's really late nights!

Cindi - I know what you mean. I was thinking about taking the pups for walks in the mornings, but this time of year with the temps dropping and Jan/Feb being sub-zero so much, that's just not going to happen! The pups would be fine, but not me! I'm curious to see what my cal burns are with Cathe cardio again. It may be a metabolic thing at this point.

Alisha - Sounds like another geeky day for you! lol! Thinking of just adding some weight work on after my Insanity workouts. Was considering the segments from CTX or 4-Day Split.

I did get my Insanity workout done today! Yippee! I'm in week 4. Next week is Cardio Core and Balance which is my rest week before it goes to the Max workouts! Ouch!

Hi Jane! Miss you! Hope all is well!
