Jogglers November!!!

I went to Harry Potter this morning instead of jogging in the Alaskan air out there. Its really cold. It was so sad when Hedwig died. :(

I plan to do some MMA Boxing later today. My right ear is bugging me. I took some advil, airborne and decongestant, I hope that works.

Its Caturday!!!!!

I did MMA Boxing last night as produced. I could only do some of the core conditioning work and then had to take a break and join in when I could. Today is Step Moves or Athletic Step. My heart rate was up last night, I wonder if it was from working out so late, I didn't start until 8 pm.

Jane - Wow! I've watched some of those Crossfit workouts! I can't wait to hear how it went! Enjoy the beach and have a wonderful Thanksgiving! So, were you puking from that workout? That's what I see a lot after the ones they show on YouTube!

Well, we got up and left at 9 this morning for Boston. Went to the BC v. UVA football game. It was the last home game of the season. It was cold, but we had a lot of fun! Didn't get home until 5 p.m., so no Insanity for me today. We did walk a good 4 miles total today up in Boston though getting from where we parked, to the stadium and back! I did do Insanity last night. Cardio Power & Resistance. I can feel myself getting stronger finally! At least, I think so!

Found out there's a total lunar eclipse coming on Dec. 20-21! I'm excited! So long as it isn't cloudy (yeah, right), I'll be able to see it! Going to get my telescope cleaned up and ready, just in case!

Today is probably a rest day. I kind of hurt my right hand stretching on Friday after MMA, my fingers are a bit curved and I don't really bend that way:(
Tomorrow will probably be MMA Kick Box. Its wet, rainy and cold out there. I went for a hike yesterday and it started to rain on me and it felt like I was getting pelted with ice.

Hi Alisha! No worries! I've never read a single book and usually, by the time I get to the movie, there's been so much out there about it on the radio and such it doesn't matter!

Sorry you hurt your hand! I tend to do that a lot, too! Accidentally bend my fingers the wrong way! Stay warm and dry!

Just finished Insanity Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs! Love the "no crunches" ab workouts! They tend to be a lot harder than doing a bunch of crunches! Gotta love it!

Tomorrow is my 2nd Fit Test. I hope to see some improvement - even a little bit!

Today I did the following workout. It was 80 degrees today!

4 Rounds
9 Kettlebell Squat Thrust Deadlifts
18 Barbell Push Presses
27 Sit ups
36 Swings

Tricia ~ No puking on the workout yesterday. The only time I feel like puking is when it's hot outside. Good Luck on your fit test tomorrow!

Alisha ~ No worries about the Potter flick. I haven't read any of the books or seen any of the movies. :eek: Sorry you hurt your hand. Hope it's better soon!

I had a productive day. I made 2 batches of cookies (for the beach), did laundry, cleaned the house and signed up for another 1/2 marathon in March in Sarasota.

Nice work Jane! Thanks for the luck! It's going to depend on how much I wear myself out before I do it! I have to take the car in for oil service, go the the drugstore for general stuff - shampoo, conditioner, etc. and to the grocery store for my turkey day menu stuff. Whew! Hope I can get through all that and still have energy for my Fit Test!

Saturday I did Providence (all of it)
Sunday I did Pyramid Upper Body (up premix)

Sunday afternoon we had to put Buster to sleep. We buried him Monday morning. I drove to Hatteras last night.

Today I am going to walk, ride Chip and clean the house before my parents get here tonight.

Tricia-I vote for Super Hero status.

My hand is fine. Something I ate over the weekend is biting me but I'm doing my best to ignore it. Yesterday's MMA Kick Box was too easy so I added two miles around the neighborhood. Today I'm doing an old Kathy Smith step circuit. Its surprisingly intense. I'm trying to use my old VHS tapes as much as possible until I can buy a new tv that will work with my DVD player. Tomorrow will be a late afternoon joggle. Its time to go back to the grindstone, I am working on my work flow for this video project and its not easy to decide exactly how to export and at what settings to create the best product. I have 44 videos to author and its a big project. I kind of know how Cathe feels.

Alisha - All that sounds like Greek to me, but it sounds difficult! I'm sure you'll figure it out! I, too, feel the need to kick things up a notch. Not that Insanity isn't tough, but they're short. I sweat like crazy and I'm sure I'm continuing to burn cals after each workout. Being on vacation with my husband is difficult. It was Taco Bell today. All I had were tacos, no cheese. They're not too bad in calories, but still not the healthiest thing I could have eaten today - in addition to the homemade belgian waffles this morning, AND I didn't workout. (Hanging head in shame.)

Back on it tomorrow!

Thanks for the condolences. We're just muddling through. John's family is coming into town tomorrow so that will help. My family is here now which is helping too. You just have to keep moving/busy sometimes.

Today I did the following:
~Walked 4 miles on the beach with Sylvia, found an injured seagull, called the wildlife guy to come put him down

~Rode Chip out to the beach with Georgana

~Took the dogs to the sound to play (my three plus Mom's three), kept the dogs from killing a racoon/fighting over who got to kill the racoon, bathed Nellie twice - once for rolling in dead rotten jellyfish, second time for rolling in the sand after round 1

~Ran two miles with the dogs while my mom rode her bike

I didn't get a proper workout in but I don't think that matters today. Have a good evening.

Here is the workout I did last night.

5 Rounds

Jump Rope
Ball Slams

Squat Thrust Sandbag Jump Over

I'm leaving for the beach this afternoon. My workout today is going to be hauling a ton of stuff up 3 flights of stairs!

I brought a jump rope with me and my gymboss and a couple of jump rope workouts. I also have my running shoes so I can get a couple of runs in. They also have a volleyball net so hopefully I can get my sisters to play. I'm going to try my best to workout hard because we have plenty of food and most of it isn't healthy.

I don't know if I have computer access or not so I may or may not be checking in.

Tricia ~ You are definitely a SUPER HERO!! Don't feel too bad about the eating stuff. It's you vacation after all (this is making me feel better about my upcoming vacation). :p

Lisa ~ Your day sounds like a workout to me.

Alisha ~ You can come by anytime. The cookies I made are Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookies. I made a double batch.

Happy Wednesday ladies!

Lisa - Busy is good when you have something on your mind. I think what you're doing is way proper for workouts! Walking the dogs, bathing dogs, riding, etc. It may not be traditional, but your body still works for it! Hang in there and have a wonderful time with your family!

Jane - Climbing stairs is enough of a workout for me! Thanks for making me feel better about junking out this week! ;)

I ended up not getting my workout in yesterday. The belgian waffles put me getting a late start to my day. Lunch was late and then, the office didn't call about picking up our turkey until after 3 p.m. So my workout time was killed. :( It's okay! Definitely getting it done today and, hopefully, a run tomorrow morning. That ought to be interesting. I haven't run at all since the MCM!

Lots to do today!

I am going for a joggle later today. Its really cold out there for us. We are wimpy that way, a little snow and we start thinking its winter. I had a caramel craving yesterday and I got that Ben/Jerry's Americone Dream which is the Stephen Colbert flavor. I had half a serving and I gave the rest to my Dad. Today I was much better behaved. :p We aren't doing a turkey day cause I'm too busy. I have slogged through part of the compression process but now comes the authoring, thats were you add the DVD menus, art and music cues.

Tricia- Don't worry about the tacos. I lost some of my weight eating at Del Taco.

Lisa- Does this mean its actually time to Whoa Nellie?:p

Jane- All those stairs is a workout.

Cindi- I bet you are going to have a very musical Thanksgiving, does Honor play her cello for her supper? I have heard of singing for your supper. :p
