Woo Hoo Mama has retired!!
Thursday was her last official day and yesterday she had to close out some paperwork. This takes a lot of pressure off me because now I don't have to go into town unless we want to. Sometimes she would get tired (Mom has lupus) and need us to come to town to drive her home. Thats a 1 1/2 hour round trip. I would never begrudge her help, it was just one of those time things. And, now I don't have to worry about making the carpool that she had, I would drop her off in the AM and pick her up in the PM. And I don't have to worry about her driving at night as her night vision is not as good as it used to be. Yippee!!!
Now all I have to do is finish this current project phase and then I'm cut loose for a little while.
I did go for a hike yesterday in my New New balances (double news there) and my toes got numb at the end of the hike. I think this means I need to lose some poundage. dang it. oh well. something to do, right? can't be bored losing weight, it takes too much focus for boredom to show up.
I did not feel very well last night. I got molded by some sesame seed sticks on Wednesday. They were fresh from the co-op but I tasted that familiar flavor. I've been paying for that mistake. Mold eats out my insides and I have to take probiotics for a couple of days to get right again.
Its nice and sunny and in the high 60s.
I spent two hours cleaning out my bedroom desk. I didn't realize how much junk I had accumulated. OMG.
I will do some yoga tonight before dinner. I need to remember to keep lunch very light so that I don't have it come up on me in a downward facing dog.
Tricia- I don't suppose that I will get to retire at all. Not at this rate. I just have to be sure I pick a job I can do even when I'm old and disabled. Hopefully healthy living and Cathes will keep me out of the latter category even if I'm in the former!
Jane- Its true, I got your warm weather. I would need a headlamp and a buddy to get me out running in the cold like that.
