I totally thought I posted already!!! stupid interwebs.

I went for a jog/walk this morning before breakfast. I spent the day working with my Dad. It was warm out there.

btw, I officially broke off from the original HP club. I just sent an email using language a friend of mine in customer service recommended I said ' I'm leaving the club because my world is too much right now.' Yippeee. Now I just hope that does the trick. I am so proud of myself for not going off half cocked or being cowardly either. yeah me!

I have to get up early tomorrow to get my workout in before we go to work early. We want to beat the heat. We work outside, so there is no air conditioning and often there is no shade where we are. I wear sunscreen and a hat, but I still sweat buckets.

Tricia-I did have a productive weekend. The weather was great. Its in the high 80s and sunny. Can't beat a deal like that.

I'm sorry I've been MIA. It's been a busy couple of days.

Saturday was the 10K race - my 100th race. I did better than last year but I did not get a PR. So I will keep trying to do better. At least I am getting closer to it. Afterwards I went to mom's house and worked in her yard for a couple of hours and then dinner with my BIL. I only saw my BIL on Saturday at the race and then at dinner. It was enough for me (I'm sad to say that).

Sunday I did a running workout that was 1/2 mile run/walk mixed in with 100 swings, 100 tire flips, 100 jumping pull ups, 100 sit ups and 100 SDLHP. Then off to mom's again for the afternoon.

Yesterday was a much needed rest day.

Today will be an upper body workout. I may add in some legs as they are feeling better today.

Alisha ~ I love my sister but she can be difficult at times. Both of them are emotionally weak (for lack of a better word). My sister was MIA during the final months of my dad's illness and during my mom's cancer treatment. She was also very ugly during my dad's illness, demanding that we do different things to appease her guilt. Instead of saying, "I can't handle seeing dad like this, what can I do from afar," she was just ugly and mean to my mom and sisters. My sister and I have recently patched things up but both my BIL and sister have no responsibilities and both have family issues so they are an island unto themselves so to speak.

I'm glad you broke it off with your book club and you did it in a very mature way. I'm proud of you. I love that line! Don't work too hard today in the heat.

Tricia ~ I'm glad Stephen did not go to his meeting and you guys got to hang out together. The weekends go by so fast, don't they?
