Jillybean's BB DVD Premix Rotation

Hello all!
Would anyone like to join a check in for the next 3 weeks using Jillybean's BB DVD Premix Rotation posted in the Rotation forum? This roation sounds like just what I need to get me through the next 3 weeks, plus I will get to check out all those great premixes. I plan on starting tomorrow. I will have to adjust a couple of the workouts to fit in my running day. Any takers? }( :7
 
I printed it out, and will do the first premix today. I love the premixes more than the actual workouts themselves!!!!! Talk to you later, if I am still alive!!! The first workout sounds like a killer!!

Oh My Word!!!!! That was hard. My legs would hardly cooperate thru the explosive lunges, but I did it all. Now if I can only get up the stairs....Lori
 
I did the PP today, UB premix. I did 3 sets though, instead of 2. I did not have a hard time until those inverted shoulder things, and the dips. I did the 1st set of the shoulders, then about 8 on tyhe second, and about 4 on the 3rd. I finished each set off with what Cedie was doing. Those dips are a killer too!!! I have never been good at those, but I made it until the 3rd set, I did about 1/2 way thru of french presses. Angela, how are you doing??

I'm in! I started yesterday and am getting ready to do push pull upper body for today. I'm 3 1/2 months post partum, so I really want to kick my weight loss up a notch. Yesterdays workout (#1) was so refreshingly tough. Does that make sense... it felt really good to workout so hard!
 
Hey Lori & welcome Emy!
I did the PP premix today(2 sets) and found it nicely challenging. I had a lot of difficulty with the inverted shoulder presses and had to do the shown modification. I also jogged 5 miles today...woo hoo. I've recently started running with a friend one day a week so today was a great day to come home and do an upperbody workout. Emy, I hear what you are saying. When I haven't been able to workout in a while a good, tough workout often fits the bill. I will check in with you guys later!

2 sets of push pull for a total of only 44 minutes was a pretty tough workout. However, my arms were already sore from yesterdays kickboxing, so that probably explains the shorter workout being sufficient. I'm already looking forward to tomorrow!
 
Emy and Angela- I am not looking forward to today!!!! I have not done Step Blast yet, and I know the workout today is going to be tough for me. I previewed it some last night, and the hi/lo looks easy, the footwork I mean, I can handle those parts. I will probably be rewinding alot. It looks very easy on the tv, but I know it won't be, especially when I have 2 left feet!!!! Have a good day everyone.

I did the cardio circuits. I am shocked!!! I still can not do Rythmatic Step. I thought this would be the same. I only rewinded about 4 times. She kinda lost me in the third combo, but I did half of it, and the other half, I did my own. That kinda made my day, I actually got thru it!!!! Hope everyone else's day goes good.

I did SB/SJP circuit this morning. It was tough. I was ready to stop after about 35-40 minutes, but I did it. I can't wait to see results from this rotation. If I finish, ths will be the first rotation I've ever completed!
 
I will be doing the cardio circuit in a few minutes. I be tweaking the rotation a little bit. Tomorrow, instead of SJP cardio and SS lower body blast I will do the SS Upper body as I am going for a short "Jingle Bell" run. On Friday I will do Step Blast WU, section 3 & challenge, then the hi/lo add on from SJ&P. Saturday I wll do SJ&P All step premix and SS lowerbody blast(so my lower body can rest from the run as I am fairly new to running). Anyhow, I am really enjoying this rotation. Glad you guys are checking in!

If it wasn't for you guys, and we doing this rotation together, I would of bagged today. I am still in my horrid PMS mode, but I know tomorrow it is going to be here, and I will feel better. I almost did some Firm's today just because they are easier, but I did what I was supposed to do. After that SS LB Blast, my legs are cooked. Here I was, just dragging butt, literally, and when I finished the second round I'm thinking that I made it, pushed the pause button expecting to see the cooldown, and there was round 3!!! I almost cried!!! But, I did it. Now I am happy, hope everyone else is having a good day!!!

Hey Lori,
I decided not to do the run I had thought about doing tonight...too cold...I'm a whimp! So I will do SJ&P all step premix and SS Lower Body Blast...sort of can't wait...sort of can't wait to get it over with that is! Those one legged squats are killer in this workout if I remember correctly! Ouch!x( :p

Oh my gosh! SS Lower Body Blast was killer! I didn't think it would be that hard b/c there are only 4 different exercises but my legs were quaking with fatigue by the third set...especially on those one legged squats! I had to do the SS stretch before moving on to SJ&P abs. I liked doing the SJ&P step only premix before the SS Lower Body Blast b/c I felt really warmed up and ready to go! Loving this series!:7
 
Today was the easiest so far, in my opinion. However, it could be because I did the SS lower body first, then SJP step, abs, and stretch. Anyway, for tomorrow, I couldn't find a premix for 2 sets of upper body, so I will do the "Upper Body Blast" (59 min.) and I assume that is what jillybean meant. I haven't had the time to view it all and figure out all the group A & B stuff. Talk to you tomorrow!
 
My legs are sore today. Emy, maybe it does make a difference when you do the cardio, because I know my legs were just quivering in the 3rd set. My buns are the most sore. I am glad there is no cardio today. My legs need a rest. I am doing the UB Blast today also. I think you are right, that is what Jillybean meant. It says 2 sets behind it.

Angela- How are your legs today after the Blast yesterday??

I am still feeling miserable, but I am looking forward to UB today. It is my favorite!!!

Supersets Upper Body Blast premix is each upper body set done 2x's. You were right. Sorry for the confusion. Hope you're having fun!
 
That SS was a killer. I hate concentration curls the most, I almost did something else. But, I grabbed my 12's and I was sweating by the time I got done. I thought they were too hard, so the next set, I used my 10's. Too easy, but still a little hard. Those Preacher curls?? Oh My!! I had 20 lbs. on my barbell, plus my barbell weighs 5. The second set, I went down to 15 on my barbell, plus 5 for my barbell. That was more manageable. My UB really feels like it got a great workout today. Tomorrow I am going to skip the Step Blast part, I will never be able to the 3rd combo and ther Challenge. I have only done this once. I might do 1, 2, and 3, to get in some practice, and then the hi/lo, or do half of Imax 2, and then the hi/lo. Have a good weekend everyone. This week has been a great excercise week. I can't wait for next wek. Good rotation JillyBean!!!!!
