FRIDAY AT LAST!! And I don't work the weekend, YAY!

I'm also happy I got IMAX3 out of the way, started at 4 a.m. and no I wasn't a bit happy at 4:05 when I was tying my laces!! I did the w/o but I didn't feel I gave it 100%. It was probably that I am not an early exerciser and the fact that I just came of that HSC/first half of MIC w/o just 12 hours ago.

Hope everybody else is doing well. One more day folks and we have a rest day. I've never looked more forward to a rest day in my life!!
 
Ditto, I am rally looking forward to a rest day. I'm getting ready to do IMAX3 in a few mintues. Have a great day everyone!
 
Hi,

Couldn't deal with another high impact day, so I did Pam Cosmi's new step tape. Great workout! Complex choreography and impact, but not the constant pounding Cathe can manifest. Also did Ab hits. HSC on board for tomorrow, Sunday - Coremax and Stretchmax, then Imax 3 on Monday, when I feel fresh again.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've been so tired doing these workouts, I'm afraid that maybe I'm overtraining? I did HSC and the first half of MIC yesterday. For the first time, I had to stop MIC early, I kept taking breaks and I finally decided to let it go and I only had 5 minutes left:-(. The day b4, I barely made it through Low Max and I only used two risers and I stopped short of the CTX arm drillsx( . So this morning, I did nothing. I think I need a day off. Or, maybe, I'll see how I feel this afternoon after work.
I'm glad to see I'm not alone--I guess misery loves company huh?;-)

morning everyone!! well. today I am doing imax 2 because i like it more :) and since its my fav, i might be able to finish it with my poor achy legs. Katrina, you are doing the right thing, just listen to your body. Yesterday I cheated a little since I dont have MIC and just did light spinning for awhile. I bet you'll still see great results at the end of the month!

How's the eating going for everyone?? Yesterday was a terrrrrrible day for me, just plain old bad. I went to bed with a tummy ache and I'm not even hungry this morning. I am just going to listen to my body today, and give it what it needs. ah wish me luck! lol

Hello everyone,
Today I did Rhythmic Step as I don't have Imax3, but felt the need not to do any more interval work this week. I also have a challenging bike ride tomorrow with some much faster riders that I think I will need all my strength for. Believe me, my pulls at the front (if any) won't be very long. I'll just get behind the biggest guy and stay there.

I'm also fighting off getting a cold. I've noticed my legs haven't recovered and I still get some burning since this week started. Hmmm. Hopefully this will go away soon. I haven't lost weight, but that little layer of fat has gotten less so I'm happy about that. I'll be looking for that rest day on Sunday for sure. I'm also passing on the Hardcore Extreme workout for tomorrow due to the bike ride. Wow, my rotation doesn't resemble Cathe's at all, I've modified it so much.

Hi Conni. I was looking on collage video last night and saw Pam's new step workout called Steppin' in Rhythm. Is this the one that you did? Glad to hear that you liked it. I was wondering how it was. Have a great day.

I don't have to work today so I'll be doing my cardio as soon as I log off here. I don't have IMAX3 either but will be doing IMAX2 instead. My body is a bit achey today. After finishing the MIC portion yeasterday I was soooo tired! I hadn't done that one in a while - now I remember why! :) Overall I feel pretty good but am looking forward to my rest day come Sunday! Susan
 
I made it through IMAX 3, just barely. I have noticed that I'm a lot hungrier than usual the last few days. I''m thinking about subbing one of the terminator workouts in place of a hardcore extreme workout for tomorrow. I don't know if I can face anything from IMAX 3 again for the next little while. x( ;-)
 
Hi Sherry and others-
I finished IMAX3 too. I did the first 8 intervals on the Treadmill and the last 2 spinning. I was one sweaty girl afterwards. With all this intense work I thought doing an extended cool down might help, so I just rode at a steady easy pace for twice the length of the cool down.

* FYI I've also been spending 5" in a hot tub post workout to relax my legs.

* A Terminator WO sound fine for tomorrow IMHO.

I made it through the first week! (I started Sunday) I just finished Hardcore Extreme 3, during the Kickmax leg drills my legs were only a few inches off the floor, LOL. My legs are really going to enjoy a rest tomorrow, I may do a pilates tape on my rest day tomorrow I'll see. Sunday, I'll start week 2 I'm thinking of doing HCE 2 with the low max/Imax 3 mix. The only problem with this one is I find that I like my step at 8" for Low max and 6" for Imax 3 so I find that I'm always switching them. What does everyone else do for this one??

I did do the HSC and first half of MIC last night. I did MIC first. I was dreaming of a rebounder during MIC. Sometimes the high impact really bothers me. I don't have IMAX 3, so I am going to do the first 5 intervals of Interval Max and the last half of MIC tonight. I missed it the other night because I wasn't well. Saturday I will do something from Terminator because I don't have Hardcore Extreme.

Great work everyone. I am really surprised that I have been able to do this rotation so far. The w/os have been making me tired for sure, but I feel encouraged that I am fit enough to finish them. A year ago, that wouldn't have been at all possible.
 
Yippee I've survived week 1 of the rotation. Today I did Harcore Extreme #3. My legs were dying during the plie jacks. I put "my game face on" for the tuck jumps and had my knees against my chest with great height. My legs were begging for mercy during the leg drills. I did some extra leg stretching at the end to Footloose. I am totally looking forward to tomorrow's rest day.

Tomorrow I'm going for a family swim with my hubby, 6 year old and four year old. Then I'm going to soak in the hot tub until I'm a prune....then on to a one hour swedish/sports massage. I figure the massage therapist will have a challenge as every muscle in my back, shoulders and legs feel tight right now. My butt muscles feel like rocks right now. This rotation rocks!

Hey gals, can I join your thread? I am following the January rotation too. I can't believe that this morning when I got up I was thinking to myself that I 'only' had to do IMAX3 and nothing else. But now that we're pretty far into the week I had to do it on a 6" step instead of my normal 8" because this extra cardio has given me a slight case of shin splints in my right leg. Like the others here I'm not looking forward to another round of IMAX intervals in HC Extreme tomorrow let alone the Kick Max drills. Are they killer or what? The only thing helping me hang on is the rest day on Sunday (if I survive).

My butt and thighs are now very aware of the change in routine and they aren't liking it LOL!
 
Sure TK join right in. I was thankful for only a one hour w/o today too but I had to do IMAX3 this morning at 4 a.m., and I've decided NEVER AGAIN will I do an IMAX that early in the morning. I'm feeling this rotation too and seeing results already. I'm doing HCX#3 tomorrow also. Every time I do that one when she goes right out of an IMAX3 blast into those KM high impact drills, THIS HAS GOT TO BE A MISTAKE!! I'm not looking forward to it but I'll do it!

Yeah, that is the one! I just got it a few days ago. I like to think of Pam as a cross between Franny and Christi with a little Patrick thrown in. Got my heart rate up also, not as wacko as an Imax, but higher than some of Christi's latest stuff. New moves, great personality, a real keeper!
