And week #3 begins..... }(

HCTXtreme #2 for me (LM and IMAX3 alternating intervals).

Stay tough girls, we're halfway there!!

Good morning everyone!

I don't have HC Extreme so I did Imax 1 and ab hits.

Have a great Monday!

Well the boredom factor has set in with HC Extreme so I subbed it. I recently bought a group of 18 mostly step DVDs off eBay. After reviewing them over the weekend, I decided to try Charlene Prickett's 'Crazy for Step' this morning. If anyone here has ever done this one, you would probably agree with me that the name should be 'Step Insanity' LOL. It's all done on a 10 inch step and it goes for about 70 minutes with no breaks. With the 10 inch step I was worried about how my knees would take the extra step height, but they came thru just fine. My HR teetered at the high end of aerobic and low end of anaerobic the whole workout which was excellent. It's definitely a keeper.

I followed 'Step Insanity' with 'all abs' from CTX. I had Coremax on TIVO but my DVR fried a couple weeks ago and I lost it. I think this Wed and Fri Coremax 1 and 2 are running on FIT TV so hopefully I'll get them back for next go 'round.

Just received my Step Jump and Pump in the mail so I did that today followed by the abs portion of "Strong Legs & Abs:. SJ&P was a lot of fun. I see it's on the menu for later in the week too! Will be taking Ruby for her walk/jog a little later too.

I am wondering how it will feel like to do 400 JJ's in the morning! I'd rather do more jumping rope!:) I shall do as Cathe asks of me - at least I'll try! Have a good one! Susan

Hi ladies,
The cold that I've been fighting off until my niece's wedding on Saturday has finally arrived. I feel okay, but think overdoing on cardio will tax me so I will pick up the 3rd week next week (hopefully). I'll be doing easier workouts and listening to my body this week. Actually, this morning I did do a 30 minute beginner Power Yoga (Bryan Kest.) and that felt great.

Today was day 2 of week #3 for me.
It started with pulling my daughter in the sleigh to school and pulling my son home in the sleigh. We had a bit of a blizzard yesterday. Freezing rain covered everything and then 6" of snow on top of the thick ice. The walk was an adventure (3 near face planters) and quite the workout (40 minutes round trip). After a hot chocolate break I did Muscular Endurance. I still have the walk to get my daughter home and both kids want to go in the sleigh on the return...thus my add-ons today are sleigh pulls through deep snow while slipping on ice.
Keep up the good work everyone!

How in the world did I forget HCX#2 has those KM blasts at the end, geez!!! LOL... My workout is done. The rest day yesterday was heaven and I'm feeling much stronger today for it.

Off to get some things done.

Oh no! Today, instead of working out I spent 3.5 hours straight sanding drywall in the room we are renovating. So between that, groceries, and cleaning, my day is gone. :/ I was debating working out later tonight. Do you guys think I should? I feel like I have the energy, but I dont want to over do it. Suppossedly, you burn 300 cal/hour just sanding! Can you believe that. I did get pretty hot while doing all that manual labor. Lol

Alright, Let me know what you think!!! -Tina

Posting for accountability (must get better at this!). I missed 2 days of workouts last week. So, I did L&G + a CTX cardio workout yesterday, and did PUB + a 40 minute run (including a HUGE hill) this morning. 550 and 675 calories burned, respectively.

As others have mentioned, I'm finding that I am extremely hungry doing this rotation (especially mid-day) and really need to watch what I'm putting in my mouth! I've actually gained about a pound over the past 2 weeks. Probably due mainly to being inconsistent (and the overeating :p ).

ME, jacks & jump rope tomorrow morning.
