Good morning fitness folks...


Yesterday wasn't too bad. It helps that I love KM. My legs were feeling a little like lead when I started stepping though but I finished it.

Today is MM and I'll be doing that for the first time. I previewed it last night to get my weight selections sets. It looks pretty intense. There seems to be a lot of low ends in that one! OUCH!}(

As I look at the w/o for today, this is one day I'm thinking "how am I going to run after MM?!!:eek: " I think running afterwards is best so I can give my best effort to MM and I'll be all warmed up (fried that is) for my run!

How is everybody else doing?
 
Good Morning Jane and everyone who follows!

I am going to try to join you with MM and a run today. I thought that I might split it up though and do MM in the morning and the run later in the day.
Also, just coming off being sick,(and I have a busy morning) I might do the timesaver premix and instead of an interval run, just do a steady state jog. I will skip the abs because mine are already FRIED from CM#2 yesterday ! (all those pull ins and pikes!!!!

It sounds like a lot of modifications, but I think I'll still get a good workout!!

Yes, Jane, as I recall the lowends and the band work about does me in !!!!!

Hi Jane and Becky-
I have the same WO as you Jane. I 'm planning on doing the run first and then skip the MM WU sine I'll be plenty warm.

I still have DOMS in my lower body so I thought the run first might help. I will take it slow and increase to intervals as tolerated. Of course I may be jumping on the bike if I feel any pulling in my heel. x(

Hi all - I have DOMS today from yesterday's MM, specifically my chest and lower back. I have been focusing so much on cardio that I fear that I've lost some of my strenght gains. Maybe my next rotation will focus on that. Today will be a rest day for me. I need to take a day off during the week. It help soften the blow of waking up at 4:15! Tomorrow I'll pick up with LOMAX and the 2nd half of IMAX 2. Maybe tonight I'll do some stretching or pilates work.

Hello!

Today was MM, which I've always liked. My upper body feels so warm right now. I went light on the legwork as I plan on doing a Spinerval after work, instead of the run.

I woke up with a very sore throat, but it's gone now. I feel fine, cross your fingers. I've been fighting off this thing for over a month now. It just needs to get lost.

I am looking forward to MM today. I'll do some floor aerobics for the cardio. I'm starting to feel a bit tired and it's only Tuesday, yikes! Oh well, the show must go on. ;-)

My workout is complete for the day (yay). I've never run directly after doing a weight workout, but in the end it really wasn't too bad. My legs are feeling a bit fried now but during the run they were fine. Funny thing is that it didn't take long at all to get my HR up into anaerobic state. Going into the run already fatigued probably contributed in that respect!

Thank goodness I realized last night that I also needed a complete wardrobe change in between weights and running so I put a clean pair of sweats and my running shoes right next to the door. I was able to do a quick change and get right out there running before I could talk myself out of it LOL.

I just looked at what we have coming tomorrow. Low Max and the second half of IMAX2. Hoo boy.
 
Ok, today's MM and interval run are done.:7

I chose to do the interval run first. I did a 10" warm up and then 17" of intervals: 2.5" runing / 1" fast walking. Then skipping the MM warm up, but doing a good leg stretch I went right into the MM workout. I chose the 56" time saver. I did total body with the Gauntlet on Monday and we have PUB later in the week , so I'm confident the Time saver routine was adequate. I went very heavy on UB and light on LB weights. The DOMS in my glutes persist.

I dread sitting on the toilet, and of course with all this water x(... well any way.

Well I am back and I did MM in full (minus abs, which are fried from yesterday) and a 25 min. jog.
Yeah! It felt good and I am sure to have DOMS all over the place tomorrow!!:p
 
Hey ladies,

Today was MM and a 20 minute run. I love MM, I think that may be my favorite weight workout from Cathe. I must admit, I'm already dreading LM and MIC tomorrow:( .

Well, last night's workout was a disaster. I didn't have any of the videos so I tried substitutions. I started with Kathy Smith's Kickbox, which really didn't go over well with me. Then I did Step and Intervals from CTX, the best part of my w/o. Then I tried Step Blast, and couldn't do it, so then I gave up. I was already feeling very frustrated from Kathy Smith, and I was having a problem with my DVD player. I just got a 5 disc changer and a programmable remote, and the remote wouldn't let me choose w/0s from the right hand side of the menu. Every time I tried to get the selector over there, the disc player switched discs. URGGG. I was very frustrated at that point. I wanted to do the first half of SJP, but of course I couldn't select it and had to settle for SB, which I hate. So then I was more frustrated, started SB, couldn't do it, and gave up after the first segment.

Sorry, long story :)

I don't have MM either, so I am going to sub BodyMax, I think, for the entire w/o.
 
Good afternoon!

Well today I did a 30 minute walk (getting my daughter to school), LowMax, interval 6 and part of interval 7 of Imax2...then my knee and both ankles sent out simultaneous warning signals "don't do high impact!". I listened to my body and switched to cool down and added Stretch Max 2. That helped considerably as I'm now moving with no pain.

Tomorrow I have my first Advanced Jazz dance class since April of last year. I very excited! I love to dance and my eyes have healed enough from the lasik surgery to let me dance!

It's funny how at the start of this week I had tons of energy and day 4 of this week I'm hitting a wall.
 
Well today I did Muscle Endurance cuz I don't have MM. My legs are stll really sore after all those walking lunges! Now they're worse!:eek: I am not going to run, but I am going to go for about a 45 minute walk in just a bit. Have a good night - Susan
 
I LOVE Muscle Max!! LOVE IT. I really enjoyed that one. The 20 minute run afterwards was not bad at all. Some of these w/o's look worse on paper than they actually are, then again, some of them are as bad!}(

Off to feed the horses and then myself. One more day down.
 
I did a Spinerval after work today, MM this morning. I feel great and for once, I feel my back muscles have worked. Usually, I never feel them from a workout. Love it!
