Good morning fitness buddies....

Those jj's and jump rope were definitely a calf w/o yesterday!! I don't think I've worked my calves that hard for that long before. They aren't sore yet but probably will be before the day is out.

BodyMax today. I'll probably be late checking in again today. This week is crazy, I have something to do every day after work!! I just can't work out at 4 a.m., I've tried and it's just not me.

Becky - I believe I've seen it mentioned before that high reps endurance work can be done back to back. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this was asked of Cathe on one of the earlier rotations we did, Upper Body Bliss maybe??? where there were weight w/o's back to back and I'm pretty sure this is what she said.

Good morning all!

Today is a rest day for me, so Jane, now we'll be in synch with our workouts. I like taking a day off midweek. It breaks everything up.
Tomorrow should be CK. I don't run, so I think I'll do some stretching. Phyllis

Good Morning Everyone!

Today Baby Brayden & My DD get to go home from the hospital !:D

I have my DD's favorite coffee cake in the oven right now and I hope to get it over to her for a late breakfast/lunch treat. BUT overnight it snowed and school is delayed and the roads are covered, and it's still snowing, so I might not be going ANYWHERE for a while!:-(

With school delayed and my other DD home when I usually workout, I might alter my workout AGAIN today. In fairness, I can't really claim to be on the rotation with everyone this month.....I've just had to do too much subbing, skipping or doing my own thing! I'm bummed about missing so much but it just hasn't been a good month for me in terms of following a tough, time-consuming rotation!

I will do Bodymax if I can squeeze in the time, otherwise I will do a premix or just pick something else that fits my day better!

I finally got the pictures of Brayden up and the album fixed....

Becky, what a beautiful boy he is!:) Congrats again!

I will be doing Bodymax as soon as the kids are off at school. Since I don't have to work today, I got to sleep in an extra hour. Now I have tons of energy for Cathe! :)

i dont have body max, so i'm going to sub with either spinning or part of SB and some of my own endurance work.

Sorry I didn't check in yesterday, DH were at the hospital for some MS stuff, so I didn't have a chance to check in after getting in to work.
Yesterday was ME, today was Bodymax. That workout is fun!!! I am so glad Cathe is coming out with another one in this next set.

BodyMax is my favorite of all the Cathe workouts I have. Unfortunately, I got off rotation and somehow did a full body workout yesterday. I was trying to sub for her workout and must have mis-read so I did 10-10-10, Power Circuit and the UB split from CTX. So today will have to be all cardio. I might just go to the gym and do 1 hour of tough cardio there. It might help my knees, as they have been a bit achey due to this rotation.
 
Finished BodyMax and I am sweaty! My muscles were a bit tired from M.E yesterday but I pushed on!:) Looking forward to a cardio day tomorrow. Hope to wake up early to fit the whole thing in before work.

My shoulders were making bizarre noises during BodyMax's shoulder and tricep weights yesterday so I substituted Angles, Lines & Curves II for Cardio Kicks today. I forgot just how much fun A,L,C II is...although the plank position where your belly button is towards the ceiling and then she has you lift one leg and then the other is pure evil.
I'm also doing two 30 minute walks today so that should make my joints grateful for a break from high impact.
 
ok, so I had to practice my step routine- i start teaching next week! I think its going to occupy alot of my time... but i'm going to try to stick to the rotation. tomorrow I plan on doing the planned workout plus only half of the workout i am going to teach. this will really blast away the fat! lol -tina
 
Hi all! Body Max completed this morning. Is it me, or does it seem like the rotation is getting a little easier on the body now? The first week I was really sore. The second week I was only mildly sore. This week my muscles feel like they've been used but not necessarily sore.

I see we have another run tomorrow. The weather here in Delaware has been mild this month and I've been lucking out weather-wise when the rotation calls for a run. If it were really cold out I would blow off running for sure. For some reason I have no problem running in the heat, the rain, or wind but just hate running in the cold. The cold weather gives me a runny nose and that drives me crazy! Does this happen to anyone else besides me? How do you deal with it?
 
Good afternoon all! Well - I couldn't quite get myself out of bed this morning in time to get a work out in. I had planned "treat night" (out for my favorite pizza), but did manage to talk myself into working out instead (yay me, she says, patting herself on the back).

I think this is the first time I've done Bodymax in its entirety (even though it was my first DVD!). Whew! 725 calories burned, and my abs are going to be sore tomorrow!
 
TK, this is definitely an easier week for me. None of those nose-bleed interval w/o's like IMAX's back to back!! BodyMax actually felt "easy" to me tonight. I can't believe I just said that, but it did. Even with the 100 mph step Cathe does at the start!!

Tomorrow is another late w/o for me, have a hair appt tomorrow afternoon and another errand to run. I won't get that run in because I'm sure it will be dark or close to it when I get home. I'll tack it on somewhere. Cardio Kicks tomorrow and I just got this DVD so it'll be the first time I'll be doing this one.
