January Rotation - 1-17

Good morning fellow rotationers....

Yesterday was a great w/o for me, HCX#2. I felt very good during and after it. I am seeing great results with this rotation on all fronts. My legs felt like powerhouses on those plie jacks, I thought "wow, I'm not dying on these"!!!

Today is ME which I absolutely love! I don't have a jump rope but may try to rig up one if I can find something up at the barn. I'm thinking baling twine but not sure if it would be heavy enough. If not, I'll do the jump rope part without the rope like on one of the KM blasts. 400 jumping jacks and boy will we ever need that 5 minutes of calf stretching!!

Becky, if there was ever an excuse for not getting in a workout, this is it!!!! I'm so happy for you!

Phillis- It is good to get that heads up and see that you lived through one more day each time we check in! (Since you are a day ahead, that is)

Jane- OK, I waited too long yesterday tostart my WO (I forgot to set the timer as I mentioned in my PM) I had to go back later and do the leg conditioning drills without a warmup; they didn't feel so good on stiff legs.

I was thinking of doing the Jump rope and Jump jack segment right after the WU of ME before I got too tired. I'll let ya know how
it goes.

PS Jane- With Kids home yesterday and 2 hockey games, today is my Monday and Tuesday. Therefore I have to bless my home and do grocery shopping! yikes!

Hello! Woke up nice and early ( 4:15) and did M.E followed by those lovely jumping jacks and jumped rope for 10-15 minutes. The first part of my jump roping was me fighting with the darn thing! After a bit I got my rythmn down. My calves sure needed that stretch!
Looking forward to Body Max tomorrow! :) Susan
 
hi ladies! well today i am going to do ME and Imax 3, because i have the time and need to make up yesterday. I think tho, I will break them up so I have enough energy to do both. I had lost about 3 lbs, but got my period today and gained 4. lol I'll just leave the scale alone for a week. How are you all progressing?

Well I survived BodyMax and tacked on 15 minutes of StretchMax. I found my endurance had improved during BodyMax since the last time I did it (3 months ago).
 
Later today than usual....

I did ME with the 400 jumping jacks, 10 min of jump rope and 5 min of calf stretching. My calves were tightening up painfully after 200 jj's, so I stretched, then did 5 min of jump rope and stretched followed by 200 more jj's, stretch again, then the last 5 minutes of jump rope. I added a good long 5 minute calf stretch at the end. Boy that worked the calves!!
 
I'm posting late too. DH had outpatient sinus surgery this morning so I had to get up super early to do the workout then spend the bulk of the day in a hospital waiting room. Since he needs to keep his head elevated he'll be sleeping in the recliner in our living room tonight. Being the nice guy that he is, he volunteered to move upstairs in the morning so I can do my workout. What a guy!

I subbed the jump rope with 15 minutes running. The 400 jumping jacks seemed like they took forever, didn't they?

My clothes are feeling looser too but the scale hasn't moved. Maybe next week.
 
I did ME only.....none of the jumping rope or other extras. I thought I'd get to the bike this evening, but lack of sleep for several nights is catching up to me and I'm not going to do it.

I see tomorrow is Bodymax. Is it okay to do the U/B workout right after the U/B in ME today??
Just wondering if it's a typo or it's okay to do....
 
Reporting in: Got through ME + jacks and jump rope (faking the rope part). My calves were screaming for mercy. I didn't have time to stretch much, but did spend a little extra time in a very hot shower.

Body Max tomorrow is going to be tough... have to be at work at 7:15. I have to keep reminding myself: no excuses! (Especially since the scale continues to move in the wrong direction. A cookie during a break today didn't help...).
