Jan 26th Pregnancy Check In Week

Jen - thanks :) I'm so glad the dresser is DONE.
The sharp pains are probably the baby pushing down. With Noah it happened ALOT near the end but alot of the time it was obvious it was him cause I could feel it was him pushing or kicking and his head would bop down and it HURTS! have you asked the dr though to be sure?
Your doing pretty good on your workouts too. I think by 37 weeks last time I had slowed down quite a bit and was mostly just walking.
I bought STS but haven't got a shipping notice yet. You must've been one of the first ones to order. I ordered in February.

Clarissa -oooh be careful!! and yeah that'd really stink to be on bedrest. I don't know what the heck I'd do if I was on bedrest. I have too much to take care of around here. but I know everyone must feel that way if that happens.

Tana- thanks ;) the bedding is JJ Cole -blue mod.. but I got a new set on ebay about half price than it is sold online. the blue sheet has circles on it but you can't see it in the pic. I got some spare sheets at target that are white/blue that look fine with it for backups.

I think my uterus would fall out!

Much better sleeping last night. I had an awesome workout this morning. One of my clients let me borrow three of her Biggest Loser DVDs. I could do everything w/o any problem and added a lot more intensity, but it was a nice change. Then I went to the gym and my client was a no show. That was a bummer. I'm traveling later for work so I won't be so active with you all later.

Have a GREAT day!!!

Good Morning Everyone! hope you are all feeling good today? :)
I did not get to bed until midnite last nite, so im really feelig it this morning. Hope today is not too bad at work.

Jess thanks for your input on those pains. They never feel good and im sure they are normal. I guess im just not sure if its the start of labor. Altho I think labor is more of an extreme cramping feeling as opposed to sharp pains?? I dont know..

I tried to read the link you posted and saw someone gave birth to 8 babies! Then it froze my computer and i had to shut it down and I went to bed. But that is amazing. Carrying one is hard enough!!!

Jess, thanks for sharing that link. 8 babies! Wow! And the biggest was over 3 lbs?? Can't imagine the feeling of all of them squirming/moving around.

Clarissa, sending you some speedy healing vibes too! Possible c-section and post delivery surgery and physical therapy...YUCK!

Laura, have a great day too! And safe travels!

Jen, great job on the workouts! Has the baby already turned?

My dr has me concerned that mine won't turn. DS was breach b/c the u-cord was wrapped around his neck & arm so he was stuck. The dr this time asked me if my last dr said anything about my uterus being funny shaped. Strange. My last dr didn't say anything. Can you tell when the baby has turned?

Hello to Skyy! I'm off to do a little housework before DS comes home.

hello everyone.
not much to report here. I'm thinking of using this thing called the easy knitter to make a "cocoon" for baby pics. I got it today. so we'll see if I can do it. Check out this photographers blog for cute NB pics. http://kryden.typepad.com/my_weblog/ I "plan" to take some but we'll see. I've become such a huge procrastinator but I'll kick myself for missing the newborn phase that comes and gos too fast! I plan to do maternity pics in a month or so.

I got my shipping confirmation today for STS. It is exciting even though I won't do it yet. I'll watch parts to check it out. I'm feeling like a huge slug the last few days. My hips aren't really sore but feel a bit weird when I walk and its uncomfy. Feels like they are spreading out or something. I've been busy with projects so I need to jump back into my w/o's.

My ribs are starting to bug me alot mostly at night. It can really start bugging me when I'm trying to sleep. I feel like I need to stretch back and make more room for the baby cause he's all up in my ribs already. I also am again having trouble being comfy even with all my pillows. oy the joys of pregnancy! lol.
I know most of you experience the same stuff. well catch up tomorrow.

Hi everyone,

Wow about the 8 babies at one time!!! What a blessing. Today has been uneventful. Tomorrow I hit 34 Weeks and I am feeling pretty good. I have been drinking more water, so no more drama in that department.

I decided to be bold and go ahead and post a 34 week picture. Now be nice everyone.... I know that I am big.

Anyway, It is snowing here and I love it. being inside, drinking decafe tea, and watching the snow outside. What could be better. I am not working on any projects tonight. I am trying to finish up the book that I am reading... The story of edgar sawtelle.......

Oh.. I did get my shipment notice for STS.... It will be here on Thursday.. I'm happy about that!!!

Well...enjoy your night.

Skyy - you don't look much different than me and I am a few days behind you... If I find the time, I will take a pic and post one soon too, okay? You look really good - no stretch marks either on you, right? I don't see any!

Keep healthy, everyone!

Clarissa

Hi Everyone, i hope you are all doing well tonite :)
im just settling in for the evening and its almost nine already. maybe i will go to bed by midnite tonite!
i did a workout this evening, a body combat kickbox one. i did not feel lie working out but i needed to and those are always fun.

jess im sorry you are uncomfortable, i hope you find some relief soon. sometimes changing positions or piling up some pillows at nite might help, but it sounds like you already do the pillow thing

skyy, your pics are great! You look wonderful! Dont be so hard on yourself :) I know it takes courage to post belly pics, i am always hesitant but do it anyway.

I was having more of those sharp pains again this afternoon but they seemed to have disappeared for the evening.

Tana-- I forgot to say that your picture is cute. When I had my ultrasound the face wasn't as clear.

Jess-- the dresser came out nice. It looks like it matched the crib perfectly.

Clarissa-- I do have some strech marks, I was just trying to hide them:p

Jen---pain, pain go away....... (that worked when I was little). Hope you had a restful night.

Good night all

Good morning everyone! I hope today finds you all well.

I could be better - again i did not get to bed until midnite, even with the intention of going to bed by 11 at the latest. Dont ask me what i was doing becuase i really dont know!

I did my bodycombat workout, and i think i pulled a muscle. i dont remember hurting myself during the workout but i dont know what else it could be. my lower left back/ upper left glute really hurts and now i have to limp around becuase it kills to walk! And i ahve to walk slow. everyone thinks its the baby but its really my back :( Ugh...

sorry to whine lol :) Other than being tired and sore, im doing well. Just two more days to get thru, then its my weekend. I MUST PACK MY HOSPITAL BAG this weekend!! No excuses!!!

hope you all have a wonderful day!
oh, i just checked the tracking on my STS pkg. Its scheduled to be here tomorrow, but its stil showing as being in NJ. the last update was 1/26. Not that it matters, i wont be doing it until after the baby gets here. But knowing me i'll dive right into it this weekend lol

Hi everyone,

I decided to be bold and go ahead and post a 34 week picture. Now be nice everyone.... I know that I am big.

You are absolutely beautiful!!! I love your belly (even though I'm having a VERY hard time dealing with my own--what is THAT about???). I can look at a pregnant woman and think, "Wow she is gorgeous." But when I think about my own belly expanding....I'm really struggling with this.

Thanks Skyy2 for sharing. I really appreciate it. And I really do think you're beautiful. :D

Laura... Thanks so much. I really do feel bad about not keeping up with my fitness since being pregnant. And to tell you the truth, I worry that I will never get my fitness level back.

This morning was weird. I didn't have to go to work. I got up and drank some water and immediately got sick. It all came up!! and I only had water in my system. What's up with that? DH was wondering if morning sickness comes back in the end. I honestly don't remember.

Skyy: I've felt sick (only nauseaus -- sp--) as well this late in the pregnancy and was like "What the heck???"

Laura i think we all struggle with feeling the way we do about our own bodies but when we see someone else we think its beautiful! I think that is pretty common. We are always our own worst critics though!
But honestly, seeing everyone post has been great and i think everyone on this board is beautiful and looks great and healthy! We are building a life inside of us, and we need to keep that in mind. There is always time to get back on track post baby as well so Skyy, dont worry so much about the workouts.

My STS is in Florida , i sould be getting it tomorrow. Anyone else buy STS?

Im afraid i cant offer any advice on being sick in the third trimester. I was very lucky in this pregnanc in that i did nto get sick once, even in the beginning. But i have heard you get sick in the end again, so anything is possible. I really dont think there is any normal symptom in pregnancy! :)

WHere are you today Jess??

Jen -doing ok thanks! :) sorry about your muscle. I hope it heals quick. be careful! thats why I'm leary of trying STS. It may be too intense. not sure though. I'm starting to feel like I get a workout carrying this belly around. lol. ;)
My STS should be here Friday. I guess being I can't get all gung ho with it helps with my patience. ha. otherwise I'd probably be chomping at the bit for it to get here too. I'm sad I won't be doing it with everyone else and Cathe. oh well.
I stayed up too late last night also and ended up sleeping in an hour later today. its nice I "can" do that but I don't want too. I still have stuff to do around here. I usually wake up about the same time everyday so it must've been cause I stayed up late. I will set my alarm tomorrow. I like the radio to come on to wake me up... real alarm sounds are not a pleasant way to wake up for me ha.

Skyy- you look great. Don't worry. I was in the best shape ever after my first son. I know it can be done. Its just hard at first due to lack of sleep and having your hands so full but after a bit I tend to fall into a rutt of not working out. I gotta keep it a habit ya know. So even if I'm doing easy workouts 3 times a week its better than nothing. even walking. Just so I keep that part of my life and habits. kwim? so thats why I'm looking to have a few shorter/easier workouts around after baby so the dread isn't there and I can try to get the time for atleast that much. As I get more time then I can increase intensity and duration.
I hope the sickness goes away. I'm not sure about it being m/s. I only threw up once this pregnancy but I think it was due to the migrane not m/s. I sometimes get them that bad where I get sick.

Laura -It really is crazy how our bodies change during pregnancy. I think its probably hardest with your first but I still deal with it stressing me some too.

----------
I did a turbo jam last night. they are great to get me moving again cause there is no dread factor. It also is still pretty good w/o for being preggo. I will get home late tonight but want to do some weights or something.

Glad to see you Jess! Glad you enjoyed turbo jam! :) I did not workout last nite. I spent tme being a bum with my DH, which is always nice. Will do the same tontie, and my pops is coming over. DH Is cooking turkey burgers with sauteed onions and mushrooms to put on top. yum! like my fat booty needs all that.

Hope all of my preggo friends are doing great this morning. Its my friday (yay). Tomorrow i have my 37 week checkup. I go once a week from now until baby gets here. Hard to beleive! I got the strep b swab done last week, wonder if they tell me the results tomorrow or not. I hope i dont have that , one less thing to worry about!

Hope you all have a fantastic day!

Skyy, great belly pic! Mine looks the same size as yours. = ) Are you feeling better? Any more nausea?

I haven't worked out in over a week and I'm bummed about it too. My upper hamstring/lower buttocks gets really sore in the evening. I had a couple of days where one of my hips would be in great pain. I keep pulling little muscles and I haven't been doing too much. I get on the ground and crawl around with DS when playing, but dang that should be super easy on me. Ugh...I don't remember the last pregnancy being strenuous muscle/body-wise. Sigh...my DH reminded me that I'm almost 5 yrs older now. I should smack him with my exercise log.

On a positive... pre-pregnancy we're all active, fit, healthy, aware of our bodies and how exercise benefits us...plus we're all Cathe fans! And we KNOW she can whip our postnatal butts back into shape! As she says "you're a very educated crowd". And we are!

Tana -yeah my last pregnancy I was 23. I worked out the whole pregnancy like it was nothing. For some reason this time its taking more outta me. I think there are factors like the other kids to care for etc. Plus alot on my mind. You have a little guy and that takes it out of you right there. I'm doing my best though too. My midwife says when I start comparing to "last time" that I'm older now and it's my third pregnancy. haha. (I'll be 30 this summer)

Jen - Hope your appt goes really well. goodluck :). Turkey burgers sounds yummy!

Hi everyone,

Tana-- I am feeling better today. I don't know what was happening yesterday. I ended up sleeping the day away. I was still a little tired today as well. I think that my iron level is down again.

My STS arrived today. I spent a few hours previewing the first two days. Cathe did really well on this system. I've read throught the guide and I am just amazed at how professional everything is. I can't wait to start this!!
