It's September! Who cares?!

Ronne, I will pray for the best outcome for you. The not knowing is the worst.

Not much new here, working, working out and cleaning! I sound so dull! Lisa, hope you are having fun with DH. Hello to everyone else! Have to go get the dogs from the groomer. Mary

Hello

Mary - it's gone very quiet around here! Thank you. Don't worry, that's pretty much what I've been doing recently.

Did GS BS (no B) today plus Stretch Max 3. We're enjoying a mini heatwave at the moment. The sun is shining, it's really warm, I'm still in shorts!

Good Morning,

I have been on vacation this week just spending time with grandbabies and hanging out at the lake when it's not raining.

Ronne-I remember the stress when DH got laid off.

HI girls! Today did MM, the live version. Ronne, perfect day here, 75, sunny and no humidity. Roxie, sounds like you are having a great week, enjoy! Lisa, you still biking all around? Hello to Murphy and Jody! Have to clean the upstairs today. I haven't touched the twins rooms yet,it feels so empty, maybe today? Good day to all! Mary

HI all! Sorry to be MIA, DH and I had a good time in mountains, ended up cycling 75 miles in 2 days, got home and I was so exhausted I rested yesterday (and got a massage--got a tight spot out of my lower levator scalpular and top rhomboid right as both come into the shoulder blade. She said DH couldn't get it out because it hides when upright, so now I know how to lay for that bit to be able to be gotten to. I feel much better there now, amazing how a little niggling pain just exhausts you and you realize it when it's dealt with), anyway, today Suki and I walked 3 miles today and I didn't wear an ankle brace (felt naked!), feeling ok, a bit sore in the tendons in the foot. Also did 4DS bi;/tri only. Mary, DH had such a nice time that we are thinking of getting up to South Dakota to a bike path there. We are slowly building up, to further away ones and longer....SD is 110 miles long so we need to look for someone to shuttle us back to our hotel with the bikes instead of riding out and back. I'm sure it still feels weird with the twins gone....it takes time to adjust, no more "allergies"? I swear I had them for at least a month after my first went away. Ronne, I hope everything works out for DH. Did I remember this happening before (a few years back?). My old company is cutting big time this year, all of us old timer IBMers are so glad to be out. What does DH do? Roxie, sounds like a nice vacation.

Hi girls! Quick post, have to get dinner to youngest DS before the football game. Worked today, just did yesterday's Cathe live. Lisa, what a great trip! Sounds like you two are really enjoying yourselves. Yes, still miss them awful, I miss their essence so much! We will get to see DD next weekend for her football game and DD in 7 weeks for family weekend. i miss their shoes by the back door, I sound crazy! I better get moving! Good day to all! Mary

Hey all! Just a puttering along 17;.5 mile ride up lots of hills. Looks like DH may be getting on another project, we are looking to squeeze in the SD bike trip next week, I hope our bodies can make it! Thank goodness for pedal assist bikes in case we get tired! The trail is very remote so doing out and backs it's like 45 miles and 2500 ft elevation for 2 days in a row. That's more than we just did! It's crazy, they want $150 to transport you and your bike from whatever trailhead you want back to your car, at that rate, we're looking at just riding it both ways and breaking it up and only doing half of the trail for this trip. Mary, You might miss them but you guys have to be soooo proud of them! Good job! Ronne, hope all is going ok!

just a little bike ride (9 miles) so that Suki can get some running in. Hoping she's tired from being out last couple days so that she's good in the car for a quick trip up to South Dakota, so I won't be around until mid week

Hi everyone

Lisa - hope you have/had a great trip. Nice that you're making the most of the time with your DH. That does sound like a lot of money! To answer your question, DH works for a big education company creating and managing training for teachers.

Mary - you don't sound crazy. It must be very strange for you all.

Been busy with the workouts. Did yoga yesterday and Plyo Hiit scrambled premix today. I'm feeling quite energetic at the moment so I'm getting the Hiit in while I feel like it!
No news on DH yet. We've talked it through and both agree on what his next steps should be and so we can start to think about what's next.

HI girls! Just puttering around all morning, just wasting time! I did do a YouTube workout tho! How is everyone? Hope everyone is well, I need to run errands and clean this house! Good day to all, Mary

Good Evening,

I did KCM Slim Scuplt 2 this afternoon that makes 4 straight workouts. I am ready for another vacation after being back at work for 2 1/2 days.

Hello

I've been keeping up with the workouts. MMA Fusion today for a change. Not done it for a long time. Lisa, are you back from your trip yet?

Good morning! Today did a hiit work out. Ronne, I haven't done that DVD in forever! Are you going to get the new series? I'm debating, ah who am I kidding? I'm sure I will! Roxie, yes work is overrated! Except for the paycheck! Lisa, are you still biking around? Hello to Jody and Murphy! Costco today, football tomorrow night and DD has a game on Saturday then we rest! Haha! Good day to all! Mary

Hi everyone, I'm here! We got back late Tuesday, recovered all day Wed (my eyes were bleary from being so tired). The trip was great! Fabulous scenery! We will definitely go back but now know better where to stay and what part is worth riding again. Our first hotel and town(Deadwood) was really cool. All nestled in the hills. Hotel was very nice. Second town and hotel, meh, and there really is no reason we couldn't have stayed at the nicer place a 2nd night. I thought it would put us closer to home but it was really not that much closer. We ended up in the boonies driving on non paved roads to get to the 2nd city from where we parked. We actually ended up riding 135 miles and 7700 ft elevation gain! Yes we used pedal assist, made it enjoyable and we never would have covered that distance otherwise! The 2nd day was a long one of 73.5 miles, our batteries were running on fumes! And so were we! After resting yesterday, we took a little ride of only 17 miles today. I'm still tired! Sounds like everyone has been working out and here I've just been riding around! I do have to say the muscles I'm using that used to hurt are acclimating to cycling so I'm feeling stronger. Sorry for lack of personals, I'm still catching up!

Pictures for those that haven't seen (sorry Mary you'll have to see them twice)
