Hi ladies , It doesnt have to be a slow weekend on these fourms !!! We can pull together and be strong this weekend .Dont look at it as we are missing out ,but as our fellow fitness budies are well just finding out more info for us to pass along !!! They will have new info on the NEXT Series Cathe is hopefully making . That is what I can't wait for ...I know I will get on these fourms alot this weekend .:) :) :) ... So I also need people to cross thier fingers for me as I have court on Monday with my X .That is why I couldnt make the trip !!! Anyway hopefully the judge will make him pay all that child support he owes !!! LOL I dont have much faith in the State at this moment . .Oh Also having a huge BBQ / B-day party for my youngest who will be 4 on Sunday .Thats why I'm here in Idaho and not NJ !!! With Cathe !! Its OK though ... Everyone have great weekends and I hope to see you on these fourms !!! :) :) :) :) :)
 
Hi ladies. I'll try to post this weekend if I have time. I've got a pretty busy weekend planned. Tonight I"m taking my son to an amusement park (if the rain stops); tomorrow I'm taking him on a train ride and to a community festival and Sunday I have a baby shower to go to for my cousin!

That's a great attitude Mary!!!:D You are a good motivator to those of us who are feeling a little lonely this weekend!!
I don't even get on the boards much on weekends because I am usually busy with family stuff then, but it feels quieter already and I guess just KNOWING there are many lucky ones in Jersey this weekend makes it seem even worse. But you're right, they are going to take pictures and will come back with stories to tell and hopefully YES , info on the next series!!!! That's something we can all look forward to !
OH, and I had happy news the other day when DH asked me what I want for my birthday, and I told him a barbell (troylite that everyone is reccomending) and he said he'll get it for me!!!
I can't wait !!!!! Have been doing all my exercises with dumbbells and some of them (lunges with 20 pound dumbbells on my shoulders) aren't very comfortable!! Am so excited about getting a good barbell !!! :7
So thank you Mary for the uplifting post.

I'll be here too, at least for some of the weekend, though we have a busy weekend planned. Tomorrow, the Arizona home show for some more ideas for the new house, Sunday is designated "painting" day...tackling the dh's office this weekend. But I'll pop in now and then, and I'm already trying to come up with a trivia question!! And I agree....what a great idea Kathryn!

As much as I would love to be in New Jersey right now, I made the right decision to stay home. We are on the budget from hell and I'd have been forced to panhandle in my spare time to pay for nicities like a room and food. :) So, I'll check in with you kids and look at Ali's wonderful slide show of Germany. It looks so cool and green. But THIS is my happy place! Mary, I will be fantasizing about potential Cathe Series all weekend. That would be so fantastic!

Bobbi, I'm with you, this is my happy place. I may want to go on a roadtrip sometimes but I may drive, it is a 9 hour drive but I have a phobia about flying.... never flown before. If I did fly, someone would have to fly into Charlotte Douglas International and hold my hand on the flight to Philadelphia!!
 
My happy place is on a beach in southern california! Too bad I live in Denver... Naw Denver is ok but I lived in Southern Cali and really miss the water and my relaxing in the beach. It is the only tue place I can relax.

Oooh, 9 hours is'nt too bad. I am imagining a road trip, 9 hours in two days and a lovely stay at a hotel to break it up. No kids. Heaven. :)

Mmmmm, a beach in S. California does have a nice ring to it. I am usually at my mom's in Michigan and she has beach rights on Lake Michigan and I can hear the waves lapping the shore if I close my eyes and pretend I am there. Next summer for sure and maybe, in February. I have to see my mom sooner than next summer and she hates travelling so it's hard to get her out here.

Terri, right now I have Salda Green Tea but I most often use Trader Joe's Organic Green Tea. Just haven't gone in there. That's why I have no chocolate either. Budgeting stinks but I am looking at it as a timely reminder that it is absurd to have to budget and I need to be a better manager of the houselhold budget. Even with Ali's trip, I have not been mindful of my spending and now I must pay the piper and play the pauper!
