Isogenix?

FiddleFit

Cathlete
Hi,

Has anyone here heard of, or used "Isogenix"? I'm not thinking of using it, but I know someone who is, and I'm interested in learning more about it. Is it different than any other weight loss/cleansing product? Does it offer anything that couldn't be obtained by simply following a clean and healthy diet?

My friend is a convert. She's raving about it to anyone and everyone. I'm a cynical skeptic (such a lovely personality). I thought I'd ask the fitness bunch who seem to know something about everything.

Thanks,
Sandra

Thank you, eraslan. So, that's one positive endorsement. Anyone else have comments or experience with this product? I guess I spelled it wrong: it's Isagenix.

Cheers,
Sandra

There are a few people on my job doing the plan. I think it's two shakes a day and one meal, along with a cleansing formula.

I don't know, sounds like reincarnated Herbalife multi-level marketing thing to me.

Looking at the ingredients list, it looks like a whole bunch of vitamins and isolated substances thrown together. I am concerned about the calcium caseinate, natural flavors (usually MSG) and mono- and triglycerides. Personally, I think that our body knows what to do with real and whole foods but has a hard time digesting synthetic/processed food.

I have a friend who did the 9 day system twice. Not back to back, but a couple of weeks apart. Over the course of a couple of months she lost a total of 22 lbs. She said the Isagenix helped jump start her weight loss effort and that, while using the products, she had more energy than she knew what to do with.

Personally, I agree with Carola and would rather stick with food and a daily multivitamin.....
