I have been with this company for about two years and I have not tauched anything in my office, meaning I did not decorate it as others have. I have had some ladies telling me that my office is so dull and that I should do something about it.
I thought about putting up a picture or a shelf that I have at home but I was always afraid or I wasn't sure if this was allowed. My bosses office looks just like mine. Plus I have sooooooooooo many papers, binders, books, files that I don't have any space to put anything personal.
I guess my question is how many of you have your office decorated and does that make a difference. I know that it also reflects your personality but that's what I'm afraid of.
If I wanted to reflect my true self I would have Sponge Bobs all over this place. J/K Well not really. I guess I just have a problem of distinguishing between the line of what's professional and whats acceptable. Does any of this make sense? Its my first job too.
