Is there a list anywhere of the exercises in Leaner Leg...

sln

Cathlete
I did Leaner Legs last night, and every time I do that workout it about kills me (in a good way, I guess). I thought I saw here sometime a list of all the exercises, what order they are in, etc. It seems like I'm always surprised when she throws in that last set of squats, low-ends, etc. I, of course, could watch it and write everything down myself, but I was wondering if this is anywhere online. When I'm doing a work-out this tough, I like to know what's coming next, how to pace myself, etc. Thanks!

Whoops! I should have searched harder. I found it . . ....

I found the breakdown in this thread:
http://69.0.137.118/dc/dcboard.php?...ic_id=51338&mesg_id=51338&listing_type=search

For the curious, it says:

"I will try to recount the exercises in LL
1. Warmup set of squats with no weight
2. Squats (varying counts and low ends)
3. Quarter Deadlifts
4. Calf Raises
5. Leg Presses on the step (3 sets of 16 on each leg)
6. Single Leg squats with back foot on step (2 sets of 16 on each leg
7. Quarter Deadlifts
8. Calf Raises
9. Squats (varying counts and low ends, but shorter than first set of squats)
10. Sit and Stand Squats (total of 12)
11. Quarter Deadlifts
12. Calf Raises
13. Lunges (varying counts and low ends)
14. Plie Squats (2 sets of varying coutns with the 2nd set including 8 torturous low ends)
15. Quarter Deadlifts
16. Calf Raises

Finish with a traditional ab workout."

Thanks to the user tvan_horn who posted the above. Now I'll know exactly when Cathe is goign to sneak in those last lunges!!!

Thank you for posting!

Hi Carole,

Thank you for posting - I barely beat you to the punch. Meaner, I mean, Leaner ;-) Legs just kicks my butt. I use MUCH less weight than Cathe & Crew, too. Thank you for listing the exercises. I think it will really help me to get through this tough workout.

It's on my agenda for tomorrow *shudders*... I do CTX Kickbox first, then leaner legs. Then try to walk...

I was all set to reply again, but looks like you found what you were looking for! I know this workout by memory. Cathe doesn't sneak anything in on me, but I still cuss her when she demands the 2nd set of plie squats!

As much as I don't look forward to doing this one, it stays in my rotation for two reasons -- 1) It is effective and I get the results that I want and 2) It is short, quick and to the point -- no dawdling between exercises.

I remember when the CTX series first came out. I thought I would never be able to finish thoses static lunges and would NEVER be able to use the same weight as Cathe. I still don't like the static lunges, but I am proud to say that I can now lift heavier than Cathe and crew on this one.

Good Luck,

Tina

Thanks, Tina. Thank you for originally posting the Leaner Legs breakdown, too. It's not in my rotation very often, so it really spanks me when I do it. I bow down to you using more than the weight Cathe uses. I feel so wimpy with the weight I use (usually only a 20 pound barbell)! Thanks again. - Sarah
