I got Travel Fit, MMA Boxing and MMA Fusion last week. I am on a Kelly Coffey Meyer rotation, and had originally planned to wait until I was done to try these out....yeah right! I broke down and did Travel Fit today.
Music is a BIG factor in a workout for me, and the first thing I noticed was that this one seemed ho-hum. But I liked the workout. Just the thing when I dont feel like a very intense strength workout which seems to happen quite often lately! I wish there had been a bit more leg work. Cathe is the queen of legs. Yet, this is something I see myself using quite often. I like that it seems to be constantly changing on the exercises. That makes it move fast.
Next, I popped in MMA Boxing, intending just to preview. The music on the warm up was hi-energy. The moves looked fun. I recognized the move-in-a-box-move from Cardio Kicks. I couldnt help myself. I had to rewind and do the workout! I liked it very, very much! People had complained about the music. I liked it. Some had wanted more intensity. I loved the opportunity to try to get in every rep in good form. (When a workout is too fast or very intense, my form gets sloppy towards the end.) Some complained about the guys. I found them endearing and they made me smile. The facial expression on the guy at the back alternated between smiling and enjoying himself, to intently looking at Cathe - wishing he wouldnt make a mistake. I think the boys gave it their best shot. With some practise, I bet they could get more slick. I enjoyed the format of agility drills between the boxing moves. I loved Cathe for not wiping me out in this workout for a change.
I havent yet done the ab/back work on MMA boxing and MMA fusion, but I did preview a bit of MMA Fusion and decided tomorrow is going to be another Cathe day in my Kelly rotation. MMA Fusion seems even better than MMA Boxing!
After my Kelly rotation, I plan to do a rotation with just kick box and yoga for a bit so I get to do MMA, Tracey's CKBC and some of my older kick box favorites.
