Is it just me or...

does Cathe look a little less "buff" in the new series pictures? THAT IS NOT A BAD THING Don't get me wrong--she looks incredible as always. I think a lot of people get intimidated by how buff she normally looks in the videos & I was just looking at the pictures wondering if I was seeing a "smaller, softer" look to her. Or if she still looks the same to the rest of you all.

I would love to be half as fit as she looks.
 
HMMMM ... well of course me being me I had to go back and look at all the pics again ... but honestly I don't see a difference. And, I totally agree with you she always looks incredible!! I want those shoulders ... LOL!!

Deborah, I went and looked at the Lower body pictures. The main one, that is for show and tell right now, I can see Cathe's biceps where she is pulling on the tubing, but over all I see where you are coming from, if these other pictures are to be the guage. Cathe's muscles were very cut in the Pure Strength Series and whoa...the Slow Heavy Series.
From my own experience, I have to work with heavy wts, the heaviest I can possibly lift, 2-3 times a week because if I back off and work circuit or concentrate on cardio, my muscle loses that cut look very fast. ???

If if if, Cathe has lost a little of the cut, could it be because she has been using lighter wts getting the beginner series filmed. ??? But that is just conjecture at this point. Could it be the camera angle? But sadly, again, muscles do atrophy very fast when they aren't worked as hard.
 
I noticed that Cathe is not as tan in these videos. IMO I think when you have a little color it tends to show off your muscles a bit more.

Good point. The BodyBlast was filmed in August, and these are filmed in March so they wouldn't be as tanned.

I can't tell a difference either, Deborah, for what it's worth.
 
I wondered the same thing but couldn't make up my mind. I love her lats. The photos they been posting are wonderful. Definitely soft and feminine. I wish I looked that gorgeous while I am working out and I'd love to be that muscular when I am less muscular because when I am less muscular I look like the guy who gets sand kicked in his face.

Hi Deborah! Cathe looks exactly the same to me. I think its the tank top that she's wearing its made of cotton & less clingy. Kathy
 
Don't know what it is but I just thought she looked different than usual--maybe it is the tan thing. I agree that when I am tan, I look more cut. Who knows but it's good to know others are seeing some difference too.
 
Hi Deborah! Funny you should mention this because I was just noticing during the edit sessions that the tops I wore for these DVD's somehow presented a very different look for me. I didn't notice this in person (and not even as much in the pictures) but on live film it was captured very differently. Perhaps not my most flattering look, LOL, but fortunately the workout is what matters:) Take Care!

P.S. Did you know Cindy Thorp does TUCK JUMPS in Tracie Long's Dynamic Strength and Power video??? I was so happy!! Of course, she doesn't do as many as you do in Imax2!! LOL!!

I too noticed that but didnt want to say anything. She is way more fit than I am so it really isnt my place to talk. But I did notice right away that she looked softer but just as pretty.

Softer isn't such a bad thing. Remember how i once said that on videos she looks so buff and veiny, and yet in pictures she looks so "tiny" ... well, i noticed too that she wasn't looking so buff, but i thought it was done on "purpose" as to not make the beginner exerciser feel so intimidated! Wayne x
