Is it considered "cheating"......

There are at least two times in Drillmax where you do pushups/dips on a stability ball. Even putting the ball on a mat I worry about it rolling or slipping away so I put it close to the base of the treadmill and then do the pushups facing the treadmill. If it moves it won't go far. I won't hit the floor face first. It makes me comfortable enough to do the pushups without worrying about a face plant. But is it easier this way or cheating? Inquiring minds want to know...

RE: Is it considered

Hi Traildoggie! By securing the base you remove some of the stability challenge, however, your arms are still going to work hard regardless. Go for it!

RE: Is it considered

Thanks Cathe for the speedy response... for some reason I didn't get a email notification...
I have a slippery laminate floor and have to be careful with my feet and gloves sliding, especially pushups and planks. My toes slide unless I get on a mat. It seems too risky to have the ball sliding so I'll work toward getting the ball a bit further from the treadmill. Oh yes, my arms are working!
