So, maybe it's just me, but I've noticed that when I'm working out - I mean REALLY upping my workouts- especially weight-training that I crave protein more than usual! It's like an alarm goes off in my body that says- "FEED ME PROTEIN!!!":eek::eek: NOWWWWW!!!!!

Do you all feel that way?!?!?

Yep, all the time. I carry a lot of muscle for a woman and I like to lift to failure and I crave protein all the time. Really crave protein, like stay away from me until I get meat, crave protein. It is to the point that we always have some sort of immediately available protein in our fridge. I have heard of that with other people who have a lot of muscle. I am fine with the whole thing since it is great to have a lot of muscle.

Yes, definitely! I crave protein, extra water, and extra *sleep* when I'm pushing it hard with heavier weights, as in Meso 3. I'm just unspecifically hungrier during circuit weeks.
 
Absolutely! When I am working out with heavy weights, I could chew my arm off when I am finished. Cardio actually hinders my cravings.
 
Yep, its called 'true hunger' (I just invented that term just now, but someone else might have said it already, idk.) But, when you are actually really hungry (not just low blood sugar) your body craves protein/fat. Give it lots of clean foster farm's chicken (no salt added) and coconut oil in a stir fry with greens. yumm.. (ok I'm getting side tracked hee hee):p
 
Yep, especially after legs. I've been known to get home from the gym, throw a steak on the grill for maybe 5 minutes & eat it practically raw. :eek:
 
Okay- these replies just cracked me up!! Good to know it's the "true hunger" effect! Still picturing the carnivorious assaults on the fridges! :eek::eek:
