I don't even think I have an "on" or an "off" track. If I did, I'd always be on the "off" track because I have ZERO self-discipline. Instead, I just dislike what's not good for my body. I honestly have no interest in empty calories at all.
I think I've been using mental imagery for decades. If I picture a Reese's peanut butter cup dissolving into my blood stream and overwhelming the cells of my body with more sugar than they can process, I just don't want to eat it anymore. I picture my insulin level rising too high, my innards getting out of balance, and my mood being affected, and I wind up disliking the stuff that's bad for me.
I can't NOT eat stuff I like, so I just stop liking it. And if I find out something is really good for me, I can't get enough of it!
Is anyone else like this?
