I'm thinking about investing in an ipod touch. I already have an older nano, which i use mostly for running. is the ipod touch something i can use to run? they look awful large. i'm such a gadget junkie, i can't help myself. all the apps have me obsessing. tia for any input!

I use mine! I have a shirt with a pocket it fits in just fine, and I have an arm band for it, so I do that sometimes, and then sometimes I just hold it, but the shirt with pocket works the best (the arm band makes it a little hard to get to the controls).

one note of caution...my son ran with his and sweat so much it got water damage. He sweats ALOT though (18 yr old boy) and it was 90 some degrees here in Iowa but I would have never thought it would have ruined his ipod touch, but it did!

Woah! That's the first time I've ever heard anyone say that! He must REALLY sweat! I mean, I know if you drop it in the tub or something it's goodbye, but really! Makes me glad I got the armband that fully encases my Nano!

I have a case that has a belt loop attachment. It may look big around, but it is very thin. I love my touch.

He does sweat ALOT! And it was over 90 degrees in the summer in humid Iowa and he was running for over an hour but still I would have never thought sweat would cause water damage! It did finally recover a little after a long dry out but he can't get internet and sometimes the touchcreen still doesn't work!
