ipod question

I'm almost there--- looked at a site and they suggested the following:
Please choose the following option(s) to complete your bundle:
Apple iPod Nano 8GB, 5th Generation (Newest Model)
Ematic Accessory kit " Cases not included"
Upgrade your power options to a rechargeable battery or Apple Power Adapter
Upgrade to a better listening experience with these headphones
Listen to your iPod in your car through these FM Transmitters

which do i need--- not worried about the car.

Are you are checking out walmart? I think none of these bundle offers are free. They seem to add to the price of your iPod. In which case, I am not sure you need any of them.

a. Ematic accessory kit contains a wall charger useful if you are travelling and cannot access a PC to charge your ipod, silicone cases and a screen protector to keep your ipod scratch free and abunch of other nice but not exactly essential stuff. I use a screen protector on my ipod and find a wall charger useful.

b.Rechargeable battery is useful on very long flights when you cant charge the ipod. I rarely have circumatances where I use my ipod for more than 3 to 5 hours at a stretch beffore I have an opportunity to charge.

c. I like in-ear, compact headphones even for high end models . None of the walmart options appealed to me, but then headphones are a very personal thing. I know people who only like the big ear muff kind.

d. There are better ways now to connect the ipod to your car than using the FM transmission technology and you also said this isnt your priority.

My suggestion is that the only essentials are a screen protector and if you use the ipod when running/exercising then an arm band. All else can come later as you learn from experience the ways in which you use your ipod. If you want to attach your ipod to a TV and use Cathe downloads, then get the TV cables tight now.

You may eventually need a nicer pair of headphones since you said you like high quality listening. I suggest going to a showroom where you get to listen to options like at an apple store if possible before buying. To begin with the apple headphones that come in the box are likely to suffice.
