Interesting Thread From 2002 on Thickening Of Legs

Thanks 40something. I found that very interesting and helpful. I find it amusing that although we are constantly told that women do not bulk up a tremendous amount of us do - but perhaps only in half of our body!

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!

I have noticed that as well and great information! I am decreasing my weights and going to do L&G once a week, and incorporate more yoga and the Bar Method again! :)I really really really wish Cathe did a lower body workout with NO weights at all and made it super tough and challenging! I agree that the Firm Volume One has a great floor section..........might need to add that in more

Ya know I see this question so often and I have to ask, is it so bad to have muscular legs? I know in my mid 20's (about 20 years ago) I began to get the flabby, cellulite thighs. Since I have been doing regular exercise consisting of both cardio and weights, I don't have it anymore. Sure my legs are a little bigger and more muscular, but it sure looks better than legs that are slim and flabby. I think we need to lighten up on our bodies a little bit and look at the positive. Maybe I'm the oddball on this topic, but I like that I've become stronger and more tone. Now if I could get rid of those ugly spider veins I'd be a real happy camper!:+
