Great article, but I just read the opposite. I will try to remember where. But that article said that it appears cardiovascular problems start to arise when you are about 15% overweight. They said that even though you may be fit, it does not appear to help, studies show. The article goes on to say that what is most important is keeping a healthy body weight, science has yet to show exactly why. I think it was Prevention magazine. I will look for the article.
I remember cuz it was a big bummer for me, who always resides at about 26 BMI....
