Intensity Series Results

Beverly...
You looked great before too, didn't think there was much room for imrovement, but alas!!!

I gotta say that for a runner you have a very nicely balanced and developed body. You truly look fit in every way! You have nice balance to your routine and it shows!!! Some runners tend to lose sight of the fact that other modes of exercise exist and can benefit you in different ways. Clearly, you have not fallen into this trap!!

Sadly, I have had Pyramid Upper FOREVER bet just acquired a stability ball and have yet to do all these horrible pikes everyone talks about. Soon though. I can only hope for the results it gave you!! I am training for a half marathon in January so if you do have a rotation I would love for you to post it or email it to me. My email is [email protected]. I am especially interested in your running routine.

Briee is right. Your arms are impressive. Like I said, I am really impressed with the overall symmetry of your body. You must be a mesomorph!!!

I also like the tan and the workout clothes. Very nice!!!

Beverly-
Well, I'm extremely impressed with your physique. I was hoping that you could tell me whether you are doing the entire Pyramid tapes when you perform them. I am extremely pressed for time as I have a 3 month old at home with my 2 year old son to boot, so I was hoping that you go either up or down and not both. I am extremely motivated and would love to get back into my size 2/4 pants(as I no longer shop for myself and need to wear what I have). Please tell me your secrets to success! Keep up the inspiring work- your pictures are extremely motivating!

Hi tinytaebo

Thanks for the compliments. I usually just do the pyramid up in PUB with the ab section. For PLB I do the up and down weights, but no stability ball work. I think that takes about 30 minutes. Occasionally I will do the whole tape on both of these, but I found good results with just parts of them..

I also just love the premix for the pyramids. It is an hour, but a total body workout (except no abs), but I added that sometimes. I just love all the different choices we get with the DVDs and Cathe's bonus combos and premixes..

Good luck on your goals.

Have a great day! :)

Congratulations! You look great!

I see you have a treadmill (I just love those). Do you do your running inside or outside, for the most part?

Hi Runathon-

I like to run outside, but that treadmill is nice during the Utah winters...

Do you do a lot of running? Any races?

I love that Happy guy on your posts!!!

Beverly

Wow, Beverly! You look awesome and sooo very healthy! I agree, you don't look old enough to have a 13 year old! Keep up the great work. What an inspiration you are! Can you share where you found your top & shorts??? Cute, cute!

Hi there!

I like to run and have done my share of 5-ks. I use my treadmill a lot and don't run outside unless I am doing a race...which I mainly do to set an example for my children....because it is soooo hot and muggy down here in South Florida. Besides, I get up at 3:15 a.m. to exercise and it is toooo dangerous to be outside at that time. ;)

I love that happy smiley too! It cracks me up everytime I see him...kind of gives me the joy of the Lord! hehehe http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/lach.gif[/img]

Hi Debbie H and rcook,

I got my outfit at the BX (Base Exchange) my hubby is in the Air Force. I did see it at Dillard's department store. Back in the midwest, it would be the same as L.S. Ayres or Carson Pirie Scott, Famous Barr. Do any of those sound familiar Debbie?
I grew up in Indiana, aren't you from Ohio?

rcook
I am 5 ft 5 inches tall.
I started exercising as a teenager. Running at 14 and aerobics and weights at 16.

Beverly

Yes Ohio! Great memory! We do have Dillards. I will check them out. THANX!

Hi Beverly,

Your pics look great! My question to you is what poundage of weight are you using for PUB? Are you matching Cathe, going higher, lower?

Also, we don't have the workout outfit your wearing in our BX. (Aviano, Italy) I have never seen it. Cute

Lollie

HI Lollie,

We hopped over to Aviano, Italy when we were stationed in the Azores. I loved it. Do you like it there?
Are you in the Air Force?

In PUB I do the same weight Cathe does, except I go heavier with Triceps and shoulders.

Have a great day!!

:)

Hi Beverly,

Yes, we love it here. My husband put in for a one year extension. Hopefully it will be approved. After that, he retires. I guess that answered your question, I'm the military spouse. We
were in Korea (Yongsan) before Italy. When were you stationed at the Azores? My son's principal came from there. She seemed to enjoy it.

You are STRONG!! I don't have 20 lb weights, waiting till they get some in at the BX. I do have 10,12 & 15. I did PUB up premix yesterday w/ 12 and 15 except biceps. I used the same weights as Cathe. Still trying to make it all they way through the stability ball section. My wrist are still bothering me w/ that exercise. Hopefully I will get there. I love the Intensity series and waiting patiently for the Body Blast series.:p

Lollie

Off topic somewhat but I just wanted to jump in the Air Force wives conversation as I am one too. We're at Shaw AFB (dh works LONG hours and is planning a little Christmas trip to Qatar for 3 months) but I really wanted to comment to Lollie about Korea. It happens that I grew up there (in Seoul) and have a lot of fond memories of hanging out on Yongsan. I went to Seoul Foreign School if you know anything of the international schools in the city. Great to hear CAthe go global! TAke care...
