WOO HOO for the weekend, ladies! :D

You'd think I have big plans for tonight or something but I don't. Actually went out last night. I was invited to a "Passion Party" and I spent $80! LOL ;) Will probably just do housework, work out and hang out today. Nothing big. I am sore from my KCM work out y'day. I plan to do work out #2 today because it's a split routine. I also want to get in some cardio. A run if I can manage it. I wanted to run y'day but got lazy and didn't do it. :rolleyes:

I've got my last CC&B workout on tap, and then I think I'll try out Shaun's UB workout after that. Other than that, I have the exact same plans as Wendy. Housework, and hangin' out. I really don't want to do a thing today :cool: (Hear that world? Nothing!)

Hi Girls,

Can't believe I am just getting around to checking in:confused: I have been up since 7:30 but DH as this habit of going to work whenever I have to go to work. Last weekend he wanted to work, brought DS to MY work and then left. He was only suppose to cover lunch hour, 2 hours later, I went home with DS is tow. He needs to stop it...he gets into habits and I don't break him from it until I get mad. One day it was like a mad dash to get out of the house. We were both in a tie to get a shower and leave! His other habit is "what time do you have to go to work tomorrow"? ugh!

So I didn't do my run this a.m b/c DH had to go to work before I DID! I will probably be able to do it tonight and if not, I will go for a longer run outside in the morning before I come to work. Im only going to work until 3'ish. There isn't anything on the go anyway.

Wendy** I am always spending dough on those kinds of parties. My SIL sells Avon now so everytime she brings over a book, I order something. I never use to like Avon but it is kind of growing on me and its cheap! Have a good day of nothing!

Jen** Another gal who wants to do nothing:rolleyes: Whats wrong with you people??? Have a good workout:)

I will bbl to checkin...its lunch time now and once again I don't know what I want to eat. My running partner stopped over yesterday and she said "Lordy God (thats her saying) there is nothing left to you. Your all muscle" Prehaps I should eat something:p JK!

Good SATURDAY morning ladies !

Wow it seems like it has been years since I have had a weekend ! With moving the kids two weekends ago and being gone for 4 days over last weekend - then catching up at work and prepping for my meetings this next week - UGH is all I can say. I want to do "nothing" this weekend but have catch up and projects to do. Oh well, we will be mixing a hockey game in there tonight so it's all good. I'll check off my list as I get through it and am sure some things will be left for later. Finally got our refinance paperwork too - refi'ing with the same lender so we are signing papers at home but have to have them notarized. With no title company involved I'll have to review them to make sure I understand. No small feat but worth it.

K - here goes my catch up here with you girls . . .

Jen – OK, I give . . . what is bejeweled? Book, movie, website ? ? ? ? I’m starting tomorrow since I won’t have time for a workout on Mon. Then I hope to keep on semi- on track for Month 2 from there – have to play it by ear depending on the hockey games we attend. OK – game on FB – haven’t been back but I did add you as a friend (I think I did it right?).

Yep dog sitting for an aussie/border collie mix. Love him just like my own – he always comes over when we are out at the same time and will run into my house like it is his. I think we may actually have him confused – when I get home from work before his “parents” he barks at me to come get him. He is adorable but full of energy and sometimes it doesn’t work for great sleep patterns or replanting bulbs ! :confused:

So how was Shaun's UB workout - probably better than the others since you can watch his muscles bulge? LOL !:rolleyes:

Wendy – well you sure are getting your use out of Insanity, huh? It is nice to see you so “hooked” on a series – guess you were that way with SS also. So what didya buy last night, huh? Inquiring minds want to know . . . Enjoy the day off of everything but a workout !;) So what did I miss ? ? ? You have dropped even more #s ? ? ? Now don't make us take away your Insanity just so we can see you girlfriend ! :p

Laura – Oh yuck – cookies in front of you all day? We are having retirement plan meetings for the next week and are doing “food stuff” at each, some of it being ice cream ! This will be either extra workouts (kinda hard to bring it for a presentation and then not eat it – I don’t see my peeps at the other locations very often) but we will see which way it goes.

I’m not “melting away” like Wendy either but can see a difference in my waist and “lumpy areas” which are smoothing out a bit. Pants fit better too ! I’m indulging too much in the CABs also but may be easier for me since I enjoy the beer when it is hot out and I actually turned on the heater this AM. We are cooling down and makes it less tempting for a beer for me !

Good to hear about DH and friend – hope it goes well for your GTG. GOOOOOOO WAAAAAAAARRRRR EAGLES ! ! ! :D :D :D

Lori – ahhhh yeesssssssss, foffee ! My parents allowed us a cup of milk with coffee splashed in on Sat Ams – yep, sooooo cooool we thought we were ! Hope you get your workout in today since DH is skipping out on you ! :confused: So you are "wilting" away like Wendy, huh? Wish I had the time and gumption to run as much as you. AND THEN workout to boot. I get tired just reading about your workouts ! :p

Diana - guessing you had a busy day yesterday too? Hope all is well and you stayed warm with the snow happening. I am not ready for this cold so quickly. All of a sudden I need the heater and to wear sweaters to work. I wish it was more of a gradual change but oh well. We are supposed to rain on Tues so time to pack up the summer patio. :( Only good thing is hockey is bbbaaaaaacccccckkkkkkkk ! Woo Hoo. How did Jerod's game go this AM?

Angie - hey girl - you are on the Insanity bandwagon too? Good to hear from you again. Aren't you going to LV soon? Did you find some good deals and advice?

I did do SS UB on Thurs but y'day ended up with a really sore back and then when I inhaled my allergy spray it pulled a muscle half way down my back. I am still in pain and can't get it to go away ! No workout y'day and will see what I can do today. May end up running or doing something that doesn't need to much balance so I don't make my neck/back worse. Tomorrow I am hoping to do the 1st M2 Insanity workout and hope my plans stick. I am feeling like I'm in one of those "nothing goes right" times again like I was the beginning of the year. I was enjoying my consistent workouts but they are not going so well right now. :confused: Oh well, such is life which happens to get in the way sometimes ! :(

Back to report that CC&B is done for the last time this week. I managed five out of the prescribed six, so that's good. I alos did Shaun's UB workout after that. Well, I did 33 of the 47 minutes of it. Let me tell you, I LOVE IT! It's very Alwyn-esque. He does four rounds of exercises, three to four different exercises each round, and does the first exercise of the set for 12 reps, goes to the next exercise for 12 reps, and so on. Then he does the four exercises over again for ten reps each, and then eight. It's a drencher because he inserts some of his power moves for a cardio factor too. I think it's a great compliment to the program, and a great stand alone workout as well.

Lori: I was up every morning at 4:30 this week, and averaged 5 hours or less of sleep each night. I feel as though I'm entitled to do nothing today :p

Jacque: You hit that nail on the head re: Shaun's UB workout! Oh man is he extra nice to look at in this one, even when he's sopping in sweat ;)

Off to do some housework now, but will bbl~

Hi Ladies,

All I can say is it's finally Saturday!!!! I've already been logged in and working this morning....I'm so sick of it.

We've had a lot of system problems at work the past week and half and I've put in a lot of hours. Not nearly as many hours as our sys admins though.

Jerod's football game has been postponed until tonight at the high school. The city closes the grass fields when it snows...which it is right now. We only have 2 turf fields for all the teams to use, so Jerod plays at 6pm.

We are contemplating going to the Condo this weekend, DH and I both took Mon & Tues off but that would mean Jerod would miss school. Our intention was to leave today after Jerod's game, but now that it's been moved to tonight that won't happen. I'm kind of glad, I have a lot of filing and organizing to do around here. Papers are everywhere again...I just can't keep up on it.

Along with Jacque, my workouts have been sporadic at best this last week. I want to do cardio and weights today but am not sure which w/o's I will choose. MIC and MIS used to be a real favorite of mine to do on the weekend. I'm sure MIC will kick my butt...but I may give it a go. Who knows, maybe insanity will have helped.


I haven't had a chance to read what everyone has been up to, sorry.

Wendy-Nothing is sounding good to me right now, but I will feel much better once I get all this paperwork processed and filed. Hope you get your run in soon.

Jen-I've been considering doing Shaun's UB w/o but I really want to hit the legs too. I think you're the only one that managed most of the CC&B workouts. Good for you!!!

Lori-I'm an avon buyer also. I really like their Anew line and Anew Alternative. You won't believe this, but I'm actually considering training for HM in Jan. I rec'd an email from a friend...and I really love the HM distance, a little difficult but not too bad at all.

Jacque-It's been really hectic at work, I've missed several of my AM workouts. My plan for alt. cardio and weights each day went right out the window. Enjoy your weekend, I plan to.

I'm going to peruse the site a bit while I enjoy my coffee. btw, DS1 sent me the best picture of Rallie Mae, she has a big smile on her face. I may try to add it my FB pics today.
 
Hi Girls.

It's barely 530 and I feel like I could go to bed and sleep through the night. That's what I get for going to bed at 1am and getting up at 6. :rolleyes: I took a nap b4 but it only helped for so long.

Despite the lack of sleep I did manage a good work out! I got in a 30 minute run this morning followed by a short break and then KCM 30 minutes to fitness weights (strength based) work out #2 premix with ab work between sets. These work outs are awesome and will be an awesome fit with Insanity. My lats are ON FIRE from doing yesterday's back/chest/leg routine! YEOWZAS! :eek:

Okay, my mom is on the phone...gotta go but I'll be back!
 
Back to report that MIS and Cardio Fusion is done. I did 60 min of the mix & max premix. My legs were pretty wobbly after MIS.

DS2 and i are heading to kohls for a bit. After that we will be spending the evening freezing our butts off at Jerod's game. The high today was 35 and I'm afraid to even check the weather...it'll probably just make me colder.

Wendy-I'm seriously considering the KCM w/o's too. I think they would work out great for me since I can't seem to find an hour to do a full body w/o. No harm going to bed a bit early, 5 may be a bit too early though.

rpage-nice job on insanity...do you love it so far?? We are starting month 2, the longer workouts... here in a couple of days.

Off to shop...
 
Just reporting that I have done a BANG UP job accomplishing the lofty goal I set for myself today :D That being the goal of doing NOTHING today :p Done and DONE.

Diana: Have you done his UB workout yet? If not, I think you'll like it. There's nothing easy about it. And he uses 45 lb. dumbells for shoulders ;)

Wendy: I think I'll have to look into these KCM workouts. Anything that gets it accomplished in a half hour is definitely something worth investigating.

Rodney Strong Merlot and reruns of Criminal Minds are the pressing matters at hand for me tonight ;) Will check in later ~

Well I got some of my "to do list" accomplished. Finished up the shopping/errands for work, banked, got some home shopping accomplished, fertilized yard and did CCB. Ready to head out for the game.

Jen - nice workout - LOL about the UB - sounds like a grueling/fun/productive workout. I'd love to buy more but thinking that I found enough Cathe premix workouts to keep me busy for a while. Enjoy the merlot (is it local to you?) and Criminal Minds (I like that one too ! :p).

Wendy - bummer about the off kilter sleep patterns. Hopefully you can get your rythyms back soon. Nice job on the workout too !

Diana - LOL - just heard the baseball game was cancelled due to the snow. Hope you can find something to keep you warm tonight ! Have fun if you head to the cabin.

Roselyn - nice job on completing two weeks ! Let us know your progress. We've been very lazy and haven't been doing the Fit Tests here - I did the first one but that is it so far.
