Good SATURDAY morning ladies !
Wow it seems like it has been years since I have had a weekend ! With moving the kids two weekends ago and being gone for 4 days over last weekend - then catching up at work and prepping for my meetings this next week - UGH is all I can say. I want to do "nothing" this weekend but have catch up and projects to do. Oh well, we will be mixing a hockey game in there tonight so it's all good. I'll check off my list as I get through it and am sure some things will be left for later. Finally got our refinance paperwork too - refi'ing with the same lender so we are signing papers at home but have to have them notarized. With no title company involved I'll have to review them to make sure I understand. No small feat but worth it.
K - here goes my catch up here with you girls . . .
Jen – OK, I give . . . what is bejeweled? Book, movie, website ? ? ? ? I’m starting tomorrow since I won’t have time for a workout on Mon. Then I hope to keep on semi- on track for Month 2 from there – have to play it by ear depending on the hockey games we attend. OK – game on FB – haven’t been back but I did add you as a friend (I think I did it right?).
Yep dog sitting for an aussie/border collie mix. Love him just like my own – he always comes over when we are out at the same time and will run into my house like it is his. I think we may actually have him confused – when I get home from work before his “parents” he barks at me to come get him. He is adorable but full of energy and sometimes it doesn’t work for great sleep patterns or replanting bulbs !
So how was Shaun's UB workout - probably better than the others since you can watch his muscles bulge? LOL !
Wendy – well you sure are getting your use out of Insanity, huh? It is nice to see you so “hooked” on a series – guess you were that way with SS also. So what didya buy last night, huh? Inquiring minds want to know . . . Enjoy the day off of everything but a workout !
So what did I miss ? ? ? You have dropped even more #s ? ? ? Now don't make us take away your Insanity just so we can see you girlfriend !
Laura – Oh yuck – cookies in front of you all day? We are having retirement plan meetings for the next week and are doing “food stuff” at each, some of it being ice cream ! This will be either extra workouts (kinda hard to bring it for a presentation and then not eat it – I don’t see my peeps at the other locations very often) but we will see which way it goes.
I’m not “melting away” like Wendy either but can see a difference in my waist and “lumpy areas” which are smoothing out a bit. Pants fit better too ! I’m indulging too much in the CABs also but may be easier for me since I enjoy the beer when it is hot out and I actually turned on the heater this AM. We are cooling down and makes it less tempting for a beer for me !

Lori – ahhhh yeesssssssss, foffee ! My parents allowed us a cup of milk with coffee splashed in on Sat Ams – yep, sooooo cooool we thought we were ! Hope you get your workout in today since DH is skipping out on you !
So you are "wilting" away like Wendy, huh? Wish I had the time and gumption to run as much as you. AND THEN workout to boot. I get tired just reading about your workouts !
Diana - guessing you had a busy day yesterday too? Hope all is well and you stayed warm with the snow happening. I am not ready for this cold so quickly. All of a sudden I need the heater and to wear sweaters to work. I wish it was more of a gradual change but oh well. We are supposed to rain on Tues so time to pack up the summer patio.
Only good thing is hockey is bbbaaaaaacccccckkkkkkkk ! Woo Hoo. How did Jerod's game go this AM?
Angie - hey girl - you are on the Insanity bandwagon too? Good to hear from you again. Aren't you going to LV soon? Did you find some good deals and advice?
I did do SS UB on Thurs but y'day ended up with a really sore back and then when I inhaled my allergy spray it pulled a muscle half way down my back. I am still in pain and can't get it to go away ! No workout y'day and will see what I can do today. May end up running or doing something that doesn't need to much balance so I don't make my neck/back worse. Tomorrow I am hoping to do the 1st M2 Insanity workout and hope my plans stick. I am feeling like I'm in one of those "nothing goes right" times again like I was the beginning of the year. I was enjoying my consistent workouts but they are not going so well right now.
Oh well, such is life which happens to get in the way sometimes !
