Good Morning Y’All!! :eek:

MR is done and I struggled through the hip openers, which seemed to be most of the workout :p That just means I really needed to do those exercises.

Colleen - Sometimes workouts look tougher to me when I preview them :)

Dawn - ^5s on MCC. I had a feeling you would like the M2 workouts. Have a wonderful weekend - camping, right? :D

Becky - You ROCK!! :eek:

Elena - I kind of missed weights during M1 so I added the deluxe UB weight workout during the recovery week. Now in M2 I’m quite happy without any extra weight work :D

Marianne - I added the UB weight workout 3xs during the recovery week and it has a wee bit of cardio built in also the workout moves very fast :)

Brenda - It’s tough to get your groove back with that long of a break during a cardio workout, especially Insanity. ^5s on those tris :D

Sandra - I hope you are back on track soon. I’m glad you are able to work on your yoga. YogaX was one of my favorite things about P90X - I got strong, lean & flexible :)

Yesturday I did the UB Weights from Shaun T. I have to say I think Cathe's weight workouts are so much better. I just didn't "feel" it like I do with her. Today I'm a bit sore, but not really. I would have liked to have seen more Tri work with weights but he only does body weight push ups. Anyway I think next week I'll sub in a Full Body Cathe weight dvd. Today is another Cardio and I wont get to it until later, so I'll try to post again then.

Good Morning Everyone,
Today I did MIP and rocked the house. I was happy that I was able to go deeper into that crazy side pushup in the last section of the workout. (When I say deeper, I mean I can get a tad more than halfway down to the floor, but progress is progress). Rest day tomorrow, but I will probably do the fit test after my step class.
Is anybody doing anything fun this weekend? We own rental property next to a casino in Indiana so my weekends and holidays are busy with running the business. We do have Saturday night free (I can't remember the last time that happened) so we are planning on visiting a casino about 12 miles away that recently upgraded with a huge new boat. We don't gamble, we just like to watch everyone else get mesmerized by the lights and sounds of the slot machines. We walk around the tables, eat dinner and go to a show then happily head home with our money still safe in our pockets!

I am amazed by all YOU! get accomplished. I'm so lucky right now (believe me, I DO realize how blessed I am!) to have the time to spend on me. And I'm extra lucky because my DH is VERY supportive of me focusing on me! :D:D:D

Today I have some good DOMS going on so I was ecstatic to put in Cardio Recovery and see that it really IS a recovery workout! ;) I also got in a 3 mile run (in 26:59:25) Where was that speed at the race!?!? :rolleyes: 25 minutes of cycle and 25 minutes upper body/ab workout at the Y. I'm supposed to go back for cardio kettlebell tonight because guess what!?!? I'm going on the schedule as co-instructor! :eek: I did say I couldn't start til next week though so I might bag tonight. I'm pretty whupped at the moment!

No big plans here for the weekend. The girls are coming home...really...only 2 weeks away!?! Just kidding. The oldest is bringing her boyfriend whom we adore so it will be a houseful again! :cool:

Yeah Becky!!!!!! :D ^5s on the cardio kettlebell co-instructor position. I love kettlebells and I greatly admire fitness instructors. So much good stuff going on for you there is just no time to be down - Have Fun!!! :eek::D

Not too much planned for me this weekend. It always starts that way then stuff always creeps up to do, but a long weekend is always a great weekend :) I'm off to get DDs ready for night-night (me, too ;))

Jennifer – is there a workout where Shaun doesn’t work on the hips and hip flexors?? Man, you just can’t get away with it, can you? Think of how flexible you’ll be when you’re done! And how strong those flexors will be! YogaX did wonderful things for my hips and hip flexors, too. I had to be consistent about it, though, and that’s hard to do with a 90min workout.

Elena – Do you think the reason you didn’t enjoy Shaun’s upper body workout as much as Cathe’s is because you just didn’t go heavy enough? I ask, because I’m planning on doing it tomorrow, and want to make sure I make it worth my time.

Brenda – It sounds like you have a great weekend planned! Well, that must feel very satisfying to see progress on those push ups. Woohoo!!

Becky – Congratulations on the co-instructing class!! And on the amazing time for the 3 mile run! It sounds like you had a great day, and will have an even better weekend!!

My back is fully back to normal today. I haven’t had to take any ibuprofen. I feel really good, and re-energized. I did Core Cardio Balance for the 2nd time, and enjoyed it a lot more this time. Knowing what to expect really helps. Not having a sore back helps even more J . I also took a client through some step work this morning, and the hips/back didn’t appear to become aggravated. I wanted to spend our whole hour doing step, it was feeling so good. So, needless to say, I’m ready to get going on Month 2. Tomorrow morning I’ll take my 6am client for a 30min run, then for myself I’ll probably do the Insanity Upper Body workout. Some more yoga would be a good thing, too. Looooooove the yoga.

No big weekend plans here: teaching AquaFit and CycleFit on Saturday morning. That’s all that’s planned so far. It’s my last time to teach the Saturday morning cycle; I’m moving to Thursday nights, starting next week. I’ve taught this group for exactly a year. I made up a tough routine with great music, just for the last class. I’m really excited about teaching it.

I am in my second month of Insanity and truly enjoying beating up on myself. I did Max Cardio Conditioning this am. I also did my own leg workout this pm

Saundra- In my opinion, all of the Insanity workouts are hip flexor intensive!

Are any of you planning on doing Rev Abs?
