MCC & IA is done. I had to bring out the backhoe to dig as deep as I did during MCC :p This workout seems just out of my reach of completing without taking breaks. I’m determined to get through it without a flinch.

Sandra - Yeah for feeling better!! :D:D:D Your last Saturday morning cycle class sounds fun. I thought of you during IA today. This was my first time doing this workout and those hip flexors were burning!! :eek::eek:

TGIF - then it is a long weekend - yeah!! :cool::cool::cool::cool:
 
Hi Everyone,

Today was CCB and a 15 min. run. I am hoping to GS Chest and Tri's tonight. I can't believe my recovery week is almost over and I start back up with Month 2 on Monday. I was originally going to do Meso 2 with Month 2 but I don't think I will have enough time to get it all done now that the workouts are longer. I am going to reanalyze this weekend.

Jennifer, I haven't previewed MCC yet but I am worried. I guess I will find out next week.

6 mile run/walk intervals today. Feeling a little beat up today. I think I'm going to make today my rest day from INSANITY instead of Sunday. Have a lot of housework to do so it's not like I'll be sitting on my butt the rest of the day! :p

Hey Y'all!

Becky: How did your class go last night?

Well today was a rest day after 2 weeks of month 2 Insanity, but i decided to do the fit test after I got back from teaching my step/sculpt class this morning. Let me tell you ladies, it is amazing what those month 2 workouts are doing for my plyo ability and cardio endurance. My numbers jumped except for the globe jumps and suicide jumps, which did come right after I knocked it out of the ballpark with power jumps. I can't believe how much easier those power jumps are for me. I may be able to keep up with Cathe when STS cardio comes out!
Well, 2 more weeks in this asylum and then I am looking forward to a week of alternating power yoga and terminator workouts before I figure out what comes next. I want to do another 3.5 month STS, but I am waiting for STS cardio to compliment the weight workouts. Anybody have any ideas ?

Good evening, Insanitinas! This morning I inaugurated Max Recovery, and it was much tougher than I'd expected. Felt like a total wuss, but that's good because it gives me a new challenge. Those endless holds in the lunge position almost did me in!

Brenda, I don't use FT to gauge my progress, but like you I'm seriously noticing that what used to feel really, REALLY hard now feels only really hard. And I do credit Shaun T!

Bren, as far as a suggestion for your rotation while waiting for Shock Cardio to start STS again, how about building a rotation around Muscle Endurance, Power Hour, Supersets / Push-Pull, and Muscle Max for a good endurance-focus, and for your cardio do as much choreographed stuff as you like to complement the Insanity non-choreographed motif?

Hey Yall-
Just finished my last Pure Cardio for the month one rotation. YIPPEE! It fought back a little harder today than it usually does. One more Pylo then one to my recovery week.
Although reading the comments of those of you who are ahead of me, it sounds like I will be longing for the days of Pure Cardio.
Congrats Brenda on your fit test results!
I am really fortunate that next week is my recovery week because it is going to be a horrible work week.
