Hello Cathe and educated crowd,
I am faced with a problem right now since I was diagnosed with a knee injury. Basically, it is just an over-usage/aggravation of the knee, but my physical therapist wants me to take a couple weeks off to really let it heal.
My question to you is: how do you deal with taking time off from exercise? I know most people here are probably like me... you LOVE to exercise - you love the feeling it gives you, the energy, the spirit and motivation. I tend to feel depressed when I'm not active and I'm wondering how to get through the next couple weeks without feeling cranky and just plain blah.
Does anyone have coping suggestions? Thanks for your help!
