IMAX2....Modifications Requested

If you have already modified the dreaded #9, please share your modifications with me. I'm 4'10 1/2 (yes, the 1/2 is important) and my legs just won't do the #9.

Let me know if you do something else instead. I'm currently just doing cross overs for the whole thing.

Hey Donna!! I have not done the imax 2 yet....# one still frightens me, but I just wanted to say hey to another fellow 4ft and 1/2er!!! That is me too...and yes that 1/2 is darn important! Hey, by the way I am a Donna too!! Take care and conquer that #9...me I am the new owner of a CTX series that I just started...LOVE IT! Donna.:)
 
Well I just couldn't resist posting since I'm a Donna too! Or should that be 3? :)

I've done Imax 2 several times now and I haven't found 1 specific modification for the dreaded #9 yet! I start out just trying to do it as Cathe and the crew are, and as soon as I hit the point I can't hop another nanosecond, I just pant, march in place, and watch until it's time to "walk it off!" I'd like to say I get a little further each time I do it, but realistically, it's more like I have an extra hop or jack in me every 3rd or 4th time I do it!

What about just doing jumping jacks for the flying jacks-kick heels things, and normal plyos in place for the forward hopping jump things?
 
One of my favourites is front kicks, kickboxing style, but where you jump onto the step to do each one, almost karate style.

Do this repeatedly for a minute or what ever, by the time you get this far into the video and it is enough to get the heart rate near exploding!
