I am doing the HC Muscle Build Rotation for March. I have yet to make it through Imax 2. I can get through level 6 and once in a great while 7.

Tomorrow is scheduled for Imax 3. Should I even consider doing Imax 3 or stay with Imax 2 until I can get through it all??

Hi Dawn,

I will venture an opinion, but it's my opinion only. IMAX3 is definitely challenging, but if you pace yourself and don't overdo it, substitute lower impact exercises on the tough ones, you could try it. IMAX3 also has shorter versions in the premix. It has mixes of only the first 5 intervals plus warm up and stretch and the last 5 intervals and warm up and stretch. You could try the shorter ones first and get acquainted with them first.

But you know your body better than any of us, and so in the long run the choice should be yours.:)

Hi Dawn!

I have another suggestion....lower the step. I started out Cathe's stuff with just the bench and no risers. Sometimes doing some of the jumping moves on the ground instead of using the step helps lower the intensity. I also tend to lose the arms when I get to winded. Anything to help me through the entire workout! I hope this helps.
